This joker is gonna get hellcat swapped as soon as it rolls off the lot
Don't downgrade the inline 6 just yet. Embrace the twin turbskies
Bro if they drop that big hurricane, you will be removing a 800hp and up motor for a 700hp motor?
That’s what I’m thinking too! 😆
Direct Connection's BUILT 6 couldn't even run with old school shade tree built F-body!
Ditch the Shit Six.
Never heard anyone refer to a car as a joker before 🤣
I knew Dodge couldn't stay away from gas-powered engines! Great info Stef!
Yep and is V6 is going to be crappy and it's not going to work as well purposes will not stand up to the test of time
@@godofdestructiondiecast6756 Sad...
@@godofdestructiondiecast6756 gonna be I6 no V6.
@gt-rgaming9452 it don't matter it's still going to be crappy ass engine it's going to have a lot of problems especially hooked up to a turbocharger forced induction is never good for an engine especially something like a V6 or 4-cylinder and then people going driving this car like a maniac so that V6 definitely not going I'm going to stay in the test of time
@@kevinjett1120 do you know what's even crazy Toyota came out with a twin-turbo V6 and they having problems with that what are you talking about Toyota I can only imagine what the problem is they going to have with that engine
Dodge needed to make an high powered AWD for some time now. Traction is king when it comes to winning a race and daily driving. Imagine a DOHC AWD hemi powering a new hellcat.
AWD in a Muscle car? no thanks. I want to drive the car not the car drive me.
Dodge is so competitive..I remember when mopar dropped the return of the hemi V8 in 2005..I watched all these car companies scramble in fear and quickly upped their HP...340hp was some what unheard in a 4 door sedan back then..alot of companies even copied the loud colors..for ex:sublime green, destroyer gray, smoke show gray, hemi orange, plum crazy, etc...😅..P.S. the M5s and the AMGs were an exception..they were damn near like a race car which you expected to have high HP...340hp was alot for the average 4 door sedan back then.
2003 with the ram 1500 thunder road
@@clodge5196 oooo yes yes..I totally forgot
*AMG
2006 M5 had 500HP V10
@rocavelli20 yes indeed...I had that M5 and it was one of the worst ever..that and my 2003 745i sport..omg..thats when BMW was testing things out and we were the actual test dummies...lol
Keep making content my brother I love cars and anything that has something to do with cars. Haven’t had the opportunity to build anything yet but I got something I’m about to make my project.
the concept looked a lot better :(
You actually liked that thing?

Milo’s in the house!!!! First✊🏿💯🏁🏁 200k subs. Congratulations homie. Always Watching. ✊🏿💯💯. Always Supporting..🏁🏁 . That charger is gonna be dope
Milooooo
I promise you they're bringing some type of new v8 soon..there's just no way they wouldn't. Especially to compete with Ford and GM
Those were some good points to highlight about the possibilities of this vehicle; it certainly paints this picture to be more interesting for Dodge fans. Great video once again Mod2Fame!
Congrats on the 200k. Going up to 500 then 1 Mil. Let’s get it modsquad. He is always right with the predictions like a Paul heyman. My guy Mod2fame. It’s a inline 6 not a v6 I thought?
It's a inline
Great video..... dodge isnt dead, its sitting in my garage for years to come
Looks like a 90's version of the last gen charger
im glad you put the video out, i keep telling folks that wasnt the ev banshee version.
Awesome video bro!!!
Butter Da great called it
Not to mention, the added instant torque of the electric motors of the hybrid model
Mod2fam it been a minute. Good info
Great info and video bro! Looking forward to the release of this new charger.
Mod2Fame Friend keep up the great work 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Yo Steph I get it, but it ain't for me. I started off with a 4cl as a teenager then a v6. But once I got that V8 I fell in love with the sound and power! I rather sound good and go slower than the loud whine. If anything I would want to go up to a v10 or v12. That's just not my lane but I know you will make it look and sound good. But I must admit I'm feeling the all wheel drive of any car or suv with power!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome we still need that charger sedan prototype to be realease too
Not bad, and thats just a first, plain version. Could it be...hope? Good video dude
I think they should include a 4.0L inline 6 TT Hurricane for heavy duty applications. Like for 2500 and 3500 pickups and maybe a new Viper.
idk about the 2500 and 3500 because they don't have the same requirements for their engines unless you get the cummins, also RAM is an entirely seperate company from Dodge so I think they'll be able to keep the V8s in their heavy duty applications. A new 800hp twin turbo Dodge Viper would be sick af if they can figure out how to make the design look like the old ones but have side curtain airbags to meet the requirement which caused them to be discontinued back in 2016-2018
Listen to the Mercedes TT6. It still has a fairly low rumble. The possible sound might surprise some folks!!
This is what the charger should’ve looked like from the beginning, that 4 door could’ve been the LTX! Owned a 1973 Charger the thing only had 2 doors! 😆
The Hell you talking about. Compared to a Widebody hellcat the new charger has terrible design language it looks bad from every single angle.
about time they made all drive but they should make a option to make rwd on the dash setting like bmw
1:24 also it has a cutout for the gas door where you fuel up
That could be a door for either or
The question is, will they come stock with Pirelli P Zeros lol
I mean, it still looks better than the fugly mustang with the iPad dash 😂
Looks like a 1998-2004 dodge intrepid
I thought it closer to the charger concept from around that time, which was in Midnight Club 3
This doesnt look bad in my opinion, if they offer it in convertible and offer a gas engine option this could do quite well, especially if they keep it affordable.
A convertible would be great
tim said it was the last hemi L platform he didn't say the end of dodge.....which I took as a completely remodel of the charger/challenger
Hoping no electrical issues on the early models unlike these s650 chances are early model years will tho
Honestly the design doesn’t look that bad I like that they did change the headlights and tail lights
I’m just curious if the charger is going to be the only muscle car from dodge or if they are going to have a companion car like the old charger challenger tag team
Hopefully all that performance isn’t hindered by unnecessary weight!
I know we all love the Hemi, and the sound they offer, but I think alot of people are sleeping on how fast the Hurricane engine really is. This engine weighs less than the Hemi, and is going in a all new lighter chassis that will be offered with all-wheel drive. This car will out preform scatpacks and hellcats, not only in the straight line, but also in the handling department.
I don’t want a small body 4 door . I want a big body 4 door .
It hustles that big old Grand Wagoneer around with some authority, For those who do not know the GW Weighs in at 5,900lbs to 6,200lbs. So if the Charger even eclipses the 4,000lbs mark its will be a forced to be reckoned with in stock form give the aftermarket a couple years and a whole new world is at your foot !!!
Convince us all you want, this won't sell like the Challenger sold mark my words.
@@bmartin863except this car is a 2 door
@@bmartin863 I feel your pain.
Im wanting on the ss trailblazer to bad its eclectic but might be good going to have to have charge machine at the track😅
Swapped out for V8 . Watch 💯💀
If its AWD I can't wait to see how they get that awd drive system to work under hemi torque & still be low/sleek enough and not look like a Tonka truck on a lift and not break the factory couldn't do it.😂
Guess you forgot about the all wheel drive hemi 300s and chargers
@@mrtennessee1988 they only ever put um on the 5.7 and they all look like 4x4s. I hope this a completely new awd system they never hooked the system up to a 392 or the Hellcat or the 2dr the concept the Sema Challenger doesn't count , the ride height difference is noticeable. We'll see it's gonna be headache for whoever takes it on.
2 door charger? Inline 6? Possible manual transmission options that I’ve heard through other people? Are we about to be living in the 70s again?! I’m stoked. Might actually buy my first new car.
That sounds like a cool car.
It doesn't have the correct logo to be the gas version. Dodge plainy said the gas versions going forward will have the other logo (see the hornet for reference)
Maybe a hybrid? 🤔
@jugerknott09 yes , if I remember correctly the hybrid versions of the hornet also use the gas logo, only fully electric use the other .
Still need and want 4 doors though...but I can see them adding this option. Ready for an official Dodge marketing commercial of this thang though 🤔
The Charger needs to be two door, by a 23 if you want four door.
@@JasonRothschild-yf6sd still think they need a 4 door option. It sold very well.
It's not a leak when the company themselves posts the photos lol
Yeah Company released photos is not a leak 😂😂
Your 800whp prediction is pretty damn close. Think about it: Dodge is currently working on a 1000hp I6 crate engine, and they have claimed the hurricane HO as it sits can handle 1000hp, so your 800whp is dead on with the 20% drive train loss!
What if they did rear drive HO hurricane with two front electric motors? 510+ 2x80hps? Torque vector beast....
@Mod2fame loved this video man
Question? Why still look over the pentastar engine?
How long until someone hemi swaps it?
Ok dunk life. Let's see you hook it up 😂😂😂
If they have one engine trim, what does that mean for the other trim levels? Will they have the same engine but either tuned up or down?
There's a variation but the hurricane is the highest power output
Hurricane is the class of inline engines. They have different "categories" that designate the horsepower output of each. The Hurricane engine family is not new. They had a 4 cylinder version in the Dodge Darts.
Bro, literally 3 secs with a screen shot from this video and the gallery editor shows there's no exhaust on this car.
This is good stuff
With the epa jumping down manufacturers backs, you really think you'll be able to tune a Mopar I-6.... sadly think not... government and epa are blowing that candle out- sadly 😥
V6 twin turbos haven’t been dominating for years now not surprised
It’s going to be a straight 6 turbo.
Hellcat hooks with proper rubber and a good driver I can't see this 6 winning anymore then first 60ft with awd.
I love the old ones, but AWD is a game changer. If they even made a 392 AWD it was game over.
You mean like the 392 Durango
Sir you was 100% correct!!
Interesting 👏🏿👍🏿
I would be so quick to rule out manual transmission, apparently there’s talks about it actually being an option due to the fact Mustangs still have them and the new charger will be in the same market class with it
I wonder if it’s based off the alfa romeo giulia platform
It’s either gotta be light, or heavy enough to hook up hard. Think Bentley minus the impractical heavy shit like wood and crystal.
I just can’t accept the sound of a Honda, bmw, Infiniti type sound coming out of w CHARGER 😭
Bra that shit looks like the bravado in GTA v 😂
They should do a 426 and 440 edition.
It’ll be hellcat swapped 30 minutes after it’s release
😮🔥🔥🔥
1999 Dodge Charger Concept. See pictures of the rear and rear and rear quarter panel. Dodge never gave up on using the design inspiration of this concept car.
I always loved that concept and waited years for it, even with it being a four door. I agree with you, that a lot of its styling was used for this new design. I won't commit until its got a Hemi in it though. There's always someone or something better waiting in the wings but, I still love my slower V8.
@@food-uc4sm There's a humor Dodge is working on a new more fuel efficient V8. Let's remain hopeful it gets green lit.
Let’s see 😊
If you can run split headers on it it will sound better then a v8 but that's a big IF. My brother had a straight 6 with split headers an everybody thought it was a v8
I feel the same set up as the Chrysler 200 all-wheel drive
Is all wheel drive a good thing?
It’s definitely not… as awesome as AWD is it really takes away character and “fun” factor. My DDHC hooks up and always has traction but it’s also much slower than it would be as a RWD and less “fun” as well.
Or you could deduce that that gas tank door on the driver side rear is what it is....
It looks like the all new Mitsubishi Galant coupe. The twin turbo inline 6 will be a good engine though, I can see people getting big power out of these, unlike the Scat where it takes loads of money, labor, etc.
From my understanding the Hurricane engine is an I6, not a V6.
I’m sure you think you know, but that front emblem is not Dodge is Plymouth 🤔
The gas and electric should look the same (at least from the outside), except for the grill and exhaust.
Do we think they’ll do a 4 door version? 🤔 I think they’d be missing a huge sales opportunity. Praying it has a manual though
Why do a four door when the original chargers were coupes in the mid 60s to early 70s just my opinion.
They have to attempt to appease the new mopar ppl that came after F&F Movies & Hip Hop noticed hellcats, the lookin for a 4dr climbing in back seats is not cool.
@@mrtennessee1988 Because money
@@mrtennessee1988 because it ain't the 70s no more.. People wanna haul kid and soccer balls FAST
@@mrtennessee1988 not the mid 60s 70s anymore. I'm not upgrading to something with lesser space. Good luck fitting people or big boxes in the backseat of that shit comfortably whenever. Still have to fold down seat before someone else can get in and out the backseat? Pass, not for me
Yep. The trans tunnel was a dead gave away…. Helliphant engine needed
Hybrid i6 sxt, Hemi rt, TTi6 srt in that order. Something for everyone.
I’d give it a few years but I see 1000 whp awd cars
If Direct Connection's 6cyl twin turbo drag pack Challenger was a total embarrassment that couldn't out gun a 98 LS F-body........how is this going to be better?
I told y’all it’s a Nissan or a Toyota engine
It ain’t a charger no more it’s bmw
No it’s not going to put hell cats to shame a hell cat is 700 horsepower
SWAP…NEED I SAY MORE‼️🫵🏾🤷🏾♂️
Charger or challenger?
I actually like this charger more than the charger Daytona concept but I still cant get over the fact that there is no V8, If I were to buy this then it would be to drop a hemi inside be it a 5.7 or something bigger.
If you look closely at the bumper it say Daytona.
im mad bring back the 6.2
Call me crazy but I think I would rather have the EV over a 6 cylinder. It should be the v8 rumble or no sound at all
I'm thinking the I6 is testing out the new architecture for the future V8.
Small displacement twin turbo V8. Pushing 26 PSI on premium fuel. 4L twin turbo right about 700hp, and that's if they go with a 4L
Some of the fastest cars in the world are TT 6.. What are you talking about?
6 cylinders are cool in the type of car they belong in, not this car.
@@FrequencyOfThought I hate when people bring up "worlds fastest" while yes its true to an extent (or class of racing)
We are talking OEM side of the spectrum. Because 99% of the people are not going to drop $100k for a 2500hp engine swap, not including a transmission, you'd have to get to handle that power, turbos to produce that power, fueling, etc etc etc.
In that same argument, why not use a top fuel engine to compare a top fuel dragster engine? It makes 12,000hp, since you know we are not looking at the practically or finicial side of things.
I'm more interested in what a OEM platform can handle with FBO, shoot I'd even consider upgraded turbos or supercharger a FBO.
And I think this has to be a very important thing people start talking about because 99% of the people talking about the top dogs in the GTR world can't even afford a GTR let alone afford what it takes to build one to that standard.
TLDR; we need to be more distinctive between a race car and a fast car
@@leopapio683 yawn, all these v8 nut swingers
Idk man,,, Dodge did specifically say they are launching with the Daytona ev,, they said the fratzog logo is specifically for the EV. The Daytona is an EV only and the back of the bumper Swiss Daytona…. And they aren’t making a twin turbo v6, it’s a twin turbo inline 6
I came back to this video to comment. Hennessey just copied steph using a demon 170. I literally seen no other twin turbo hellcats and above outside of M2Fs.. this is a marketing plan Hennessey charging a 💰.
I’d love to get the category 3 AWD and build one of them. Damn that will be a quick SOB.
So they basically brought back the charger rt max awd huh lol
Im still happy with my 23 jailbreak hellcat and will not be switching up
I herd this one will be unstealable, Great job Dodge!
Nothing is unstealable, they are lying to you.
Looks cool just missing two cylinders, come on Stellantis make a muscle car again!!🇺🇸🇺🇸
They can't and it's not their choice it's the government
Ugh yes they can lol v8s are still made all over the world, including USA, see 5.0!
@gbitsbitsg5447 ya it's days are numbered watch and see
I don't disagree my man, if it's too much fun, the fun police come out full force!
What I tell you guys 2 years ago!! They are not stopping gas charger and challengers nobody listen watch and they are gonna have a hybrid awd with 800hp combined
I dont care about sound anymore. Just throw a Borla A-TAK exhaust on it.
Looks good reliability will be far worse tho
Inline six not v6. Just look at what the BMW guys are getting out of their turbo inline sixes. Looks like dodge's engines make similar power stock. If the engines are built strong they will be capable of a lot of power probably. Hopefully forged internals and closed deck block
