The Zaatari Refugee Camp is home to 130,000 Syrians fleeing violence and war. Children make up half the camp’s population. This is the story of Sidra, a 12-year old girl who has spent the last 18 months in Zaatari.

While it touches me quite much I'm also a bit confused... like why do war refugees play war/shooter games? Also why don't they let the girls play? :l
It's a very uncomfortable feeling to know that there are actual people in the world who have to live like this and still they behave just like us here... I wish everybody would just stop with war and start supporting each other. War is so unnecessary. );

Hi. We used to play this within our Humnan Geography sessions at University, but sadly the WITHIN app is no more and UA-camVR app isn't available either. Is there anywhere I can download this documentary for our students?

VR is so powerful in contexts like these, it's exciting. But why would you use a VO with fake, unnecessary and judgemental accent?

no it's a real person speaking English because sidra is speaking Arabic
Yeah that's my point. The girl is the narrator. It is a film and translator or not, it is narration and it can be analysed exclusively. The filmmaker doesn't mean any harm but it will be a little more honest if the film was in the girl's voice and langauge, with English subtitles. This translator voice was long abandoned by documentary makers.
