- The Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System, or THeMIS for short, is the first hybrid fully modular unmanned ground vehicle in the world. The vehicle is intended to provide support for dismounted troops by serving as a transport platform, remote weapon station, IED detection and disposal unit, and much more. I really wish we had such platform for rescue where normal ambulance and heli can not land. Searching forests and landscapes, being able to transport patients and materials while having hands free on patients and conducting triage and other tasks would be so valuable.

Stabilization looks not very effective.
Gyros have probably hard time to handle very steppy movement of the hull.
@troll oracle I don't know about you, but here in India, 50 BMG or larger caliber HMG are used to provide long distance but fairly accurate fusillades on Pakistani bunkers in mountainous regions. In fact, that is the only time I have seen Indian Light Infantry units use HMGs at all. For most other purposes, they use MMG/GPMG.
@troll oracle On Armoured vehicles like MBTs and IFVs in India, we tend to use the Soviet equivalent of the M2 Browning i.e. the NSV-T. I agree that 50 BMG won't penetrate bunkers and that grenade launchers are better against fortified positions.
In Indian Army, Infantry soldiers tend to use Carl Gustav recoil-less rifles against fortifications. They are widely available across all 350 Light Infantry Battalions of Indian Army. This is despite the fact that these Infantry units also carry AGS 30 mm grenade launchers and 40 mm grenade launchers.
On rarer occasions, Light Infantry Battalions also use their older sanctioned SALCOS ATGM like Milan 2T to target Pakistani bunkers that are out of range of Carl Gustavs. But this practice might reduce after the induction of newer, more expensive 3rd generation ATGM ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPATGM ).

Emps are not practical weapons at the moment,as no one wants to detonate a nuke in our atmosphere.

@@gandolfthewhite smoothy brain there plenty of countermeasure to EMP for handle the issue of solar flares and underground barrers protect from EMP specialy with concrete and tin paper layers.
