I see your using the canning wax in ur comp are u subbing that for the Vaseline that I've seen in recipes? What's the purpose of the comp at the top of the rocket that's not pressed. Sorry if it's a dumb question. Just trying to understand things. Plus I'm very new to this as stated in an earlier comment. I'm trying to gain & grasp as much knowledge as I can from u guys that have been doing this awhile. I spoke to Ned like you'd mentioned & I'm interested in getting some stuff to try & follow along with his fireworking tutorials & don't really know where to begin. It looks like fireworks cookbook is out of the starter kit to follow along. I know u guys sell a lot of stuff do u have a kit too? That'll get me through his 101 classes. Let me know. Thanks for sharing as always
I have a question I’ve also bought tons on different tooling from you why did you say you got lucky folding fuse I’ve been doing that for a little while and haven’t had a problem? Should I be drilling fuse holes threw the side instead?
That’s why Vaseline/Mineral oil/or paraffin wax is integrated into the comp. It acts as a lubricant, helps the fuel consolidate, and desensitizes the mix to a not as sensitive state, BUT STILL DEMANDS THE UTMOST RESPECT. No beating/hammering only pressing.
Sorry out of topic. Is it safe by pressing al+kclo3/kclo4 flash powder comp like whistle fuel??? Pressing with arbor or something similar machine, not ramming it.
@@jessies1509 Well, it can be dangerous or risky depending on the nature of the flash composition’s formula. Though, if you know what you’re doing and take all the necessary precautions, flash powder can be pressed safely to achieve a higher density, and thus, higher performance.
Thanks Caleb, looking forward to using my new tooling!
