Hi Matthew! Recently got my fluval flex evo marine. Been binge watching your videos ever since. You really are a joy to watch and making me so excited to make my journey in this hobby! Keep up the good work and inspiring lots of new reefers out there. 🥰
Hey Mathew, I am looking forward to the new series on the max nano. I enjoy your videos and I have learned a lot. My wife and I just purchased the nano peninsula from BRS. Tell the fellas at BRS you had a part in the sale: time stamp 08/25 @ 9:51, shipping to Bermuda Dunes, Ca. Take care
I really like mine, been running just over a year now and it’s thriving, ditched the tiny suppled ATO and got a D&D one with reservoir in the cabinet, also running a D&D 100w titanium heater, controller and cooling fans for the summer, two head reef dose running all for reef and vibrant (just once a week) I have the reefwave 25 but it’s well overkill, I just wanted everything all on one app, only problem now is I’m running out of room for the corals 🤣
Very nearly! I have firework clove polyps on a small rock that are growing like mad, I would love to frag them up but I don’t really have the room for all the plugs lol
This is labeled as a series but the playlist only has 1 video. I was looking forward to seeing examples of this tank stocked and setup as suggested in the description. Did those videos get cataloged wrong, or did they just never happen?
The Cabinet is small enough, assembling on a Bed is nice because it also raises the construction to a more reasonable height to work with. Just make sure the bed is made, and try to pull the top blanket/quilt/Duvet/Sheet etc tight and use a large bowl for the screws and small pieces.
What is that type of electrical connection between the pumps/lights and power supply? Is that proprietary and would be annoying to change pumps if needed?
Hi Matthew - I have a question as it seems even google doesn’t have the answer! What is a rear sump . I should state I am a complete novice and this would be my first set up in the marine world i have had a freshwater tank about 10 years ago that was probably 120 litres. I cannot reconcile myself to the idea of a sump under the tank. I am hoping that a rear sump is one that is contained in the main tank so there is no chance of leaks… unless the tank glass falls apart. I realise that will mean I am left will less total water volume but id rather live with that for now. !!!
You're exactly right! Tanks with rear sumps are typically referred to as All-In-One (AIO for short) aquariums because the filtration is contained within the tank itself. Innovative Marine, Red Sea, Fiji Cube, JBJ, and other aquarium manufacturers all have some great AIO style tank options. We have AIO style tanks from 3.8 gallons all the way up to 120 gallons, so there is an AIO option for just about everyone 🙂 As always, don't be shy with any other questions. We're here to help and happy to help!
This is not that good considering the cost. Noisy pumps and skimmer, no place for a decent heater - have mine in the display, ato is a joke, light keeps disconnecting from wifi, no spectrum adjustments, the return pump installation and sponge cleaning is a mess, overflows to skimmer chamber instead of the sock with a waterfall sound. I regret not buying a real tank with the sump tbh. I’ve spent like 1k more on upgrading it already and still not there
I have a Nano Max, Aquarium is ok, but the Light and App Setup with WIFI is the greatest bullshit that i have ever seen. Disappointing App, first Setup terrible bad. The App is ridiculous, and after 4 Month i have changed the LED against a Kessil Tuna Blue. Bad WIFI Technical Products 👎.
Great can't wait as i just got new nano Peninsula to lol
I absolutely love my Max Nano. Beautiful design.

Thanks so much for the support! 🙏 We wish you well on your reefing journey. Never hesitate to reach out for help if you need it along the way!
Love your series Matthew. Keep up the good work !
Thanks for vids Matthew love the tips, opinions and shared experiences.
I just got this tank and I love it!
A nice AIO system Matthew. Clean looking and the stand looks like it’s built well.
Mine gets here Thursday (07/28/22) so this is great timing!!

Great Vid. Where does the heater sit?
Should make a video comparing all major aquarium brand …
Red Sea, water box, jb, Fiji etc.. Great vid Matthew

They haven't happened quite yet, stay tuned!
still looking forward to those videos ;) just purchased my first Max Nano Peninsula!@@BRStv

Red sea max nano its a verry nice tank. Almost bought it. Now i have the waterbox marine x 35.1 ,its the same size but it has a sump.
Believe me, Waterbox Marine x is ten times better that Red Sea Max.
Hi. Isit possible to use this tank as a freshwater tank?
It can be used with freshwater, but some of the equipment (light and protein skimmer) are saltwater specific.
Hi, the bubble trap sponge is to be wash everytime? And how do I wash it? And wouldn’t washing it make the beneficial bacteria be gone?
Hey Matthew! What is the tank on the left hand side behind you?
When are you uploading the next of the series?!
What is that type of electrical connection between the pumps/lights and power supply? Is that proprietary and would be annoying to change pumps if needed?
trying to find links to the referenced "future videos"
Will the seals hold unlike other redsea tanks?
You said all you need is saltwater rock and sand this system comes with a heater ?

What light does the tank come with?
Great
What the other tank behind you ?
How tall is the overall setup? I’d love to put this in my office but worried about Height restraints
The stand + tank is about 52" tall. Plus about another 8" or so for the light, so you'll need at least 5' of height.
@@BRStv thats awesome thank you
Hi I have Red Sea 90 light how can set up light for 24 gallon tank
I have it very loud. For what costs.
If it's a water trickle kind of sound, try increasing the water level in the rear sump.
Matthew. Change your shirt back to Bulk Reef Supply!
Haha Yeah It’s still a nice looking shirt.

Love the content, quality and information in the video over the years. However, It is unfortunate and unexpected to see open proselytization.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but this video rushes through and straight up omits vital information. Not a good guide.

Protein skimmers are so unnecessary in Nano tanks... Such a waste of money
You can definitely get by without one in a nano system when water changes are so quick and easy 😀
I have to say this is probably the worst set a video as ever seen in my life
