I think to add on to this idea, once the speedrunner is voted out, they should begin a race to the finish with the remaining players vs the speedrunner. This gives incentive for the players to enter the nether/take speedrunning seriously earlier as well as making voting out the wrong person that much more of a loss.
My thoughts on this: Realistically, it would have been much better to use people with less knowledge on creators like Fein or just don't make the speedrunner that well known. Putting Booster in this is also insane because he plays ranked and even if he isn't as good as Fein, he has a lot of knowledge on speedrunning and the MCSR community. I thought there would maybe be a plot twist and Booster is the second imposter but this just didn't happen. The concept was good but it had some flaws. Once the speedrunner sees the nether and locates the structures, it would be easy to beat the game in 20 minutes. On the other side of things, everyone could just agree not to enter the nether and vote people out based on overworld exploration and other factors (This may not work if people immediately split up). There were just a lot more sus things that I noticed basically everyone except Fein, Hannah, and Donut doing like not using shield, mining the spawner, setting animals on fire etc. which leads me to believe that Booster and Antfrost were sus about Fein solely from his talking and gameplay style. This is further confirmed by the fact that nobody saw Fein immediately go ocean. Anyways, only reason I wrote this is to get it off my mind so if you read, don't take it too seriously.
everyone's goal was to beat the game - they just also had to find the speedrunner. If the game was beaten before the speedrunner was voted out they lost. So yeah, they could meta and try to get down to two people before trying to beat the game, but it is still the win condition of the game for both teams
Yeah I think the format was a little weird, as contrary to the person's title, the speedrunner actually has no incentive to speedrun or even deceive. If they just went in feigning ignorance they could probably get away with it, every single person that got voted was voted for overplaying their cards, not underplaying. The speedrunner actually has no objective, if they just went afk in the box and the other people went and beat the game they'd still win, and the non-speedrunners had no reason to progress. I think if they added a way for the speedrunner to be more threatening over time, perhaps by increasing the amount of time between votes by 2.5 minutes between rounds so the speedrunner realistically could just win in one round if you try and stall them out it would be a lot cooler.
yeah boosfer was the nail in the coffin on this one, theyve spent so much time together and they immediately knew who each other was - u can tell by boosfer hinting on it and fein saying f boosfer then voting him at 18:10 . Theyre just too familiar with each other to be in this, would be much more tactical if it had people who didnt really know each other. But thats pretty hard on qndres and i dont even think its possible to get a lot of unrelated people to come together for a video. still really cool concept and very funny also. w vid

feinbergs mistake was just running and boating around looking for structures and such like a speedrunner instead of chopping down a tree and doing the normal minecraft thing. i think he would have gone much more under the radar if he just did that

At first I thought it was just a clone of jubilee’s Odd One Out series, and I was confused why they were playing vanilla minecraft Then I realised the mole’s goal is to beat the game before they get voted out, but then once they did get eliminated I was confused why the game kept going THEN I realised that everyone else’s goals were to beat the game WITHOUT the mole Looking back i realised this was all explained in the intro, but all the details were brushed over so quick that it was hard to really grasp any of them
Very cool video, main improvement is that there needs to be some disincentive for voting people out like in Among Us, realistically withe the rules the way they are they should just always vote till its down to 2 and have a 5/7 chance of being right just randomly. I think that having a timer start where they race the speedrunner once they are voted out is good because it incentivizes strength in numbers, and works well if the non speedrunners are also good at the game, but there is probably other ways to balance this as well.
I actually like how people who are kinda good at speed running are put in here actually like they can just be throwing speed running facts and everyone would get confused which makes it harder in a way

Great video, but I have an idea to make it better. You should have set a time limit of something like 2 hours to kill the dragon otherwise the pro speedrunner automatically wins. This way, everyone is trying to beat the game fast + voting people out will hurt everyone because it slows down progress.
