I really appreciate you guys, I was abused as a child and was taken by cyfd here in New Mexico it was a struggle for my little self at the time but I had so much support. Ended up getting adopted and have a great forever family. I totally support BACA for what they do, and everyone else that supports and helps abandoned/abused children.
It takes a special person to do what you and her have done I used to work with an organization who helped remove women and children from abusive homes. When we were no longer allowed to protect them or defend ourselves the organization had to shop
Wow,Totally landed here by accident but your cool but your bride is cool as hell.😂We have 3 step grandkids moved in with us that I never believed the s.daughter could be involved with things she was. I understand working with kids that have been abused. I’m sure her great sense of humor got through tough times. You being a big guy I’m sure is a hit with the kids. We also were involved with Special Olympics as we have one son with CP and an adopted child with autism. You have to put your own family first. No guilt in it at all. You guys seem like the kind that should be in this work. You can get so involved with other things your own family goes to crap. What do you do live and learn.
This is just my opinion. I think the heroes are the kids who go through that stuff. The 10 year old that gives up a better life , goes back to the parent that abused them because they are worried about the 2 younger kids. Raises them, then becomes a cop. That's my hero. Her name is Kirsten.. good vid. I could never do that sort of work/ charity.
I still kind of understand maybe just cause I can’t figure out what baca is out there??? I guess it’s saving kids that been abused ? And that’s a good thing and stop people from getting bullied. I just never heard of you before out there.
I admire you both. I belong to an organization that we know have a mission for kids and veterans. We do two charity rides. A year plus multiple fundraisers through out the year for both causes. We have an ex senator ( bill diamond ) in Maine who started up walk a mile in their shoes. And we were the first to get his charity out there. We are doing everything we can to helping the children
I have lot's of respect for what you have done with BACA. Our local clubs all work together to support each other and all of the needs of the community. Children and their needs are top of the list. If you are ever in Eureka California I would love to meet you in person. Your channel has provided some great information and your causes are close to my heart.
As a Clinical Social Worker who works adolescent inpatient (hospital) with mostly suicidal or serious mental health cases, I completely understand the position your wife was in. It is a recipe for major burnout. Hard enough keeping your head screwed on right as it is working that kind of job, without also doing similar on your spare time. Got to take care of yourself first before you try to help anyone else.
From a former bother from Las Vegas, thank you to for helping our heros not to feel afraid in the world in which they live. You both made a huge impact on the kids in your area and will undoubtedly be amazing parents!
Bless your hearts. Truly meant. I was for more than fifteen years an "unpaid professional" Search and Rescue dog handler; the full working life of two very awesome dogs. Very few will understand what a blessing and simultaneously how all consuming a service of passion can become, particularly for those that do not take lightly a commitment. Take rest and trust God. He will never waste hearts like yours. :)
Thank you for showing love to law enforcement for helping when kids are going through hell. Too often the motorcycle community finds it fashionable to hate cops for no reason other than "culture". Keep in mind, a shit ton of cops ride too, so, we can get along if you want but you have to make that choice. Cops go through a ton of nasty shit on the job from seeing bikers run over by big rigs, to finding infants murdered in their carriers and discarded outside in the winter cold by their own mother who was too twacked out of her mind to realize infants cry when they're hungry and the way to make it stop is to feed it. Any way, soory for the rant, all that to say, thank you for breaking with biker culture and showing law enforcement a little love for what we deal with. ML&R
I hold the most amount of respect and admiration for everyone that is affiliated with BACA. My daughter had a case, and is still being supported by her BACA folks! I love that they never left her! Thanks to you and the Lady for doing what you do!
I was a founder/president of a BACA Chapter in a Northern CA County where the services were much needed. We were well on our way to becoming a full charter when an issue arose at a State Conference. Some of the chapters in the larger metropolitan areas decided that retired and or current members of law enforcement should not be members of BACA. These chapters had been attending CofC meetings and began to be influenced by the clubs of CofC. As a retired LEO, this left a bit of a bitter taste. I respectfully left the chapter, along with a number of other members who disagreed with this type of direction for the organization. It is truly an awesome organization. It was just sad that many had lost their way and became a bite too full of themselves. I fully respect your decision and the reasons for that decision...and huge props to Mrs. Monkey for the work she does. I had been assigned to child sexual assault cases during my career... toughest cases to handle for anyone.
I was a VP for a chapter in Florida, we were the second chapter to start in Florida. After the International meeting (this was about 15-20) years ago. They hated that we had a female chter President and as per BACA rules she was the only member that could be the next State President. National and Chief did not want a female president and did everything to force us out! The old state president past away and seeing how he was a good friend, I went to the funeral. Something that will always stay with me is the number of people from the mother chapter including the new state president that came up to me and said "you were one of the few that was wanted to keep "! I will always believe in their mission statement,I just wish that more members remember that they are there for the children and NOT just to have a patch on so you can act like Billy Bad Ass! If anyone wants to hear the entire story, send me a PM and we can talk. Tugs ex-VP of Centerstate Florida Chapter
As long as you are helping the children is all that matters if you need to leave a group that takes more from you, and you are still providing great care for the kids that's all that matters
Very high props to both of you, my mom was a foster parent for over 25 years and as a kid growing up seeing all the abuse and damage these young kids went through made me so angry at the bastards that could do such a thing, it was difficult to deal with, but my mom touched so many lives and was awarded foster parent of the year many years, so thank you to both of you and all that you do.
As a foster parent I am thankful for all of the support we get from many different parties associated with the system. There are some good people in it who have their hearts in the right place. Unfortunately the fields are ripe and the workers seem to be few and most seem maxed to capacity and the need is only growing.
They way you left the org. solidifies who you are in this community. You left with LOYALTY, HONOR, LOVE & RESPECT, and many still speak of you as FAMILY !!! So glad I was able to meet the two of you in Sturgis. Hope to catch you again sometime.
I have been interested in joining this organization for quite some time. Unfortunately I live right in the middle of two chapters and both are 5 hours in either direction. I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for these people. Cheers bud!
I understand how it can be "so much". I'm the VP of our chapter and a former P - and I'm and investigator with Child Protective Services. My wife works for a juvenile probation office and is our agency liaison. We have to work hard to not burn out! Much love and respect from BACA Shepherd.
You’ve been doing good work, but it’s honorable to put your family first. You only have 18 summers to fill your child with love, and to prepare them to deal with the cruel world. As a dad with grown children, I wish I had more time to guide them, but both my boys turned out to be great man. Thank you both for your work and may God bless you
Great job and nice way to do it I almost joined but my time was the same way but I would have loved to do that maybe one day but thanks for the years of doing it I'm sure the kids will remember you
You're decision, as difficult as it may have been, is very admirable in that you put family first. The children in foster care are in great hands with Mrs. Monkey, no doubt. You 2 rock. Stay safe and god bless Monkeys.
You two have my respect and admiration for how you handled it and made sure the Heroes and your duties were completely taken cared of and/or resolved. My wife & I left shortly after we earned our “tomatoes” and bottom rockers for the secondary reasons you left. We absolutely loved the organization and the majority of the people but there were some patches that treated us like we were scum and not worth anything even though we gave and would give more of every ounce of our soul to empower those kids during their darkest times. At the end of the day, we left because we wanted to protect our family from the chauvinistic, hateful and down right mean spirited treatment we received on the L1’s. It’s amazing how some patches acted when they knew no one was watching versus when they thought they had the spotlight and their ego & self worth overshadowed the mission. We appreciate you two and we love your channel and it’s content. Keep up the great work and know you have our utmost respect and support. God Bless 🙏❤️
I am sorry you had that experience in the Org. That is not how anyone should be treated. Everyone has a role to play and no one should be treated that way. It is not indicative of the Org or every chapter, just to let you know.
@@cem1133 We both appreciate the time you spent reading & replying to our comment. We’re truly heartbroken when we reported the behavior, we got “yeah, we know who he is and we got a lot of complaints about him. He’s been with BACA for 15 or 16 years, so he’s not going anywhere” instead of “don’t let that bother you but please focus on your own reasons why you’re both here in helping the children. Yes, it absolutely is a kick in the gut when that happened to us but we did the right thing and those who we’re still friends with after we officially left said we did the right thing. Who knows, we may want to come back if things change and the culture shifts to being about the mission versus a “big D party” and doing everything in their power to make new members feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. Until then, we’ll focus on our own family and business and we know you’ll do the same. Keep up the great content and attitude, we’ll be watching and supporting you guys. God Bless.
@davidtruong9367 Again I am sorry that you were treated that way in the Org. It is supposed to be all about the kids but can get toxic on occasion with bad members. That should have been taken care of by your sponsor and by the CEB. Unfortunately the Org has started to become in my opinion to big to fast and things are taking the CEM and SEB's away from mission and having them focus to much on policy. As a sponsor myself and as the chapter Sgt-at-arms I was disheartened to hear what ya'll experienced. Again please don't let that one member taint how you view the Org and I hope one day you guys will decide to come back in. All the best Doc Tri-city Va@@davidtruong9367
@@cem1133 Unfortunately it was our sponsor that said that when we reported the awful behavior to her and we got ZERO follow ups from the CEB. So after a full three days, we officially left and gave back the patches. It was a very sad day; we miss our brothers and sisters so much as we now watch on the sidelines cheering them on from a distance. Wish we were in your chapter based on your insights and thoughts about how things “should have” happened or been handled, but that was not the case. Praying for all those who still ride and give their all to those kids.
Well I knew you guys cared with alll your hearts now I have Huge respect. Being a Nurse I know the pressures and stresses of life I appreciate you both and Thank you for all you do ❤❤❤❤
Anyone who prioritizes children have a special place in heaven. In my opinion, children are the most important gem( I didn't want to say "thing") in the world. My wife and I donate to children's causes. When we were members of Ft. HOG, we were invited to Daytona for a party were we donated money to Boggy Creek. On that Sunday we were to go visit the children but I couldn't go. It was too emotional for me as I would have cried the minute I would have seen those precious children. God bless you both.
Thank you brother for all you have done for the organization. You left on good terms and that's the best way to do it. Hope to meet you and Mrs Monkey someday. I have nothing but respect for the both of you.
Hay, I'm ok with y'all doing whatever you do. I do what I can. You do what you can. Enjoy. Happy go lucky. Respect for you, for them. 💯. Thank you for sharing
Proud of you! Many will and should realize Family comes first. Not to say your organisation is not Family you have to put the 3 of you first. I am sure your organisation understands and supports your decision because it is best for both of your Families. You both will always support the organization not to be names because of the Great work they do. I hope your life gets better as time goes on but will always be proud of what you both have accomplished in yoyr past and will continue to do in your future. Good Luck and hope your life continues to be Happy.
Much respect for y’all. I can tell it took some serious deep sole searching for y’all to come to this decision. I see this as a continuation of your dedication to kids. Today its your own. So proud to “know” you both. You are an example to follow for sure. In my humble opinion. Hope to have the pleasure of meeting y’all in person someday. Thank you for all you do for the kids, and for all you do for the world of motorcycling. You videos bring much appreciated value to those of us watching. I suspected Mrs Monkey had a high pressure/stressful job, today I learned that is true and that she holds a noble position amongst the top of the noble positions. ❤❤❤ to the Mrs and you Mr Monkey. One last thing, your daughter is lucky to have y’all as parents and humanity will benefit through her for it. Much love and respect, Frank, aka “allswild” 😊
Hi da Monk and Mrs Monkey. Well as you said things can change, I am just surprised it has happened, but I understand why and respect your joint decision. Thank you for being so open and honest with us.
You guys are amazing. You are fighting the battle on the home front. Thanks for your videos and seeing your beautiful Motorcycles. I hope to be able to see you all at a rally and talk to you all more about this. But that's if I can get time off the army.
Wow! I have been watching you guys for a couple of years and knew that you did things for children but I didn't know to what extent. You 2 are truly an inspiration!
I just want to tell you that you inspired my husband to join baca. He's been a part of it for like 6 months now and let's just say it's a great organization. We live in Cleveland Ohio.
Much respect to you and Mrs Monkey! Very respectfully, thank you both for all you have done for the organization and more importantly for the children both of you have been involved in helping. Totally understand and agree with you both, it's tough. Again, thanks and much respect!
In the couple of years that I have been watching your channel I had no idea what Club you were part of, and because of both of your anonymity in regarding what and who the club is and how you chose to protect it, I knew there had to be a reason. In seeing this today I am truly amazed at the the type of commitment that is needed being part of that organization and what it entailed. Listening to you discuss MC protocols and different ranging topics knowing full well you were versed on so many levels of conduct needed, that what you were doing was very different; and I want to recognize how incredible your work is and that I can imagine the impact you’ve had on each and every single little ones who’s lives you impacted and I sat hearing watching this with tears rolling down my face. The strength, conviction and the amount of heart that it takes to do something at that level, well everything else pales in comparison! You are true warriors and protectors of ones who can’t protect themselves, it is that selfless act of kindness and compassion that is beyond what other patch organizations give to this country. Not to disparage or minimize the charity and fund raising other clubs do; it just what you do changes kids lives and you can’t put a value on that, it is the type of work that’s done by unsung heroes. God Bless you both and the work you’ve both done, the affects on the lives of each and every child you stood along side and protected whether being a physical presence providing the strength for these kids to be able to stand tall against such adversity or the unseen work behind the scenes; it takes a special type of person to know what are doing is incredibly valuable and cannot be praised enough, thank you for sharing your story, after watching this video I know that you both have done work that is not easy in any way. My father used to say “to justify your place in this world, make a difference in someone’s life today, that is the measure of a man” (or woman for that matter) that is a mantra that I tried to life my life by, you two have walked that walk!
You left with Honor and dignity, with your head held high. That speaks a lot to your character and how serious you took your commitment. Nothing but respect for you. Keep doing what you're doing.
Sometimes you gotta know when to say when. I never realized how hard it is to " Work The Mission" till I was doing it. I even tried to get my wife to do it but after seeing this now I know why she told me that is your thing not mine.
Thank you! Knew Mrs. Monkey was an attorney, but never knew just what she did. God Bless you. Dealing with the worst of the worst of crimes and abuse. I couldn't do it. 37 years in LE, I saw some really bad things like you, and Always really appreciated the folks who came out in the middle of the night, or took in a kid in crisis into their homes. Usually it ended that day with us, while you pick up the pieces and continue throughout the system. Thank you. You went in to a noble cause, and served and went out with dignity and the respect of those around you. Thank you
I commend you for putting family first, I know it was for a great charity but family and health of love ones comes first and like you said you could always go back in the future.
You both are such fantastic people. Hope we get to meet in person sometime. There is a season for everything in life. Making time for yourself and those precious years with baby monkey is something you won’t regret. They go by so fast. Much love, honor and respect to you and your family.
Great organization, I live near a chapter here in California, and a buddy of mine is part of the organization and has asked many times for me to join. But as you said, I just haven't had the time to give it the attention it deserves. I work in an institution with juveniles and coach youth baseball, and...and...and... there's never enough time. Good for you guys!!! It's awesome that you can evaluate your needs and priorities for you to be good! Sorry, I'm rambling. Until next time keep the rubber side down 👍
God bless you! I completely understand. We owe you a debt of gratitude for the job you do, the organization was blessing to have you and will continue doing the work on their end. I couldn’t imagine the things you see.
In my Law Enforcement capacity, luckily, i rarely have to encounter "kid stuff". I did recently meet a forensic nurse. I was not aware that there was a specific position that exclusively deals with what they do. Hats off. I don't think i could. But hey, now you are free to join the Outlaws MC, right? 😊
I really appreciate for all you guys did for all those kids for so many years and for all the sacrifices you guys went through. I think you and your wife should make a podcast about it to encourage other people to help with this cause. I have a nephew who is a psychologist who works with abused kids from different countries coming to United States and know exactly what you are talking about. Again thank you guys, we need more people like you guys.
Much respect to both of you for what you've done. Definitely understand your decision.
Thanks for the update. With a wife in the same field, I can understand this for sure. Thankyou for being transparent
Good on ya'll! Integrity shines through this video.

I guess it’s saving kids that been abused ?
And that’s a good thing and stop people from getting bullied. I just never heard of you before out there.
I’ve always had the greatest respect for you two but have even more now. You’ve dedicated your lives to protect kids. There is nothing more noble.

All the best

Being a Nurse I know the pressures and stresses of life I appreciate you both and Thank you for all you do ❤❤❤❤
Thank you both for everything you have done in the organization. I know how y'all feel I belong to guardians of the children Gastonia chapter
The Children deserve nothing less than 100% good for you guys for recognizing that.
Hi guys thanks for sharing! See ya soon!
Hay, I'm ok with y'all doing whatever you do. I do what I can. You do what you can. Enjoy. Happy go lucky. Respect for you, for them. 💯. Thank you for sharing
Thank you! Stand straight and be proud.
Thank you for making this know to those of us that are not channel members (yet). MLLHR
Respect to both of y'all.
Hi da Monk and Mrs Monkey.
Well as you said things can change, I am just surprised it has happened, but I understand why and respect your joint decision. Thank you for being so open and honest with us.
I commend you both for defending those that can't defend themselves, God bless you.
I want to say Thank you for being in the Origination And caring for the Children you gave comfort to . God will always have your Back Amen.
You guys are amazing. You are fighting the battle on the home front. Thanks for your videos and seeing your beautiful Motorcycles. I hope to be able to see you all at a rally and talk to you all more about this. But that's if I can get time off the army.
Mr & Mrs, I have always been a fan with much respect for you two. But this update brought my respect/admiration to another level. 🤝❤️
Thanks for all You guys Do ...
Wow! I have been watching you guys for a couple of years and knew that you did things for children but I didn't know to what extent. You 2 are truly an inspiration!
Well done, and way to solidly place an example of integrity on display.
You two are how I found out about the organization and started the mission. Best thing I've ever been apart of, thank you
❤
I just want to tell you that you inspired my husband to join baca. He's been a part of it for like 6 months now and let's just say it's a great organization. We live in Cleveland Ohio.
❤❤
I'm down in Akron, will have to take a look!
Wow, two fantastic people my heart goes out to you too. You live a good life. You are good people
Much respect to you and Mrs Monkey! Very respectfully, thank you both for all you have done for the organization and more importantly for the children both of you have been involved in helping. Totally understand and agree with you both, it's tough. Again, thanks and much respect!
Thanks very much for the video. I'm going to look into the organisation in the UK. Amazing work. You are amazing people. Thank you
mad respect man.. for real... you gotta take care of #1 FIRST.. ALWAYS FIRST...
Boundaries, boundaries are so important. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free
❤❤
You left with Honor and dignity, with your head held high. That speaks a lot to your character and how serious you took your commitment. Nothing but respect for you. Keep doing what you're doing.
❤
Family first ..good on both of you for the things you have done and still do ..much love brother and sister..
Nothing but the utmost respect for both of you.
Nothing but respect for you both
Sometimes you gotta know when to say when.
Thank you
Thank you for what you do ❤
Darrin from St. Charles Mo. here!! I love you guy!! Bless your hearts for what you have accomplished.
Great message even though you did not have to explain.
thanks for everything you both have done for the kids.
I commend you for putting family first, I know it was for a great charity but family and health of love ones comes first and like you said you could always go back in the future.
I respect both of you guys for doing this video and all the good work with the kids ❤
Until next time keep the rubber side down 👍
You give off cool stern dad vibes
God bless you! I completely understand. We owe you a debt of gratitude for the job you do, the organization was blessing to have you and will continue doing the work on their end. I couldn’t imagine the things you see.
You always have to do what is best for you. She said it best... You have to give 100% or give nothing. Family first and always! Love you guys
Huge respect to you both and thank you .
respect to you both may God bless you both..
Thank you two for your service. Those kids need people like yourselves !
I foster 2 kids with my wife im thankful what you and your wife does for foster children
Thank you for what you do❤
You guys rock and should be so proud of what you have done to help kids in need !! Your channel is the best there is out there..
Much respect. My GF has worked in CPS for many years and I def can see how it takes over your life, and the things they see is just carzy.
