Volcan Tavurvur, Rabaul 2009

Vucan Tavurvur in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, in 2009 still very active. Specially dramatic the situation on Matupit Island as seen on the video clip. People still waiting for beeing transferred to other places in the Province. Because of landowner problems in PNG a difficult situation. Rabaul itsself was destroyed in 1994 by the twin erruption of Tavurvur and Volcan.
