Clearveiw pioneer, been fitting them for 30 years, i know they are old, but the stoves fitted 20 years ago will probably out live the new stoves now. Contura 810, i4 inset. Parkray aspect another good shout.

Yea I like those, but they have a better fitting in some of the other categories that I will be releasing over the next few weeks.

Obviously I haven't tried them all! We have an Aspect 5 for two years that was recommended? Sometimes like tonight (frost last night), I didn't light it until 8pm for a short warm up and a focus, sometimes I light it in the morning and run it all day and it's still hot the following morning. So it's short and long if you get my meaning.
For a just a little bit of effort my gas bill is less than a 1/5 of what it was and my wood bill (kiln dried and the man stacks it) is about 1/3 of my previous gas bill in the winter months. So quids in. 4 bed detached? I have a small fan on a timer that blows the warm air around the rest of the house BTW.
Everybody that visits my house always says how warm it is.

Sounds great. This was an “evening use” judgement, there will be other topics and the Aspect definitely has its place in some of the others too.

You have never mentioned the salamander hobbit stove, is this because you don’t rate it……?

I have seen one, but not used it so far.
