      +Cosme Gonzalez It's pretty easy to get a decent bass tone, and those sansamp units are awesome

      +higler420 also I think he's just a shit hot player. That's probably where most of his tone comes from

      Axe/FX is not simple, haha! You could create the most absurd, effects laden pedal chain(s) in there if you wanted to.

    I love how short their gear tour video is. I mean, some guitar players took 30 minutes to explain their gear. Which I love too. No offence though.

    Depends on what you expect from the video :) We're not a review site. We just talk with bands and see what their gear is. Veil of Maya didn't really have a lot to say but we reckon it's still pretty nice knowing what they play with, no? If you're a musician yourself perhaps our other episodes are of more interest to you.

    Bedankt voor de opmerking. We hadden inderdaad nogal problemen met het geluid die dag aangezien er op de achtergrond ook wordt ge-soundchecked door andere bands. Het boosten van de stemmen had als gevolg dat je dus ook een pak meer achtergrond noise kreeg. Iets waar we in het vervolg alvast rekening mee zullen proberen houden. Toch bedankt :)

    I wonder if he realized at the time that the Ultra can do harmonies in any key/custom scale as well as effects. Don't really get why he'd use the GT100 unless he uses it as a controller for the Ultra as well

    Can someone explain to me how Dan's preamp works? If that's really all he uses, can I get one myself and only need to use that? Or do I need an amplifier as well?

    • @danielreyes7851
      @danielreyes7851 7 років тому +1

      if you want to run a cab on stage you would need a power amp. but if you just want to play direct that is all you would need.

    does anyone know what's in Dan's Rack other than the Axe FX

    • @tuneupofficial

      Marc plays just the AxeFX. The other stuff in his rack is his wireless system and the drum trigger module.

      +Tune Up do you know the models?

    • @tuneupofficial
      @tuneupofficial  8 років тому

      +Sky King I'm mistaken. It's not a wireless, it's a power supply unit. The top one is a Furman PL-Plus (power supply) and the tigger module is a Alesis DM5.

    Het verschil tussen het praatgedeelte en de muziek is wel érg groot. Misschien in het vervolg iets beter op elkaar afstemmen. Ik zit nu mijn volume aan te passen omdat ik óf de persoon niet versta, óf de muziek kneiterhard staat :P

  • @tuneupofficial
    @tuneupofficial  11 років тому

    Ja dat kan goed zijn. De Unbreakable video is al van een tijdje geleden dus ik zou die niet als referentie nemen. Als bands op tour gaan nemen ze soms niet hun volledig eigen setup mee. Sommige huren dan gerief in het land/continent waar ze dan spelen. Het kan goed zijn dat Marc dus even genoodzaakt was om op een andere gitaar te spelen. We hebben ook enkele bands gehad die het interview niet mochten afnemen omdat ze niet met hun officiele sponsors speelden op dat moment (andere gitaar of amp).
