Just wanted to add that echosabre is really good not only for the reasons taht u lsited but also bc in general u want to buy all of the components : Ogre axe for bkb/aghs and oblivion staff for bloodthron whch is an amazing spectre item (tankiness, dmg, free silence on backlines, mana regen...) so it always seems pretty natural to uild echosare on the hero.
how can i survive silver edge, any tips ? and my itemization for her is clueless

echosabre isnt a natural build yet and we can all agree blademail gives alot than echosabre in terms of farming or fighting he still go for rad its just he is a top player + enemy support has pa. imagine if the qop isnt beyond godlike lol shit will happens for sure. bloodthorn is situational build and ogre axe is just 10 str when u can have +7 armor and 18 dmg on bm. yes u can build echo but i wouldn recommend it as a natural build unless they make a build that fits echosabre in midgame to late game.
@@thecrystalblue23 Spec thrives when fights are already started and when you are doing clean ups. Do not jump those heroes that can jump you, aim for low hp cores or supports. Early game, bring a dust or two for glimmer. In late game you want to disassemble Radiance to nullifier and butterly. By this time, you should be the strongest hero in the map and wouldn't care about break and jump any hero that pushes the lane

Before they changed spect ult on aghs i always built 1st item echo on spec > manta > diassemble the echo into aghs. But new spect not really needs aghs anymore and i prefer for manta and diffusal blade
Speeed , A quick comment , Essence shift dosnt take 3 agilty , When ever slark hit he gain 3 agility but the enemy lose 1 per attribute which means , specter lost 10 agilty , 10 strength , 10 intelligent, slark gained 30 agilty from her .
Spectre is super good at punishing that greedy support pushing the wave just a little to far in the mid game.
Imo blade mail is very good to speed up your farm as it melts the harder camps.
Also she is really tanky in the lane and regens very well, spectre has been my second favourite hero since I started playing.
Very fun hero to play, farm farm farm, join fight with ult, repeat.
What is this, 2015? Spectre and Urn. ah that takes me back. I always make diffusal since its the fastest team fight item with good value for Spectre. Extra damage and slows, and the most important, eat support heroes like no tomorrow.
Haunt, and throw the urn+dagger, and follow the trail, and thats it. Even invi hero dies get burned by radiance. You even can gets back to your farm if some of the duration still left.
You can go agh and diffusal to play the old style. Blasting people with huge damage ult. Nastiest initiator skill in the whole game ever. The thing is, Silencer is no longer counter for the agh, since you can have the ult.
If you are in low MMR, which have less proper support to farm, and less clash to assist. you need to skip treads and just go with the brown boots. Just go to Urn and rush for Radiance as quick as you can. minute 25 will be the slowest, more than that, you better skip radiance since many heroes already tanky, and go for Manta. Radiance here is just like BF and midas, which is a farming items. doubled with the nature of Radiance, which is a good fighting item.
Also, at present time, Radiance can be disassembled. So, you can use Butterfly and Nullifier. Which is a further more support heroes killing tools, and an overall a good late game items.
The utility of Spectre in the team is the tool to force the enemy team to group up. Making them more vulnerable to split pushing strat. NP, Brood, Clinks, Weaver, or many other split pushers will be a good heroes to party up and do some combo. If one hero try to intercept the tower pusher, you jump in and gank him 2v1. If more TP coming, then you already force the enemy response.
This will also rack up many MMR since lower MMR players just cant group up nor properly counter split pushers. Basically a free win in many lower MMR.
Late game should we dissassemble the radiance for the nullifier and then go for a butterfly?
Depends what you are facing and what items enemy team has. if you're facing supports with items such as forcestaff/glimmers/ghost scepters/euls/aeon disks or enemies such as necro/slark/abaddon/windranger just to name a few then I would advise to split it earlier. As for picking up butterfly could be really good if you're ahead and you see the enemy carry building something that doesn't counters butterfly then yeah go for it. But Spectre is a very flexible hero which is why I like her so much. You can dominate lategame in so many different ways with the hero.
9:01 how did spec illusion died at bot went out so fast?doesnt it stay for 5 to 4 secs?

blade mail is must for this game enemy have slark PA primal beast even axe they will kill themself if they attacked you combine with his third skill. and as a carry if going down take 4 enemy with you its good result.
The baller build you go in low mmr like me is treads>diff>bfly>aghs>bfly>badly and if it’s a hard game you replace on butterfly with a manta
Going blademail on spectre has given me great success. It makes you take far less damage from neutrals because of the armour. Also I max dispersion first and it gets very easy to farm with blademail. It also works well with kills.

herald here. wanna ask, i always watch a spectre game where they always build bm first. but i dont really get how the damages work with bm and dispersion. i sometimes see after the haunt jump at enemy support they always activated the bm eventhough the target just run or doesnt fight back and its still does damage overtime (radiance not built yet at this time of the game, so def not radiance). can u tell me how can it work like that? or am i just not seeing everything clearly?
@@rivieru1232 they build bm first to accelerate farm since bm gives return damage passively as well so along with dispersion it makes u kill creeps faster.About activating bm always when haunting is just to ensure the kill if u don’t activate bm ur enemy easily can use all his spells on u and with any allies near they could kill u on the contrary if u activate ur bm ur enemy won’t use his spell because they get damage return which is worse for him. All he can do is run and try to escape that’s why u see them just running.
U only need dispersion level 1 unless u gettin owned

urn may be good but by the time you'd have urn you could have blade mail and be on your way to boots. I'd only go urn if you could get it sub 5 minutes. Also lane equilibrium is key deny and win cs and you'll win also pull past tower and let enemy creep attack your creep. You can play possum hardcore with spec. Also dont sleep on bash and manta chain stun is fun plus free rosh.

I find that the main thing spec needs are a vanguard and as much armor as you can stack. Get enough going and carries just splatter themselves on her. =)
if the other team ignores spec she cant help her team with tanky items. + shes naturally tanky so no need to stack it further. she really needs offensive items to be a threat

Try laning and leveling spec around pickoffs at 6. Don't bother with dispersion till your ultimate is on cd. Same urn build, with 2nd item diff. If it's a good lane, skip the urn. The moment you hit 6, you can kill anything thats solo (from full hp) as you have mad damage from 2/3 levels in desolate and the slow from dagger, possibly even a diff already if you're a laning God.
Why do you always wait to see some pro do something? Do it yourself. Lead the pack. You have correctly placed spec as a fighting carry and even see the potential to snowball it. Why not just go all the way and tell us to really make it "broken"? Lol.. oh wait... that's 2 more potential videos right? OK, nevermind. I get it. Keep up the good work. 🙏🏻

I still think spectre is supposed to be a 2 in this patch and our old way of thinking is getting in the way. 2 or even offlane. Everything speed says here describes an offlane hero. Active fighter. Shows on waves because they dont farm camps fast. Tankiness isolating supports in fights and leaving the cores to 1 and mid. Like dawn legion ns centaur.
spec in lane is too weak to be a 2 or 3 period

I have tested the trade outs on base damage, regen, etc. He literally has a spell that reflects damage like centaur but also blocks the incoming damage. Buy a vanguard on it in offlane which would build into abyssmal later anyway. Go urn after boots. Have a strong 4. I have also played it mid and it doesnt really have that hard a time if you work your lane agro well get a bottle and then go treads into vessel. Like i guess maybe higher mmr than me may get punished harder. But in this patch where the top tier 1s are usually those that disappear to jungle for 15 minutes after lane spec just doesnt fit the meta. Where as scaling offlanes does fit well. And mid melee heroes who buy blademail and jump on people regularly are also in
@@brandonhurley8983 yes but spectres is percentage based on the damage done which is significantly lower in lane and his main damage spell being desolate is nearly useless in lane as you have to basically kill all the creeps and spectral dagger sucks at clearing waves
Problem for spectre as a position 2 is that she does not clear waves fast enough. Her first skill, also takes way too much mana to clear creeps or even harass. Spectre is a carry through and through, she "brawls", yet she also needs to take space to farm and scale. Try to take space from your pos 1 as a pos 2 spectre, unless your team coordinate like gods, your game should fall apart pretty easily. I would imagine that this would work in low mmr brackets where people still split apart when Spectre has her ult up, but in games where people coordinate and play together based on objectives, spectre mid will 99% of the time gets choked and die out. If we can somehow solve or circumvent these problems, then we might have a midlaner, then yeah. I'd imagine a KOTL or Nyx supp would definitely be good supports for this to work.
@@stop.me.7395 first point that hasnt been just bad laner. Yeah thats fair. I think it would definitely be a draft based pick. If you have a nyx or a bounty 4 or a treant protector 5. Someone who can scout. Also i think the slow wave clear can be dealt with by a blademail. Not brcause it speeds up the clear but. Any hero who does meed to show on waves that can carry a blademail prevents agression a bit. And far from the typical play away fro your team and ult in i think spectre keeps close to the supports as a 2 and reality rift to turn 2 or 3 on 1 gank attempts on the 1.
You are right it works better in low brackets probably or in high brackets with correct coordination.

I have been saying this since the patch. Valve wants spectre as a mid. Eveything speed says in this video screams mid. Farms lane creeps hates camps. Fights and gets active at 6. Largely benefits from being ahead. Even the urn purchase.

Sure, but I don't think Spectre can survive to 6 in mid without a support.
@@nonsansdroit3800 i have played it a few times. And i dont see why not. 203 build . Dispersion offsets 15 percent of damage taken in trades you get a bottle like any other mid. The only real important thing is controlling the lane so you habe favourable positioning which is what every mid needs to do.

my all time favorite build on spec is:
threads
blade mail , farm jungle super easy
radiance/bloodthorn depending on the enemy
manta immediate ulti kills on any hero
skadi
heart/abyssal/butterfly depending on the enemy
Urn spectre is already exist decades ago. This is an old build, and getting renewed. There is an uptick in Spectre use and winrate on the last patch. Which the patch that reduce her ult cooldown. This renewed build is built out of that patch.
Urn is really cheap for its use, you can sell it without too much setback. and Radiance can be dissasembled to be Butterfly and Nullifier.
High MMR games usually rotate in early fight and snowball from there. So, the AFK farmer Spectre getting more gold this way while still farming. The last meta spectre is getting obsolete with the nerfs on old stuff, and newly buffed area make the spectre adapt this style.
I mean, 60 cooldown is just nasty. Simply ult, dagger+urn, and goes back to farm if some of the ult duration still left.
Lower MMR might give enough time to go farm those items you mentioned. But to be able active with the team in minute 5 to 10, you can not go far with a mere tread+BM. You cant fight the early fights. Which is usually a high MMR favorite gameplay.
