I own the havak element in 6.5 prc. Sub .5 moa easily with factory. Scoped it weighs 7lbs even with titanium break. Easily the best rifle I’ve ever shot. I’ll agree with you about the stock though after a little while with it, you don’t mind the ‘cheap’ feel as it’s very light, stiff and excellently bedded. Shot tikkas before, great guns, but the recoil lug and lack of trigger/stock options is an issue. Wouldn’t trade my seekins for anything.

I’ve got the same model tikka in 300 win mag and not a fan. Shoots 1.5”-2” groups at 100 yards with every ammo I’ve tried. Selling it to get a havak ph2 in 6.5 prc
Thanks for good video. One aspect that should be considered is price. Tikkas can be found for less the half the cost of the Seekins PH2 rifle. I own multiple Tikka rifles and find them all to be very accurate. I also own a Seekins Precision PH2 in 338 Win. It's the only rifle I own the shoots one ragged hole using 225 gr Speer SPBT and A4350 making it my favorite elk gun. So maybe the extra $ is worth it, plus it's make in USA. A better comparison IMO would be the Seekins vs the Sako S20 as they are more similar builds. The two S20s I own both shoot 1/2" with hand loads. Bottom line for me is any of these rifles are dead on as an excellent hunting rigs. Keep up the great videos!

I dont trust anyone who uses those vertical grips on a hunting rifle
@whiteyfisk9769 a vertical grip is way more comfortable and consistent than your traditional grip.

Seekins... the bedding, stock and what not are overall better in my opinion
@@Bullets4Bucks Kind of figured sounds like a PH2 in 6.5PRC is in the works I was strongly considering going full custom but don't think i was ready to jump down that rabbit hole yet
well i have to go tikka i got permission to pick up a rifle after the missus made an apple store trip but don't think i can sell the price of a seekins

I'd take the Tikka. Put her in a KRG chassis and give her a Proof carbon barrel. Beats the Seekings every day!
I guess if your goal is to spend $1k on a rifle, then dump over $2k+ of parts into it just to try and out shoot a $1800 factory rifle out of the box with a better warranty, go for it big guy
Hey snot-nose, I just voiced my personal preference based on my personal experience. No need to get your panties in a wad. Either way, to support my choice; My first rifle was a Tikka Tactical (many years ago). My last rifle was a TRG22. Prior to that a AT as well as an AX. My buddy shot a Tikka Tax A1 next to me when I had the AX.The difference in performance was negligible and certainly not a 5K difference. You can like it, you can not like it. It's a fact, all are solid 3/4 MOA rifles and 1/2 on a good day if you do your part. With regards to the Tikka; For the money, nothing comes close, nothing. By the way, Proof barrel, 750, Bravo Stock, 350, Tikka action, 7-900 if you search a little. No where near your 3+K in parts.Take care mandude. (I guess the name says it all, lol)@@coolkidmandude1

Depends on which custom vs which production. You will never hear me say anything bad about production rifles like the Sako TRG and Accuracy International. I owned several of these over the years. They are top quality.. I like the Tikka's because I think they are great value and beat low end semi customs/productions like the Seekins.
Savage ultralight with the proof barrel out shoots both all day.. i got em to compare!
@Bullets4bucks I don’t like the Remington based action, first of all 90° bolt is unacceptable. It reminds me of years ago everyone wanted a 350 Chevy motor. Not because it was the best you could just accessorize at the best lol.
I really have a hard time liking short bolt throws. I over exaggerate my technique and the 90 always feeds smooth for me. My PH2 in 300 PRC is smooth as butter.
