I love this! Seeing this after TROS makes me want to cry. Our ship sailed and we won but at what cost? I’ve shipped them since TFA, and it hurts to see a beautiful ship sink right after it sails. I love these two so much; no one understands how much I adore Rey and Ben. Face it, antis; we were right about everything these two lonely souls felt for each other. I’m still really sad about Ben’s death, though. Idk if I’ll ever get over it.😭😭😭😭😭 But this is a beautiful tribute regardless of any of that. Keep up the good work and may the Force be with you always!❤️
I love this ship now, but it took me some time to come around because I'm not a fan of the "love can redeem a toxic man" trope. In the real world, too many people get caught up in abusive relationships because they mistakenly believe that their love can heal that person. The implication that Rey would be helplessly drawn to Kylo and give into that desire regardless of how he treated her was not a good look for a strong female character. So when Rey refused to take his hand in TLJ, I sighed in relief. I knew then that as long as he stayed on that path, Rey wasn't having any part of it. TROS is what finally changed my mind about these two. Rey healed Kylo, which made him realize just how much she loved him. Her compassion definitely played a part in his redemption, but it was his parents who gave him the courage to come back to the light and become Ben again.
I love the way you pieced this video together. It really shows the reflection of Kylo to Rey and all the romantic tension collected throughout the movie! I'm in love with this!😍

Not all Reylo shippers are like this, but the ones who are, and constantly curse the name of JJ Abrams, dont understand that they got what they wanted in the end and they need to shut their mouths and deal with it. And, to be fair, I did forget about Bastilla and Revan, but a small percentage of Star Wars fans actually know them, or care about them, so it's hardly popular.
