i have to disagree, young people nowadays mostly spend their time moaning on the internet and massaging their vanity on Instagram or Facebook.... in 2035 who's gonna be saying "Ahhhh those were the days, back when Kim Kardashian posted a massive picture of her arse on Instagram! Yep, you 2020s kids haven't lived"
As a 51yr old Headbanger, this is definitely a nostalgic song and video. I still go to concerts of the bands of that era and listen to that music every day. Back then, it saved my life and I'll support those bands til the day I die. ❤🤘
I lost my memory in the 90s and regained most in 2007 fading in and out till 2017 it's now 2024 and I still listen to this song bless you Yall still keep me going I'm 53 now I've been listening since age 18 when fly to the angels came out that's all I know❤
My younger brother got me liking Slaughter he passed away Feb 11 2022 the day b4 his birthday RIP Jason always loved never forgotten baby brother, love and miss you every single day since you left us, I wear your necklace and never take it off, I just want you back bro remember all the trips we took to the falls like everyday, wish we could do it all over again, even getting my bike stolen, worth it just to have you back Jay, thanks for always watching iver me, more upcoming surgeries coming, and ive kept in touch with Brenda for you too we have alot of stories we share about you, she has her good days and bad but shes a fughter and an awesome human being, you left so many questions unanswered bro, just wish we could have one more day together
I am with you and those feelings. Those memories from those times in our lives are forever cherished and woven into my spirit. ❤️ These songs are our tapestry of life and love.
I remember buying this cassette summer of 92. I was 18…All I could think about when I heard this song was that part of my life was over, and it was on to adulthood. Then I realized how much I didn’t cherish my childhood…Bittersweet memories
Wow... I was 20ish when this came out. Watching this again, I'm feeling a mix of nostalgia and sorrow for the loss of my youth. The lyrics have SO MUCH more meaning when there's more days behind than ahead. I'm lucky to still have the same best friend then as now though.... gonna call him tomorrow!

Slaughter was capable of playing a wide range of songs. From hard rock to ballads. Theres nothing wrong with that . I think it shows how much talent these guys had. Mark has an incredible voice. He also happens to be great eye candy . I miss em really bad. They wrote some killer songs. Love ya guys, a fan 4ever.
Ohhhh the memories that come rushing back just listening to first few seconds of this song!! Makes me cry happy tears!! Puts me right back in high school with my boyfriend at the time. I loved loved loved this band!!
It's always great to know of other fans. I'm class of 83. I remember Mike Slaughter in "84 We partied by the Rio Grande next to the Rez. Awesome. Blessings.

This one, Just Another Night (Wildside) & Driftin Back (Killer Dwarfs) all take me to the days of being 17 years old, about to graduate HS. Now I'm pushing 50 in a few months, grateful to still be here, and listening to all these great tunes.
I was extremely blessed to have met Tim at my very first rock show and meet and greet. I gave him a little pendant. He was an absolute gentleman. I'll carry you in my heart forever dear angel ❤️
Tim Kelly was such an underrated lead guitarist. Miss him. R.I.P. Tim🙏. This is my all time favorite song on this album! This song proves that Mark Slaughter can really hit some very high notes! I’ve always loved the way he sings. Great singing, piano playing, & such beautiful lyrics!:-)👍\m/
We used to have a little assembly at the end of the year for high school seniors and they would put together a video annual. I got to help with choosing a little bit of the music for it. This was the song I sent. I was so happy they actually picked it😁
A great song Mark Slaughter has one of the greatest voice in hard rock music. 80s n early 90s is best for hard rock music. 😎🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🌹🌹❤️❤️🏋️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸🎸🌹
I know this band from hanging with them in up state NY and NY City. This video gives me memories of Timmy their band mate who is in this video and it makes me sad that we all lost him so soon but may he RIP.....He was such a kind and very real soul.....
I'm so glad that I lived those days,no internet,no cells, but we had these great bands that will sadly never be reproduced.the 80's had the best music, hands down.
Man this is when the band was so young and in their prime! Great music video and shows just how tight and what great friends everyone in the band really were! Tim Kelly may he R.I.P. !
You’re full of shit man. This song is from their second album The Wild Life, which was released in 1992. Slaughter was formed in 1988, after Mark Left Vinny Vincent Invasion. Their debut album, Stick It To Ya, was released in 1990. They are literally a 90s glam band. Just because you met them in 1989, does not make this an 80s song.

great song! It's amazing Slaughter was pushed and became so popular during a time the hair metal fade was being fazed out by so many labels (Maybe one of the most overlooked bands of the 1990's) they were a real rock and roll band that gets knocked more then respected but, at least people on UA-cam seem to love them
it does. I saw them last month and Mark and Dana did an acoustic version of this song and you could see the pain in Mark's face when he was singing as he was having a hard time getting the words out. You can tell that both of them still think about and miss him. I was front row 2 people left of dead center (I lost my hearing for a day because the venue was too small for the show).
To my best friend Jerry Caron I miss you my brother and I wish I was there at the end. I'm sorry you left us so violently. I think of you whenever I hear this. We were the best of friends.

Such a great song! One of my all time favorite Slaughter tunes. Can't believe this was in a huge song for the band. Most definitely affected by the grunge movement as The Wild Life came out at the tail end of the era
