Happy New Year to your family. That is so sweet about Ruby; she's such a compassionate person and it is easy to see where she gets it from!! Blessings and enjoy your cozy winter!
Thank you very much for showing us part of your country. I am half German & half Irish and I will never be able to travel to Germany or Ireland so thank you very much for showing us what your buildings and signs and a Christmas Market looks like. That Chocolate Cake looks so Yummy. Your sweater is so beautiful. Love the colors.
I love your No Frills, so pretty! I’m just wondering what was the pink shawl you were wearing? I also loved your Marley Shawl, the colours are so pretty.
I have such fond memories of the Christmas markets in Wiesbaden where I lived for 4 years. I still kick myself for not getting myself a pyramid. I did get a little smoker. No snow where I live in PA right now so looking at yours makes me jealous!
Thanks Molly for sharing your snowy day. I’m glad you mentioned the “smoking man.” I am also German and have a really cute one that’s got a keg on his back and beer bottles in his hand. Happy early New Year! 🧨
I've always wanted to go to an authentic German Christmas market. We have a store here in Michigan that's dedicated to Christmas called Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth. It's open year round. We also make it a point to visit Zehnder's or the Bavariann Inn. Guess who eats the Schtolen bread first? I eat the Schtolen bread first, which is WAY better than fruitcake. When other people ask what exactly Schtolen bread is, I always explain that it's like fruitcake, but better.
What pattern are you using for the Cozy Christmas Blanket? It is beautiful and I went to the website to order the kit but didn’t see it included a pattern. Thank you!
