To me, this looks and sounds really similar to Javanese/Balinese Gamelan Enclone.
I was taught about it and learned how to play in a group and have always really liked Thai (and bordering countries) culture. This is a parallel I didn’t know about. Thanks for teaching me something new WatNavaram
