@@steve17bf2 Hi Steve, sorry I missed your question until now. The recording was pretty good, it was in the original studio which had the issues with the lighting on occasion. It was definitely a small studio, not like the larger studio that Craig got later on. We lined up and got ID's checked, had some information about behaving in the recording (someone had been kicked out about a week or so earlier for misbehaving.) The merch store opened, I was able to buy one of the Rattlesnake mugs that Craig has on his desk. They do the 'ladies and gentlemen, Craig Ferguson' bit first. Then they have the ad break, and then film the 'cold open' part. Everything else was pretty much as it was on screen. The laugh/noise you hear when Kristin answers the question about the capital of Iceland was me, as for some reason I always found that funny. :) Hope this helps.
@@scottmarshall5755 Thanks for taking the time to respond. I was a bit surprised first time I saw the show, I hadn't seen a Scotsman hosting anything in the US before. It's definately different to the rest of late night TV, and the guests that understand how he runs the show seem to enjoy it. He recently did a interview with Bill Burr, which was good to see him in a different environment. Ferguson tugged the Hollywood curtain, hinting at the depravity underneath... made him stand out :D
Possibly my favourite episode of the show. But that's because I had flown in from Australia that day and went to the recording of this episode. :)
Will you give a paragraph or two of what it was like? I only found the show about a year ago, wish I'd found it sooner.

Every day is Friday for Craig...Zod bless him or something
Sometimes, when I'm watching these, I have to do a mental double-take and say "Wait, that just happened" --> 38:20 and start laughing.
