    Front Brake pad replacement/ fluid renew
    Tools required:
    Autel diagnostic tool
    Breaker bar and Ratchet
    21mm deep socket
    11mm Allen key socket and Ratchet
    Axle stand
    Jack
    Brake calliper rewind tool
    Wire brush
    Copper slip
    Flat blade screwdriver
    Gloves, goggles and face mask
    Torque Wrench (Didn’t show torquing bolts as did by experience as wasn’t sure on specification to declare)
    Parts used:
    Front Brake pads both sides (Brembo) - Purchased from eurocarparts £68
    Dot 4 LV High Performance Brake Fluid (1 Litre) - 1847947 - £9.99
    Brake fluid cleaner

    Did you encounter allen bolts on your caliper instead of hex...I saw 11mm allen wrench flash on the screen. I have a 2016 Edge and do not see hex bolts on the caliper. Just checking before I buy a wrench.

    What do those front spring clips even do? Seriously asking I did my mother in laws brakes a week ago and as I walked by her car today one was not there.

      It’s to hold the brake calliper in position so that the brake work effectively. It’s like a retaining spring, I would definitely advise getting one fitted

    What were the Brembo part numbers for those pads? Are they P 24 188 ?

      I honestly can’t remember. I purchased them from Euro car parts. Very good quality, fit like the original

      @@StangsGarageI just watched the video again on a larger screen and it says P 24 188 on the back of the new pads ... so, I've just ordered a set! cheers anyway.
