The legendary drummer at age 80 had visited my studio in Kure, Hiroshima for the second time following last year.
We did various settings like percussion duo, Piano and percussion, full and percussion . etc.
Sabu-san has been forefront of improvisational music, He has album with Derek Bailey, Peter Brötzman, Misha Mengelberg, Fred Van Hove. Mototeru Takagi, Toshinori Kondo, and more and more. And in the 70`s He became the only non American member of Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) in Chicago.

Masashi Harada had been in hiatus from the creative music for sometime but he has various recordings with luminary like Joe and Mat Maneri, Cecil Taylor, Barre Philips, Malcolm Goldstein. As multi instrumentalist he plays piano, percussion , flute and voice. and As a conductor for improvised music he coined the term called Condanction( Conducting, dance, improvisation) and has two albums from EMANEM desk. Various album released under his name from. Emanem, Cadence, CIMP, Leo, and Chchlear. He is also renown visual artist and a Jazz vocalist
