i have to disagree, young people nowadays mostly spend their time moaning on the internet and massaging their vanity on Instagram or Facebook.... in 2035 who's gonna be saying "Ahhhh those were the days, back when Kim Kardashian posted a massive picture of her arse on Instagram! Yep, you 2020s kids haven't lived"

SynphamyOfficial I don’t know about that. My era was the 90s and I don’t ever want to go back those years. Alternative music was the worst!

As a 51yr old Headbanger, this is definitely a nostalgic song and video. I still go to concerts of the bands of that era and listen to that music every day. Back then, it saved my life and I'll support those bands til the day I die. ❤🤘

Wow... I was 20ish when this came out. Watching this again, I'm feeling a mix of nostalgia and sorrow for the loss of my youth. The lyrics have SO MUCH more meaning when there's more days behind than ahead. I'm lucky to still have the same best friend then as now though.... gonna call him tomorrow!

You’re full of shit man. This song is from their second album The Wild Life, which was released in 1992. Slaughter was formed in 1988, after Mark Left Vinny Vincent Invasion. Their debut album, Stick It To Ya, was released in 1990. They are literally a 90s glam band. Just because you met them in 1989, does not make this an 80s song.

To me all it's started in '60/'70s With band as Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, Uriah Heep, Alice Cooper etc.. Without these bands and maybe also The King Elvis at the real begin, we ain't had the Hard Rock.

One of my Fave songs of one of the best bands of the 80’s…I got to see them once in the later years and they still sounded the same. That was the bestest time of my concert going life…I hope I get to see them again soon…

Such a great song! One of my all time favorite Slaughter tunes. Can't believe this was in a huge song for the band. Most definitely affected by the grunge movement as The Wild Life came out at the tail end of the era

Great! 80s and upto 90s were the Decades For These Awesome Songs and Amazing Music! Today's Rock Generation Doesn't Know What Actual Melodic Rock is! Mostly they are Craps! Meaningless! Except Very Few!...Thanks a Lot Slaughter. .....

Very fond memories of this song. In high school, I got a graduating class one year to use this song as their senior anthem for our video yearbook.
