Thank you for a fantastic video on this real classic Pinball last year I saved a 1973 classic Pinball machine was totally dead it's a zaccaria made in Italy under licence from bally Williams the field paint work is in first class condition ball and all contacts corrode as its solid state machine not many like to repair them so we found a repair man in Australia who had the cards and fully repaired them the rubbers are all replaced plus bulbs all the contacts cleaned this game Future world now plays fantastic it's plays great as the feild is highly polished the game is very fast great to play it's not every one's favorite but it's a fantastic game a real classic saved from scrap. Enjoy your pinballs just like me love them
Saving and showing off another antique, Thanks Ron. I'm gonna Google it now but if it was a wide known theme at the time a person would need to be like 70 to know it - trippy man.
Oh that's awesome or should I say Classic 🙂 So maybe I'll get a RollerGames arcade for myself some day, lol alas few people now would have any idea what it was.
Looks like another terrific job. Man, those rubbers around those posts behind the drop target, what a pain to get those things up and around the other post. Had the same thing on a Bowling Queen that I bought. The playfield was all taken apart (but that made it easier to clean). But I had to figure out how to put is all back together. Lots of zooming in on low rez pictures on IPDB. Thanks for putting this series of videos together! See you on the next one.
Yeah and the whole time you run the danger of snapping the plastic too because it's the kind that screws down! Thanks for watching Pez, we appreciate it!
Beautiful game. Wish I lived closer I’d be in like every day. Love these old EM games. My first that I remember playing was Slick Chick and I fell in love with pinball then.
I'd love to see this or one of another game after you are done with it make its way to tnt to see what y'all would combined do to it, that to me would be ultimate, you both in your own unique way do great things to preserve and repair these timeless classics, left a Big Thumbs Up!!!!! Btw, you did a super job on this it looks amazing, the colors are so brilliant and the detail, along with the description
Todd actually has one of our games right now, we did a video on a dedicated 1 slot Neo Geo game, a guy bought it and wanted it to look better cosmetically (which we don't really do much of) so he sent it to Todd! Todd showed it in a video about 6 weeks or so ago, I'm not sure if he ever got it finished or filmed any more of it. We're doing a video on a Skateball pinball machine in a couple weeks and talk about Todd a little bit, don't tell him :) Thanks for watching man, we appreciate it.
I'll admit I'm most impressed by the condition of the backglass on this thing, given the state of so many others you've worked on here. All the closeups you've done and I can't see any visible flaking. Sure the colors have faded, but the only way to avoid that is to keep the whole thing wrapped up and unplayed, and what good is a pinball machine if you're not playing it?
Yeah the backglass was nice, there are a few minor spots where it has minor damage, but all in all it has held up very nicely. It likely was kept in a temperature controlled environment most of it's life. People believe the damage comes from the bulbs, but really it's from the heat/cold of storage all these years.
The first pinball with flippers was Gottlieb's "Humpty Dumpty", which came out in 1947. The first one with flippers as we know them today was "Sport Bowler, another Gottlieb game which came out in 1950.
Someone else can stencil the side panels.. or paint it free hand... Personally I'd accept the solid two tone panels as being an improvement on the all white.
Jackrabbits are mammals in the same family as rabbits. All Jackrabbits are hares. The word jackrabbit comes from a book by Mark Twain, in which he describes the creature as a jackass rabbit, on account of the hare's ears looking as though they belonged to a donkey. Later on this term was shortened to jackrabbit. Quoted from wikipedia
I remember an old truck stop in the early 70s in a trip from Albany NY to Niagara falls, and they had a pinball machine with this mechanical type with the lever to lift the ball Had to be 71, maybe 72. It had been there for a long time. Truckers would leave credit on it and balls.
Another great job Ron. That back glass...the woman looks like Natalie Wood. Maybe the artist saw West Side Story in 1961 and used her for the artwork. Also, those little weird guys on the back glass are like nightmare fuel, lol!
That last game, I noticed that player 2 had one point at the end. Since the camera was not on the score reels, don't know when that happened. Awesome machine, though. An old one still soldiering on.
There's an old laundromat near me that has an Adams Family, Jurassic Park, and Fun House. All non working but they appear to be complete. Skipjack Dry Cleaners in Cambridge MD (pretty sure they own the laundromat next door, but not sure). Might be a chance to get a couple rare machines for cheap (if they are willing to sell).
751/5000 Hello Joe, I only recently switched to your channel and subscribed. I'm from Germany and we have a handful of clubs that have nice old pinball machines. Some of your restorations with the Edding were a shock to me. Especially if you have restored these points with a thick black marker in Playflied. Maybe you should use thinner pencils. I like to play equipment new to old. I'm still a friend of arcade machines. Unfortunately there are not many original machines left, what do you think of the MAME project? It is not the original but you always play the game from the archives that you used to know in the takeaways. I wish you all the best and many new video projects.
Hello rk2018 sk2018 ! MAME is pretty cool especially if you can't get an original one easily... we actually use the MAME files when we're replacing Eproms, so it's a big help to us :) Thank you for watching in Germany, we appreciate you checking our videos out! See you on the next one!
@@LyonsArcade Hello Joe, I have been touring very often to clubs in Seligenstadt in Hessen. The association is called "For Amusement Only e.v." And in North Rhine-Westphalia there is an association called "Insert Coin". Such a pinball dealer who calls himself "Freddy's Pinball Paradise". There is also a private bar operator who only owns arcade machines and pinball machines and a private club in Dortmund that is "Shoot Again Flipper Museum Ruhr". I made nice videos of the many clubs. Take a look at this.
It looks to me as if it is a Circus Theme, and the name of the performing group is "Jumpin Jacks" , and they wear Bunny costumes since they are "jupin' around" since rabbits are associated with jumping.
I think that may have been what they were going for, i'm sure there was a little bit of a 'playboy' vibe there too, I think playboy came out in the mid 50's.

Hi guys , just watched video of Jumpin Jack's , no I don't know what the hell there up to , as you say a circus thing perhaps, anyway above the horse on back screen there's a window with 20 in it , what is this for , what's it telling us ?

These machines are works of art in their own right. The lights, sounds and pictures. All rolled into one creation. Unique
Yeah they're really something special!
I think the artist was sniffing the paint. Strange but a heck of a job. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching Steve, we appreciate it!
Watching your channel helped me work on and repair a 1939 Chicago coin EM. Can’t thank y’all enough for this channel!
Very cool Josh, glad it's helping you out, we appreciate you watching!
Not too old for me. Each era is unique and each person has memories from a certain era.
For me, 1983 summer and fall was really awesome.
The whole idea of the artwork on these tables was to be surreal!
Saving and showing off another antique, Thanks Ron. I'm gonna Google it now but if it was a wide known theme at the time a person would need to be like 70 to know it - trippy man.
