Great video, i have watched all of your videos ! Thanks for your work, i dream to see a episode with Gojira one day maybe. :) Sorry for my english, i'm French, once again great job.
Depends on what you expect from the video :) We're not a review site. We just talk with bands and see what their gear is. Veil of Maya didn't really have a lot to say but we reckon it's still pretty nice knowing what they play with, no? If you're a musician yourself perhaps our other episodes are of more interest to you.
Toch bedankt :)
Ik dacht dat Marc ook Ibanez gebruikte? In de clip van Unbreakable gebruikt die ook een Ibanez RGD en een paar maand terug toen ik ze had gezien, gebruikte hij live een RG827.
I wonder if he realized at the time that the Ultra can do harmonies in any key/custom scale as well as effects. Don't really get why he'd use the GT100 unless he uses it as a controller for the Ultra as well
+Sky King I'm mistaken. It's not a wireless, it's a power supply unit. The top one is a Furman PL-Plus (power supply) and the tigger module is a Alesis DM5.
Can someone explain to me how Dan's preamp works? If that's really all he uses, can I get one myself and only need to use that? Or do I need an amplifier as well?
i still don't fully get how it works, i want to do something simillair for my own since we're having a hard time finding a 2nd guitar player so i thought i could just use a looper on the parts that need 2 gutiarists but i don't really get how to do it
Hi Ole, thanks for checking out our videos. We've had a hard time putting out new videos the last couple of months due to changes in our personal lives. But we're getting the ball rolling again. We just posted a new episode with Anthony Altamura from Stray From The Path. Hope you enjoy it!
Dan Hauser Master Bassist: "Keep it on active and you are all set, it does everything". DH@UZER.EXE confirmed.
BAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA HE'S ALSO A CYBORG HOLY FUCK
Surprised by how Dan's rig goes his tone is so good
+Cosme Gonzalez It's pretty easy to get a decent bass tone, and those sansamp units are awesome
+higler420 also I think he's just a shit hot player. That's probably where most of his tone comes from
amazing how simple this is. just watched josh smiths from northlane......
Same!! Trying to understand Joshes is so confusing
In exactly the same boat - so simplistic - yet I'd love to see a current version of this given its now 3 years old
+distortedstringabuse Good idea! We've always wanted to hook up with Veil of Maya again. We'll make it happen!
+distortedstringabuse he uses axe fx II now, dan still using the RBI lol they found what they liked and stuck with it, killer live though.
Such a simple setup, really makes you think if all the crap some people do is necessary
NasonJewton tru
i love marc.
I love how short their gear tour video is. I mean, some guitar players took 30 minutes to explain their gear. Which I love too. No offence though.
You know they’re good when the bass player has more strings than the guitar
Very Simple and Reliable setup!
Great video, i have watched all of your videos !

Less is more
In their case less is WAY MORE! One of the heaviest one-guitarist bands out there. Wait...scratch that... One of the heaviest bands out there. Period.

We'll see what we can do. If they pass through Belgium any time soon we'll be sure to try and get them on the show.

I'd love to see if you could do Parkway Drive or A Day To Remember soon.
1. Unbreakable 2. Divide Paths
I love these type of videos. If possible, could you do one with Born of Osiris?
great video. would love to see after the burial next, if at all possible. their guitars are amazing
fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally!

What songs were used in this video?
does anyone know what's in Dan's Rack other than the Axe FX
Marc plays just the AxeFX. The other stuff in his rack is his wireless system and the drum trigger module.
+Tune Up do you know the models?
+Sky King I'm mistaken. It's not a wireless, it's a power supply unit. The top one is a Furman PL-Plus (power supply) and the tigger module is a Alesis DM5.
Ah okay. Thank You.
Can someone explain to me how Dan's preamp works? If that's really all he uses, can I get one myself and only need to use that? Or do I need an amplifier as well?
if you want to run a cab on stage you would need a power amp. but if you just want to play direct that is all you would need.
Wondering if the Darkglass b7k is better than the Sansamp RBI.
Raul Folk infinitely
Imagine if Brandon never left VOM
master of loop live
i still don't fully get how it works, i want to do something simillair for my own since we're having a hard time finding a 2nd guitar player so i thought i could just use a looper on the parts that need 2 gutiarists but i don't really get how to do it
@@donderwalvis6772 did you ever figure it out?
Do you take requests? I'd love to see The Ghost Insides U.S. tour rigs, also A Day To Remember, Parkway Drive would be amazing!
to which the amplifier Mark attaches fractal?
He said it just goes out to the PA system
What was the tuning again?
Drop B, but in the newer material they add a low F# string so it goes: F#BF#BEG#C#
Robert Hill thanks for the info, which also means Marc also using 7 strings guitar right?
Sheridan Kamal yeah ever since Matriarch he's started using them
lmao go gators!
NO more videos??? :(

His TSmith models are so much nicer than the Jacksons.
can anyone tell me the name of the song that comes on when Dan starts speaking about his gear
Divide paths
Their music is so distracting. And I mean that in the best way possible.
