Marie-Anne, I never cared for leopard print, I always felt it was a print for younger women. You have changed my mind! You look stunning! I'm going to keep an eye out for one! I LOVE how you styled it for us Apples! Off topic here: I'm leaving for a beach vacation in a few days. My beach cover-up was always an oversized tee and a baseball cap. You inspired me to dress better, I bought a navy and white striped cover up and a wide-brimed straw hat!
A few years ago (before COVID) I was in Paris. The group I was with went out for dinner and a show. I pulled a dressy outfit together with black trousers, a black tank top, and a leopard print cardigan. Simple black shoes and a little jewelry completed the outfit and I was comfortably chic.
Hi, Marie-Anne!! I recently picked up a leopard print sweater top that is of a fitted style, which I’ll pair with many different outfits. Who knew I was ahead of the curve? Love you and your sage advice!
Love the outfit with the trench oat and the black pants with the black and tan sling backs. Lots of outfits to go from work to a nice dinner. Thanks, Marie-Anne.
Love leopard print but I use it in colors that highlight my silver/white hair - black and white, gray and white, even blue or green versions. Most of all I enjoy the fun you have experimenting in your closet and the thrill of discovering a great new outfit that you may not have thought of before. I love doing that too. My wardrobe pieces are like paints to an artist - to create masterpieces!! Thanks for sharing your insights. 💃🏼
I really enjoy watching you work through your thought process in putting together an ensemble. Although I've never been a fan of any animal print clothing, you made that blouse look very elevated and stylish. Well done!
wonderful flow of the blouse worn as a shirt over the turtle neck sweater. No jewelry with the bold print, not even a belt buckle! I love it all. The leopard is the star of this show!
The straight leg jeans with boots and black T with the blouse as jacket is my signature look. I wear variations of this almost daily as weather permits. Also loved the black trousers lunch with the girls (all variations) and then blazer for evening function. I found the skirt outfit too “corporate” for my taste, but it’s also nice. I’d just never wear it out on a date! Thanks for the inspo! 🐆💕
You look so great I hope Carl takes you out for date night! It cracks me up when he (I think he’s your camera person) nods the camera when he’s keen on an outfit!😂I love those Chanel-inspired sling backs! I follow Audrey Coyne and she has the same ones….they appeared today in her essential shoes video. Thanks so much, Marie-Anne😍
I have just bought my first leopard print blouse. I am so excited to wear it. I am waiting until we go out for dinner. you have given me ideas. many thanks
Love the versatile ways you show the leopard shirt. Love it with the jeans. Really cute as a jacket too. I have a couple in my wardrobe. Looking forward to trying these styles
All great outfits Marie-Anne! I would wear the blouse and love it most as a jacket with my jeans or black trousers. I have a black sleeveless turtleneck that fits me very well and looks amazing with my black trousers. I think the leopard print would be an excellent addition. 🥰
I have never really cared for leopard because in the states it one time years ago it was kind of not the chic. thing to wear, I have taking your advice and purchased one and it is absolutely adorable. I plan on going to London next week for a few days it’s just a hop skip and a jump since I’ll do live here in Paris but I plan on wearing it. Thank you so much for making it all 70 year old girl look a little spiffy
I particularly love the shirt loose under the coats! You get a gorgeous hint of the leopard print showing through. I love the Gucci-style shoes on Marie-Anne, but being petite I'd have to wear something that doesn't have a block heel. Don't usually go for prints, but may be converting here. I also love how beautifully it lifts up the black turtleneck whilst streamlining your body at the same time with the light of the shirt against the dark turtleneck and trousers. I think I could get away with this, whereas before I thought a black turtleneck a big NON for me as the colour would be too severe. Mind you, I recently watched Marie-Anne's video of positioning a coloured scarf under a black turtleneck to bring colour to your face, so of course us French Chic Ladies could use this option too!😀
I have loved wearing Leopard 🐆 print clothing all of my adult life. Until recently I had a beautiful Leopard coat which was 26yrs old . But it has gone as it was finally worn out.. still have Leopard print 🐆 shirts, blouse and shoes which I enjoy wearing.... thankyou for refreshing the ways of wearing this print...x
I bought a knee length leopard print soft fitted coat a few years ago. It's a very soft muted print.I am so pleased I did ..I was a bit wary about buying it as I am in my sixties but I love it. I wear it with black or cream roll necks and black jeans or trousers. With a smart pair of black boots and a nice bag..it looks very good. It wasn't expensive either.. but I feel a million dollars in it. Love the shirt but I feel the coat is enough for me. I don't think women need a lot of this print but not to have something in it...they are missing out. This video gives us confidence to wear it. Thanks ..such great ideas..I liked the shirt in all outfits you showed. Very versatile. Given me more ideas for styling my coat!
I LOVE leopard print. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been drawn to it. I have it in many forms, but I don’t wear it all at the same time. Happy to see this!
Marie-Anne, I love this video and enjoy incorporating your suggestions into my wardrobe. You are so very lovely and elegant - inside and out. Thank you for sharing these tips!
I love all the outfits and I just ordered the shirt! This particular print does suit me. I have neutral to warm undertones but very fair with auburn hair. I like how you paired the black turtleneck and t-shirt underneath the blouse. Black doesn't suit me, so I would opt for ivory or camel; that would be my variant. I also think this blouse would look lovely with ecru colored trousers or jeans!
Marie-Anne. Thank you for all your advice and it’s done with such style and humour!!! Have sorted out my wardrobe and Voila!!! I now have so many pieces that I’ve put together thanks to you. Merci Beaucoup 👌👏
I love how you styled this leopard print blouse. You look fantastic in all these outfits I doubt I would look good in the animal print blouse next to my face and I don’t look good wearing a blouse as a jacket and I avoid black altogether However I’m going to try leopard print flared leg pants that are in a light weight material and maybe will pair with light blue top I might pair with a nude pumps or nude block heel pump and a camel blazer Date night outfits mystify me. I have to work on it I love how you showed us trying on different jackets and shoes and why it did or didn’t work and if you didn’t have an item that worked it would be a perfect time to put it on the shopping list Hard to believe before I found you Marie Anne I didn’t even realize I was a rectangle and was buying wrong clothes for my shape. It’s a lot of work and it takes time. When I don’t know what to wear I mostly choose a pantsuit with heels can be dressed up with different tops, jewelry, scarves Then the blazers can be worn with a dress, skirt or jeans and the pants can be worn with other tops A navy blazer looks good over tan pants or white But as a you show not all things look right paired together so you have to have a discerning eye. I enjoyed this video very much
Marie-Anne, you were so much fun to watch in this video! I love a leopard print: I have a blouse, a skirt, and I recently bought a pair of shoes. (I don't wear them all together, of course! Lol) I styled the shoes with a slightly cropped jean and a black button-down blouse - with the French tuck, bien sur! Keep spreading joy! ❤️
I have the same items: leopard-spotted pencil skirt from White House Black Market, a crepe leopard-spotted blouse from WHBM, and 4-inch stiletto heels in the leopard print. Don't laugh, but in the 1980s, I wore ALL my zebra-striped items at one time and loved it. I guess young people can get away with it, but now, just one item at a time, please!
As always great video. Love all the outfits, but prefer it with jeans. Love all your shoes, I adore shoes as well they can really change up or down an outfit. 🥰👡👠🥿
I guess I'll be keeping my leopard print blouse. I almost got rid of it a few months ago because I had not worn it in a few years. Glad I held onto it!
Thank you for this illustration of how to style a leopard-spotted blouse. I have a lovely crepe one from White House Black Market. I like your black skirt with the blouse tucked in the best--very stylish.
I purchased a leopard print blouse last year, although it is cotton. I originally bought it with a relaxed pair of jeans and my sneakers. I love the flowy aspect of your blouse. Thanks for the all the style ideas. I will definitely try to use the blouse as a jacket.
Greetings from New York! I have always avoided leopard prints however, you have turned me on to this print! You look stunning in all of your styles today.💝
I've never cared for animal prints but you convinced me to try it out! My favourite outfits are the first two ones with blue jeans and trench - totally my style💙💙 Btw you really enjoy presenting outfits😉
Bravo Marie Anne! Excellent! You are the only person that wears the leopard print attractively. You changed my mind about it. I have seen it so ill fitted in other women. I thought that it was a one way to failure.
I haven’t a blouse like that, but really like the style, fabric and cut. Wearing the leopard print with black trousers was my preference. I really love the two-toned sling backs.
Me too, and now, I am the proud owner of 4-inch stiletto leopard-print pumps that I love to wear! They are so versatile: I wear them with jeans, black pencil skirts, and black slender pants.
I have always avoided animal prints, I have seen too many cheap garments that looked almost sleazy. But, you made this work! Classy, versatile and very wearable! I am going to consider a leopard print addition to my wardrobe. Thanks for expanding my horizons !
I loved all the combinations!!! I liked the leopard blouse with the white better than the black. You looked like a doll modeling the clothes. Enjoy your Sunday. Greetings from Arizona.
I love leopard/animal print, I view it as a neutral, but I try to make sure I keep it simple, as too much all in one outfit isn't flattering to me I feel like it can be too too much. Great tips Marie-Anne!
I read a book that stated All Italian Girls Love Leopard. It’s true in my case. I wear very similar outfits that you shared. Except for the cowboy boots. I don’t have any 😊 Wonderful ideas 💡
Hello Marie-Anne, your joy in trying on the outfit options in this video is wonderful. I felt so good watching you make the leopard print shirt an integrated and fun part of your wardrobe. Thank you for your channel and this episode.
I never thought I'd like leopard print in a long sleeve top, too busy, but Zara created a beautiful non busy print in this one. This is the right one.. Two outfits I especially liked were the the shirt with the white tee, long pants and trench, and then the faux leather skirt with the black (blocked) heels with gold hardware.. I enjoyed this video.
I always like a small touch of red with leopard...red lips, red nails, red bag, ring with coral stone... just one each time, department of the combination and my mood!!!
You are absolutely beautiful and ALWAYS look fabulous! Thank you so very very much for all your videos! You are indeed an inspiration! Take care Kindest regards and best wishes God bless
I broke down and bought a leopard print knit top. I don't wear it often and it's not quite as versatile as a blouse but I am somewhat of trend. I'll have to try putting together some options with the rest of my wardrobe. Thanks for the inspiration.
I used to have a blouse almost exactly like that. It had a subtle gold stripe underneath the pattern. I used to wear it over a black skirt untucked with a gold chain belt for nice days at the office. I have an hourglass figure so this look really worked for me and I used to get a lot of compliments on it. I preferred the look of the black tee under the blouse but the white one also worked. I loved the date night look. It's very similar to the look I'm planning for visiting my Partner on Oct 1. We live in different states so I am going to visit him for the month of October. I hope to really wow him when I walk out of the airport!
I love leopard! I think the colors in it suit me well. I’m not crazy about wearing a shirt as a jacket, just in general. In my community, that’s a favorite style of women far older than you, so it looks aging to me. But the cut and drape of that shirt is so beautiful, I liked every other outfit. I do really love those chunky black heels a lot. Great purchase!
Super video. I love your lessons in styling on a single item. So many insights! I like the black T, not the white. I prefer the trench to the brown coat. And for the last outfit, how about a wool wrap instead of the jacket? The shoes though!!!! Bravo! Thank you Marie Anne!
My favorite outfit was the white t-shirt under the leopard shirt with the jeans; especially with the cowboy boots. The turtleneck outfit was also great, and the dinner look was very chic, even though I'd do it with a low stilleto heeled shoes
Loved all the outfits Marie-Anne! and I have most of the items in similar styles! only not the shoes, I have such an issue with heels hurting me although I love them so much, also cannot seem to wear shoes that do not have some kind of strap because I will loose them, I have total shoe envy for your fabulous shoes and how well you wear them 🤗
I love leopard and cheetah prints, Marie-Anne. Your look here with the slender, dark jeans is pretty. As I love bright colours, I like bright pink with leopard. Turquoise might look nice, too. Purple, as well. I fear red with leopard seems to have a certain unwanted connotation. Haha. It actually does look lovely, though. The blouse looks beautiful on you, Marie-Anne!
Liked them all. I really loved to see it tucked in the jeans, with the boots. I wonder how it would look with grey pencil slacks and pointy shoes?!🤔 I mean grey as in shadow grey or pebble grey. The all-black with the shirt on top... Brilliant! Great inspiration
I really liked the second jeans outfit (with the camel boots) much more than the first with the wide leg jeans and sneakers. The silhouette in the second jeans outfit felt more balanced and chic to me- love your new leopard print blouse Marie Anne, looks so lovely on you!!
I really liked it best with the black pants & jacket open, with the slingback shoes. 2nd fave with the skirt and jacket buttoned, though I liked the stilettos. Looks great on you.
Leopard print doesn’t suit my pale cool undertones, but I enjoy wearing my leopard print loafers as a neutral color shoe. Occasionally a leopard print belt is just the right touch. (But never with an animal print shoe or bag). 😀
I have cool undertones as well, and I found a similar blouse, but in white, with grey and black rosettes. I think it works much better with my coloring. I also have a traditional leopard print on an accordion pleat skirt that I love, and that I usually style with a white button-down blouse and either a camel or black sweater over. ❤️
I don’t care for leopard print for myself, however I can style other blouses in my wardrobe in the same ways. I like the blouse with the jeans and cowboy boots the best.
Marie-Anne, I never cared for leopard print, I always felt it was a print for younger women. You have changed my mind! You look stunning! I'm going to keep an eye out for one! I think leopard print suits the more mature woman best as we have a lot more confident in ourselves.
A few years ago (before COVID) I was in Paris. The group I was with went out for dinner and a show. I pulled a dressy outfit together with black trousers, a black tank top, and a leopard print cardigan. Simple black shoes and a little jewelry completed the outfit and I was comfortably chic.

Thanks, Marie-Anne. I love all your outfits. I always wear leopard print with black. I didn’t think to wear with denim. I’ve learned something! Merci!

Yes, it is a classic, and I also have a leopard-spotted pencil skirt from White House Black Market that I adore.

The Italian shoes rock! I'm 58 and I've had my leopard print blouse for 10 years or so. Couldn't cut it loose if I tried. Wardrobe staple
I have just bought my first leopard print blouse. I am so excited to wear it. I am waiting until we go out for dinner. you have given me ideas. many thanks

Love leopard print! All of these outfits really resonate with me. I’d wear each one! Lovely as always Marie-Anne❤

I am very fair also so I wear camel with my leopard print. Also beige heels work for me with leopard.
Love leopard skin print and styling as I am from South Africa. Greetings Catharina.
Best outfit - the going out leather skirt and the blouse....
I like these sort of videos: possible variations with one piece of clothing. That trains the eye.Thank you very much!
Oooo, I like very much using the leopard blouse as a jacket.
Marie-Anne. Thank you for all your advice and it’s done with such style and humour!!!

Love leopard print. The blouse looks great tucked in the best. I'm going to a picnic at our the Monarto Safari Park
Beautiful. Thank you Marie- Anne. I love the leopard blouse as a jacket! ❤️❤️
All the outfits were winners! You looked smashing in all of them but the jeans w the brown boots was my favorite.

Audrey Hepburn in the movie Charade paired leopard and red together and it was a very classy look!
@@sherryobar5750 Yes!! She is my idol. the way she paired the print with the red was quite elegant, of course.
The shirt looks great with everything
Liked them all. I really loved to see it tucked in the jeans, with the boots.
I wonder how it would look with grey pencil slacks and pointy shoes?!🤔
I mean grey as in shadow grey or pebble grey.
The all-black with the shirt on top... Brilliant!
Great inspiration
I love animal print and do think about how to do this with class. You have given me new ideas. Thank you
Every outfit looks amazing! I love leopard print…….it doesn’t matter age
I wore it to church Sunday!
turtleneck outfit is awesome
Gorgeous! I Love leopard print. I have a long scarf that I wear with a black leather jacket or trench. You look stunning.🐆🌶🥂
I love leopard and you gave us some fabulous ideas.
Snap - I wear my leopard print as loafers too. I'm too cool toned for it to sit near my face.
Love your singing and dancing as you experiment with various combinations
I don’t care for leopard print for myself, however I can style other blouses in my wardrobe in the same ways. I like the blouse with the jeans and cowboy boots the best.
