Aaron Trainor I know that, what I meant is the Abbott brothers founded the band. Vinnie kept the fire burning for Dime, but now both are gone. If a Pantera reunion was impossible with Vinnie here, now we all can just forget about it.
You should ask Rita Haney, Dime's girlfriend. She has the entire catalog of all the albums that she got after Vinnie's death. Rex Brown, for example, is for reissuing albums and calls for this, Phil probably doesn't mind either. 35-40 years have passed since the release of albums, hate to glam has long been in the past 20 years.
Man, what this band could of been compared to what they turned into. I cant really listen to anything past Cowboys. After that it just got all Im so tough bro groove bullshit. I mean a few good songs here and there of course but not like these old ones.
Vallalah was the type of stuff which amorced what came on the next 3 albums . You dont hear the drums , riffs ? Put phil on thoses riffs , this is the same than CFH
I Am The Night is one of Pantera's best albums, period.
power metal I felt was better.
this was glamteras best. power metal was the bridge of lead singers that changed it all.
Fuck ya love the speed and thrash
..
@@twoo57 totally agree with you - Power Metal was their best LP PERIOD IMO
I'm gonna say it's in their best 3 albums. The other two being Power Metal and of course Cowboys from Hell.
Dimebag was a solid guitar player even in his early teens
He was better than 95% of the population in his teens. Dime is a god
Back when he went by “Diamond Darrell”.
This is so heavy!!! The roots of 90s Pantera are clearly audible, this sounds really nothing like glam contrary to what many people think!
Speed metal
@@madq5014 more like Metal, speed Metal is faster
Sounds like "antichrist" on Slayer's first album with that opening riff.
That's exactly what I was going to say. The drumming also reminds me of a Kiss song called I'm Alive, from their 1985 Asylum album.
I first thought "the mechanix"
Metal Militia uses about the same notes
RIP Vinnie, Dime and Pantera
Psycho Machinery The Band broke up a year b4 dime died

Best 80s album and power metal
Imagine this song but with Phil, think he would nail the VALHALLA!!
Yeah most of this album and Power Metal should've been played more in the 90s it suited the band and Phils vocal style well before, Vulgar dropped
Sounds like Accept. Dime adored this gorgeous band.
I finally completed my collection of Pantera albums, I have all 9!
Good job Padawan. Good job.
Why isn't Pantera's glam albums on Spotify?
Pantera owns them not WARNER MUSIC GROUP

So this is when they started edging away from the glam stuff and into the heavier stuff.
There is a place
where every man who falls
in battle surely will go
and in this place
lives a God
who is their Lord
one of knowledge
who surely knows
love all 4 pre-CFH i just wish they would all 4 be re-issued on CD
First Valhallaaaaaaaaa! at 0:57
Wow this is fantastic, Pantera make a different style on I Am The Night album🤘🏻🔥
Speed Metal
Til Valhall, everyone.
This band was a machine.
If I didn't know it was Pantera ( which I would have picked up on from the squeels alone ) . I'd say this song is excellent Speed Metal !
Man, this ain't glam. Heavy metal.. Very fine heavy metal at that
Exactly
Glam is a clothing style (if you ask me the best one ...the music is heavy metal!!!!
This whole album kicks ass!!!
Glam é só um estilo, não "gênero musical" como pessoal diz. Tipo, poison tem características de hard rock e blues rock, glam é visual.
Reminds me of Live Wire by the Crue.
Different from Blind Guardian's "Valhalla", but still very good!
This song is amazing!
(10/10)
American Power Metal!
Awesome
Valhalla!!!!
This solo fucks me up. JEEPERS that’s insane
i feel like this song isn't mentioned enough
Ultra Heavy Metal!!!s2
If anybody wants to wake me up play this song
Que grande fue dimebag!
Open Da gates Valhalla awaits...
Shit, I love this song!!
Valhalla

Horseshit. Far beyond driven and the great southern trendkill are great. And in fact, there are only a few songs with the "im so tough bro groove bs".
@@neonknight-1522 like I said....a few good songs here and there.
@@jamesnagel6264 Which songs are the good ones
Cowboys was the first tough bro album
Def reminds me of Shattered
FUCKING MASTERPIECE!
f*******k yeaaaaa' ! |m| ♫♪
Amon who? Hahaha it started years before.
Someone should do this whole album with a Phil Anselmo AI Voice lifted off of Cowboys from Hell or Power Metal...😂
You can tell Darrell was bitten by the Metallica bug on this song.
🤘🏻
This is like Judas Priest on acid, coke, meth extacy and skunk weed!
