Dr my Dr prescribed bone scan NAF I have psoriasis history. Almost controlled now. ankylosing spondylitis, over time, the inflammation in the joints and tissues of the spine caused stiffness. , this caused the vertebrae (bones in the spine) upper just below hr next to fuse (grow together). For this and and also other aspects Dr suggested for pet ct bone NAF .is this required (my age 50) please suggest thank you Laks
Good presentation, however you have focused more on explaining possible side effects of scanning/ concerns of patients regarding radioactive material rather what DEXA scanning reveals
If you wear a Dexcom meter for your diabetic reading take it off. Also get a geiger counter to read the high levels of raditation. I got sick diarrhea throw up etc.
I have to do this soon because of the pain of my lower back to buttock. But I'm worry to lay down. Because I can't lay down for the pain it's so difficult and hurt for me.

This is something you should discuss with your doctor, but it's not a contra-indication.

no my Geiger counter when I came home was off the charts I never touched my animals or birds. Finally next day I am a bit less but got sosick.
