I totally agree with you Nikki, Marko harmonizing with Floor is something quite special, I just shut my eyes during these small moments, for those tiny bits of escapism

I have the same problems staying in the present too. I struggle with mindfulness. We miss the beauty of what’s happening in the present sometimes. Like another Nightwish song, last ride of the day, “we live in every moment but this one”. Gotta work on that

Fantastic reaction and analysis. All in all, very positive feeling in this song. And it was the first new single of Nightwish sung by Floor.
Great reaction! Floor's dress shows the Finnish national colours (blue and white) and also the DNA double helix. This concert belongs to the Endless forms most beautiful tour (evolution of life). For Elan also the official music video is worth watching; in it you can see famous Finnish actors perform (some for the last time, they mostly are of old age). And they show you what "Elan" means.
Floor and Marco together = Magical things! It’s really nice to hear them sing together, and the Irish Flute sounds quite haunting but in a nice way!
I am also interested in AI but not just for what you used it for - for art forms and music creation it’s pretty amazing. I have used it for a song I wrote for a friend who had been having a hard time with life, I wanted to add a female vocal - AI did an amazing job!

This is the next song after "The Islander". Marko is singing harmony. Troy is doubling Floor, which makes it a little harder to hear him.
Travel with great Elan.. yes desire for life, exploring the unknown teritory, have some fun, taste the wine, the line meet me where the cliff greets the sea, surely tells me Elan is standing between the known and unknow, and then he jump in the water..

Elan is a French word. You can get the sound/pronunciation off the internet.
Almost every song is very comforting for me, even the heavy ones. In the Élan chorus Troy is singing the same lines as Floor, but lower and he is much softer in the mix. Marko is providing a beautiful background to the chorus, much more prominent in the mix.
Nikki, I can't wait for you to eventually react to Nightwish, especially live, from their most recent tour after covid, and without Marco, to be able to hear Troy's vocals. Troy's vocals just can't compete with Marco's versatility but has managed to fill in, imo, nicely.
Nikki, her outfit is blue and white for the Finnish flag, and the white stripes represent human DNA
The usual brilliance. Apart from the lyrics ("returning swans and sedulous mice") and Tuomas metaphors like "building a sandcastle close to the shore, a house of cards from a worn out deck") the thing Im always waiting for is Marco's phenimenal harmonies.

My favourite song from NW is also Ever Dream. I always introduce this song to new listeners ....after that Ghost Love Score and Storytime....they all got goosies.

What a great song. These guys bring smiles and fun with everything they do. Marko's bass in this is incredible. My wife called Nightwish "welcoming" - I like your "comforting" also. Never a bad day when you listen to Nightwish.
