I went through the new vehicle phase when I was younger. Eventually learned like most do, that new vehicles just make no sense from a financial perspective. Let someone else take the hit that has the money to throw away. Deals can be found on quality pre-owned vehicles and save you thousands.
I antually looked it up for that car and Buick says you can, They also state several times to look up procedure in owners manuel so who knows what's involved.
Rusty knows best. Overall buy the Buick if it will make your life easier and make you happy. Life is short and we can’t take our money with us. Best of luck
Rusty indicated that he didn’t have any trips with the Class C on the horizon - which means he should be burning a hole down I-10 by next Wednesday……..😂
Funny we missed each other In quartzite, we arrived at rice ranch the day after you left. We had a weenie roast the first night, and enjoyed meeting all the people staying at Rice Ranch. I have been towing a Fiat 500 Abarth since I bought the RV. Sadly however when I drove back to Phoenix the fiat didn't survive the trip back. I'm not sure how low to the ground your 500 is, but ours was really low, so low that we couldn't get an oil change at most places, or use automated car washes. I will miss the fun and pep of the Abarth, but I wont miss having to avoid camping off grid. I will be driving to Denver to pick up a 2006 Honda Element AWD as the new tow car, and I hope that frees me up to more areas to camp and travel off the beaten path.
Ohhh my goodness, I can hardly wait for the next video on the car shopping trip! Coffee bean is adorable and seems pretty reliable. Mr. Rusty , not sure if you've ever visited our County Library (here in Del Rio) it is really nice. Thank you again for bringing us along on your adventures
If given the choice I would buy new without hesitation. I personally would only buy a used car if I knew the previous owner. I could talk a book about "used cars".
I’m not a big car person, but I think the Coffee Bean is cute!😁 Of course, that’s a female thing, and there are obviously other reasons for keeping or selling. You do you, Rusty!😉 The rest of us are just having fun as we ride along with you!🤗
Try this Beautiful walk in City Trail, very quiet. San Felipe Creek Trail Moore Park Enjoy this 2.2-mile out-and-back trail in Del Rio, Texas. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 41 min to complete.
Rusty, I like the way you were talking yourself out of the deal before you arrived in Del Rio. I wanted to help you turn around the vehicle and go back home. Going to a car salesman environment is probably equivalent to checking out of life at a funeral home. Their going to poke you one last time!
Hi rusty. Coffee bean seems like a good little car but there is certainly nothing wrong with getting a different car if you want. Sometimes change is good and like you said, it gives you something to do. Looks like you will be good either way.
Why?????? You had Sparky new correct? You still have the small van? Maybe just lease a car from here forward? You change you mind every 6 months to year. Get a 6 month lease. Lease the newest car available. Get paid for 3 and 6 month reviews.
Cars are depreciating assets so if I could go back in time I would have saved a lot of money by keeping cars for at least 10 to 15 years. I used to be a Chevy guy but not anymore. Toyota is the only car I would consider replacing my current Toyota Camry Hybrid. I would buy a Tesla if decided to go all electric.
I got me a fiat, got my old fiddle, suns coming up I got cakes on the griddle, life ain’t nothing but a funny funny riddle! Thank god I didn’t buy a Buick!
I checked and the Buick Envista cannot be towed 4 wheels down. The Buick Envision with AWD can be towed 4 wheels down. Better check your info. Envision is much more expensive.
Hey Rusty-fumny video. I've talked myself in and out of buying something so many times -the same thought process.where even i am not sure what I'll do till I get there .Stay Well. Matt G
you can NOT flat tow automatics at hiyfheay speed or more than a couple miles to repair shop. the engine drives the torque converter that deives the oil pump. only auto i know is a 4x4 transfer case with neutral to disconnect drive shaft from engine.
I was workin' on the other side of town And comin' home I thought I'd stop and have a round And in this bar I heard someone speak your name And Lord what a shame, I met a friend of yours today
Right now the only thing we would buy is a Toyota, everything else is junk.Infact Toyota is the top selling brand of car in the USA according to Car Edge.at this time.
You EXPECT a "fair deal" on a NEW car? HAHAHA! HAHAHA! HAHAHA! Make sure to buy the 3 year extended warranty for 100% powertrain. Because it WILL have an "unscheduled separation" by 35k miles (IF you keep it that long).
Hi Rusty: A little advise from a 100 + vehicle owner. Don't buy the Buiick...check the Car Wizzard all the GM vehicles are junk. Now as to the Fiat, zi would consider selling it but do it private. As to what to buy, Toyota, Honda,Mazda 3-4 years old great vehicles buy with low miles all have great resale value.
Rusty 😮. I think that you have become a business man buying and selling your stuff for profit lol 😂. And what’s wrong with that ???? Nothing at all. Keep doing you and all is good buddy 🎉😂.
by all means buy buy buy...after all you haven't bought a car in a couple weeks.
@@johnjackson4152 ha ha breakfast for Matilda
"I could crawl underneath but I'd be there for the rest of my life" LOL I'm not quite there yet but it's damn close!!

How many miles do you put on a driving vehicle a year?
Lease.
Keep the Bean. I love that little car.
Wait, what happened to the Corrolla that got incredible mpg??
Personally I'd get rid of the fiat and get a toyota
I wouldn’t do it, keep your Coffee Bean, $3000 trade in credit is a rip off!
Retail value is $2000-$4500. $3,000 is average trade-in at dealer.
Keep The Bean, Brother Rusty!
Do you still have the white van in Zozzo?
The current cars I want are the Hyundai Tucson Blue Hybrid, Kia Niro Hybrid, Hyundai Elantra Blue Hybrid, Toyota Corolla LE Hybrid
How can you flat tow an automatic transmission without modification
I antually looked it up for that car and Buick says you can, They also state several times to look up procedure in owners manuel so who knows what's involved.
I thought automatics needed the car to be run every X amount of miles to make the transmission pump fluid to live the internals.
Rusty knows best. Overall buy the Buick if it will make your life easier and make you happy. Life is short and we can’t take our money with us. Best of luck

I own a Buick Enclave and Envision and have been happy with both.

Why?
I do like the looks of the Buick, 20000 buys a lot of tires.
Thanks for the ride-along and talk, Rusty! Looking forward to hearing what happens.

Sounds good!
Adios Coffee Bean, we hardly knew ya
Sure buy a new one...then turn around and sell it within a month!
A new car at your age? Yes!
I do like the shape and size of Coffee Bean but there's other flavors of Coffee in those car lots everyday.
I'm kinda liking the camera set up where it shows the traffic behind you in your rear view mirror.
Yeah, it does look kinda cool.
Rusty, I like the way you were talking yourself out of the deal before you arrived in Del Rio. I wanted to help you turn around the vehicle and go back home. Going to a car salesman environment is probably equivalent to checking out of life at a funeral home. Their going to poke you one last time!
You know, you’re right.
Are we buying or selling today? Let’s find out! It’s always an adventure.
To be fickle or not to be
Yes, you can go out with less than you came in - it's called debt. But that will not be your problem, Mr Rusty. You are savvy.
This all makes me think like you're not very serious about "unfikling."
Which I don't even think is a word.
Hi rusty. Coffee bean seems like a good little car but there is certainly nothing wrong with getting a different car if you want. Sometimes change is good and like you said, it gives you something to do. Looks like you will be good either way.
The new Equinox body style on the 2025 is better in my opinion than the 2024 old style
Why?????? You had Sparky new correct? You still have the small van?

Rusty what titles on the CD's did you buy? I'm just curious.
Try a visit to Val Verde Winery in Del Rio. Beautiful area.
Sounds nice, I’ll have to check it out.
I'm half your age, and I can't keep up with you!! Keep being you!! Cheers!
i hope the new car works out for you rusty ! go for it.
I checked and the Buick Envista cannot be towed 4 wheels down. The Buick Envision with AWD can be towed 4 wheels down. Better check your info. Envision is much more expensive.
2.75, happy days, its 4.75 in Reno, hasnt been below 4 bucks in 4 years.😢
Wifey has a 2024 Envista Avenir... She really likes it.
I'd prefer the basic configuration of ole Coffee Bean myself.
Make it part of a package deal when you sell the house with car and golf cart.....🤔
Rusty its your life, do what you want to do !!!
Envista made in China.
Keep coffee bean
unless its like 500 bucks. dont buy it
Hey Rusty-fumny video. I've talked myself in and out of buying something so many times -the same thought process.where even i am not sure what I'll do till I get there .Stay Well. Matt G
Yep, that’s how it goes sometimes.
Once you get that fever to buy, its gonna happen. Speaking from personal experience
Yep. Happened to me this summer.
Sir, were you really a C.P.A ?
you can NOT flat tow automatics at hiyfheay speed or more than a couple miles to repair shop. the engine drives the torque converter that deives the oil pump. only auto i know is a 4x4 transfer case with neutral to disconnect drive shaft from engine.
remember no CD players on any new car
Man, good thing ole Rusty isn't married. That lady'd be gone before you knew it!😅
Do what you want to do, you cannot take it with you. It is not like you are robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Buy the vehicle. Coffee Bean is a month old (to you). Time to move on.
I was workin' on the other side of town
And comin' home I thought I'd stop and have a round

Do you still have the transit van
It's for sale. My son is handling it
You cant beat a manual transmission.
When in doubt do Nothing
Comon Mr Fickel , keep what you got and spend your money elsewhere
stay with what ya got Rusty .....the new stuff is Junk

Cool video tech talk rusty lol 😆 😄 🤣 😂 new car you might get
Do what makes you happy 😊 when my investment comes in I think the same way, Rusty. Safe travels 😊
I paid 450 for my tires. 2010 Toyota Corolla car.
Keep doing you my friend you deserve it
I assume you're well set Rusty so if you want to buy the other car do it. I would just keep the bean and wait for the right buyer.
Sounds like you are just bored and looking for things to add content to your videos!
Rusty, you singlehandedly improve the economy of any area you reside, you do you!
I try my best.
Keep on doing Rusty. If the price is right, buy the new car.
I would get that FIAT pronto. Fix. It. Again .Tony
Yes, uh no, uh yes, uh no, yes, uh no. Maybe? Rusty doin' Rusty
Buick is making some of their cars in China. Is that one of them?
Late but happy new year "100" SALUD.
It looks like you are holding up traffic. You should be going about 80 mph.
Nah...not really.
Wouldn’t you really rather have a Buick…..
.. hunt some cool Del Rio real estate deals while your over there ..!
FIAT: Fix It Again Tony

I thought I had spenditis
Buy a Mazda 3.
🙂👍👍
Day a new car.
You rich guys are funny! You change your cars often as your pants? Lol😂
Not quite but almost.
Trade it in for the new car.
Is the car your looking at one of the Chinese buicks?
Could be either South Korea or China.
@@curtissorg4687 yep,China.
You should get that faceplate put on quickly. Something tells me there is a trip for you in the near future!🤣
Do you really want to buy a car made in China?
Please don’t, that Buick is crap. Remember Daewoo? Yeah it’s that bad.
Sell your Fiat and tow your van (if you have it)
Hi Rusty: A little advise from a 100 + vehicle owner.
