Oh, this podcast gives me a hit of the energy and delightfulness you offer at the store, and what a treat to meet Aja!. Thanks for the super wash information, and I look forward to more. You all are podcast naturals!
Omgosh, this was such a fun AND informative video! (Tbf, I'm still a yarn noob, lol, but!) The softness tier list and explanation of their structural qualities was a perfect blend of visual + lecture learning styles. I've inherited a large stash of unknown fiber type yarn from my mom, so I see a looot of swatches in my future, lol... And the DIY dry cleaning technique is also very helpful! (I have a wool DCO coat that I'd like to freshen up before winter wear again - it's not dirty, just packed away in a basement for a few seasons. Definitely going to give this a try!) All in all, a wonderful first episode, and I'm looking forward to learning more! =)
Jim says, “well, that’s fun”. Good information! I never knew that about diy “dry cleaning”! Slurping cats…that’s going to be hard to get out of my head ;)
This was wonderful! I can’t wait until the next one. Fun plus informative. Kind of like the other day at the store when you explained about the yarn layout 😂 FYI Lukas does not lick his toys, he attacks them with his hind feet. 😼
This was great! I have a question--I always have trouble with my guage. I tend to knit loosely (though it doesn't feel like I am) and I get a really nice texture, but when I go down a needle size it might then be too tight. So I'm never sure how to get the right tension and sweaters can be a risky venture. Can you help?
