      It is indeed. That was a rare occurrence back then, and there's never been a vehicle with that siren again since in Denmark. It was quite cool

    great catch! I think it's the standard dispatch for a class 3 structure fire, e.g. a roof truss on fire or any kind of buildings where a large number of people might have to be evacuated, like schools or hospitals.
    have been to Copenhagen only once, but managed to film that kind of response, with 9 units leaving the main fire station...

      EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos Thanks! Yes that's right. This was a response to a automatic fire alarm in a nursing home, and apparently it was confirmed that there was a small bin fire, which made them upgrade to a class 3 response.

    The appliance @ 2.25 sounds like a Brandweer ( NL ) appliance. Denmark & Nederland are strikingly similar , Denmark is less heavily populated though.

      +RascarDK In what way?

    • @RascarDK
      @RascarDK  8 років тому

      They draw attention to the vehicle when it pulls out from side roads and such where traffic sees it from the side. In Denmark most fire vehicles has got those painted wheels, so everyone knows right away that it's a fire vehicle and that you might need to yield to it in case of emergency.

    Merc pump with two-tones and wail was the most impressive ut of those. Did the driver of the first Volvo pump check his roof bar lights at the start of the shift ;-)

      @RascarDK  9 років тому

      UKRedSnow It's an interesting combination that appears to be effective too :) Not sure about the lights on the Volvo pump... might be the camera actually.

      They are strobe lights, they do not sync with video recording very well, so appear to be not working when they actually are

    Some really rare and cool looking units there. Awesome sirens and horns! =D
    One of the best videos of emergency vehicles on call!
    So why do they use Federal sirens? Very American.

    • @RascarDK
      @RascarDK  10 років тому +1

      Danish emergency services use many different sirens. Whelen, Federal Signal, Premier Hazard, Haztec and so on. I think it's because when they buy a new vehicle, they find the one that suits it the best, with regards to price and quality at the time, so it will vary a lot each time new vehicles are added to the fleets. Also the law about sirens are very flexible here. We are allowed to have all kinds of tones and martinshorns/two tones. Thanks for the comment!

    • @CobraEmergency
      @CobraEmergency 10 років тому +1

      Yeah we have some interesting sirens here!
      We still have two-tones, but they're hardly used D;

    And are all your police vehicles without high visibility markings?

    når f.eks station T for udrykning til ABA til plejehjemmet i bystævneparken er det kun sprøjte stigevogn og Fe13 der kører

      It's a mix between being cheaper and more aerodynamic (less fuel used), i heard.

    • @tommyjrgensen5975
      @tommyjrgensen5975 8 років тому

      +BIGBLOCK5022006 about 9 to 11 danish crowns = 1,50 to 1,70 us dollars

      tommy jørgensen Thanks for telling me. I was curious since right now I am paying around $2.11 a gallon for petrol/gasoline here in Michigan.

    ja så kan man da nærmest heller ikke ønske sig mere fra hovedbrandstationen. ellers meget sjældent at hele specialtjenesten og hovedstationens sprøjte og stige kører i samme udrykning og så endda med 2 lægebiler.
    kan du fortælle mig dato og tidspunkt du fangede udrykningen.
    fin video hilsen jonas

    • @RascarDK
      @RascarDK  10 років тому

      Tak for det. Jeg optog dem af tre gange da jeg pga. mellemrum mellem de kom troede der ikke kom flere. Det var mellem 15:57 og 16:05 d. 19/4 at jeg optog dem. Jeg tror måske den ene af lægebilerne skulle til noget andet end de andre, tilfældigvis på samme tid og retning, da jeg ikke mener det er normalt ligefrem at køre 2 læger til et skadested, når det ikke er en kæmpe katastrofe. Så vidt jeg kunne se er det denne udrykning de kørte til:
      19. april 2014 15:55
      Brandalarm - HANS KIRKS VEJ, 2200 (fra døgnrapporten) Måske du ved om der ligger noget dér, der kræver storudrykning til brandalarm?

    • @REDNINGsStation
      @REDNINGsStation 10 років тому

      RascarDK ja ok brandalarmen på hans kirksvej er på et plejehjem. normalt så er det kun insatsleder og st.fælledvej der kører med til den melding. men kan se at der var end mindre brand i en papirkurv som udløste brandalarmen. tror personalet på plejehjemmet har noget at ringe tilbage og sige at det var en reel alarm og man har så opgraderet alarmen til nivo 3 som netop er denne udrykning til brand på f.eks plejehejem. hilsen jonas

    • @RascarDK
      @RascarDK  10 років тому

      redningsstation Nå ja, så er det nok derfor. Evt. har indsatslederen sendt køretøjerne afsted efter selv at være ankommet på stedet, da det var en del minutter efter indsatslederen kørte forbi, at de andre kom, og den adresse er jo ikke så langt fra Jamers Plads hvor jeg stod.
