As a korean guy, I was about to cry because it reminds me of the day of spring 2012. I was a freshman and I watched that movie with my first love. I can feel the sunshine, breeze, flower scent of spring day while I was watching it.
When i first heard about this movie I heard about first love and how Suzy reminded everyone of their youth and the love they left behind. But I never understood or believed it cuz I'm not Korean. But I guess it's true since u had the same feelings.

everybody complain about the ending... i actually thought the ending was perfect. Just like in real life, theres misunderstandings, regrets, what ifs , only if i had done this instead of that.. and about mis opportunity what could of happen.
The movie was about "First Love's". In watching movies we all look forward to how it will end. Will it be a happy or a sad ending. Well, Architecture 101 is different though... it's not really about happy or sad endings. We all know that not everybody ended up with their First Love's. But does it really matter? I don't think so. What matters most is that feeling we feel when we had it. That's why there's a saying that First Love Never Dies because it lives in our heart forever that even if you did not end up together... in your heart, you always feel that you are connected to each other.
This has nothing to do with the film but I want to get this out. Studying architecture is hard. I have heard rumors that say they have no time to sleep because most of their hours drawing and redrafting diffferent architecture designs.
+agingerrail123 If you treat it like a full time job then you shouldn't have sleepless nights. Also people get too caught up on grades, don't be so hardworking and just enjoy life outside of that.
+agingerrail123 to summarize my experience: studied 5 years for my degree which consist of sleepless night, no social life, no time for pampering let alone taking a bath during deadlines.. my best friend is my coffee maker, and my boyfriend is my bed, my savior is my scientific calculator.. to many national building code to memories and shit load of structural engineering ( yes we have engineering maths which consist of algebra, physics, trig, integral and differential calculus, engineering science (1,2,3), surveying and structural engineering (1,2,3,4) which btw are prerequisite subject), had 10 design classes which consist of 8 hours per day in 2 days (in a week) --- in this class, per semester we need to pass 2 plates for 1st sem and 3 plates for 2nd sem, history classes which tackles my country's architecture and other various global architecture, planning classes, building technology classes, professional practice classes, also sketchup and autocadd classes and the worst bunch of all classes: the minor classes.. and the highlight of your college life is your thesis deliberation which you will have to defend and prepare alone with book filled with data and research and your design solution of your proposed thesis.. should be complex eg: airport, marina and etc., thankfully I'd graduated and currently having my apprenticeship which btw is 3,000 hours (2 years to be exact).. but architecture is not all hard work, i had the best time of my life during school and the shit you will learn will seem 1/10 of the facts you will learn when you start your apprenticeship. if you chose to take this path be prepared emotionally and financially! this is my honest synopsis of my college life.

Choosing lee je hoon and uhm tae woong as the same character is just perfect. They look similar. I think Kim So Hyun will be a perfect young version for Han Ga In since their look also similar. But at that time, Kim So Hyun was too young.
Well she's divorced. And about the guy, If I were his fiancee, I wouldn't live with a man who loves another woman. I think he just needed to tell the truth to his fiancee
This is a great movie for those who have a lot of questions in mind like "What if?" or "What could've been?" It is a great movie that tells you to grab the opportunity now before it's too late. We all have our first love, even if we didn't end up with them, it's a great life experience we'll forever bear in our hearts. ❤️
Just watched this movie. I CRIED SO HARD. Life is so unfair for Seo-yeon!!!!! For the 2nd time around, Seung-min shouldn't have let go of his first love again. This movie is very heartbreaking... I wanted a different ending. Also, SUZY WAS GREAT HERE. All of them were, undoubtedly stellar in each of their characters. I just wanna give kudos to her specifically because, this Suzy right here could literally spit on her haters' jealous faces. No wonder the whole nation fell for her after this film debut. She was, and still is, a gem. 😘💕 I hope South Korea continues to treasure her. She is only born once. We are lucky to have existed in this era with her.
the characters in this movie just seem cowardly...but I think what's beautiful is you can't help but sympathize with them because everyone is cowardly sometimes. and doesn't have the self-confidence to say what they want
Just watched this movie, I've never watched such a relatable movie before. I'm usually not one for romance drama type movies but this one just had something so different and really was great to watch. Beautiful movie, great acting and well done story. 👌🏾👌🏾
This movie just tugs at my heart wanting them to be together. however it is the past and it remains that way. How I feel for the main actress. The movie is just so emotional.

이영화 나온지가 벌써 7년이라니 시간참 빠르다. 이영화보고 건축에 관심 생겨 전혀 전공분야도 아니었는데 인강 끊고 퇴근후 공부하고 그랬었는데, 실기에서 여러번 떨어져서 기간만료후 다시 필기시험봐서 작년에 1회시험에 실기도 합격 했었는데.
이당시의 수지는 이자격증 따고싶게 만든 동기와 힘들 주었다.
