    Tmac was only like 30/31 here if I'm not mistaken , crazy how much injuries effected him

    • @Chronz
      @Chronz 7 років тому +24

      Yup, but he left his mark. KD grew up idolizing the guy and patterned some of his game after him. Tmac actually outlived his expectations in terms of health/longevity. Doctors thought he would last about 3 years in the league. In terms of his talent, one of his coaches thought Tmac would be out the league by the end of his rookie contract.
      The guy wasn't perfect but hes underrated historically IMO. So many injuries throughout his career yet hes among the leaders in ALL-NBA selections. Thats pretty damn good for someone who was on the decline by 23

    • @About36Greekss

    I feel like Durant was more clutch his first 2-3 years in the league. He just caught it and shot it, every time. Made so many clutch shots. Last 3-4 years it seems like he overthinks things in crunch time.

But for Tmac to be riddled with injuries here at 30-31 years old and still get 20 plus points tells us just how good his scoring ability was. Durant is a stud too obviously and he does some things better than Tmac does. Would have been amazing to watch these two, prime for prime

    Durant taking center stage in the biggest stage of them all, the mecca of basketball in the clutch being clutch late in the game, hitting dagger shorts, long-drives pull up like they were 18 footers. It was reminiscent of M.J as far as that assassin killer instincts to close out a tight ball game.

      Metalic Groin lmao are you dumb? He had his best season when russ was injured. He carried OKC to 60+ wins then won the MVP that year.

      RH DG dumb ass russ helped him that season too that's how they got 1st. then struggled against rockets first round then almost swept by grizz wcsf if it wasn't for lucky clutch. that's how much russ meant

      Metalic Groin He's talking about '14 KD dumbass...
      He averaged 32-7-6 on 50% without Westbrook, led OKC to 59 win and won MVP. He carries a team better than WB.
      In January of that year he averaged 36-7-7 on 54% and 46% from 3...
      Wanna say something then??

    If only OKC could have held the Big Three together. Westbrook drove them all away.

    OK I was a dieheart fan of tmac I hate he got traded from the rockets but the problem I see is I think he could of played another 5 Years if he got his self on a diet plan he should of hired him a chef to go back to his regular weight and he would of been OK if you all notice tmac had got a Lil over weight.

      well he had back issues. I feel like that would really affect your ability to do core exercises. And even running in general after a while puts strain on your lower back. I felt his back was more a issue than the knee

      Nostalgia Guy No, Rockets killed him. If he stayed on the Magics, him and Dwight Howard would be a good duo and Grant Hill injuries wouldn't affect him as much since he got help. HE WOULD have gotten a ring in 2009 damn, so fucking sad
