Too many edit their photos to make the geckos look better than they actually are. The gecko should ALWAYS look better in person. If it doesn’t then there is the problem. And most the time the editor isn’t even doing a good job hiding it. Why on lighter/whiter geckos the back drop is so light or bright that parts of the gecko are blurred. Or the humans arms and hand looks like Casper. Smh. Like can’t even see the scales. Then opposite for dark gecko. All of a sudden the back ground is darker and the same prop is darker. Lighting is darker. Still can’t see the scales cause it’s so black. Then you get it and it’s a light brown. Haha Like come on people be a little bit better at hiding your bad misrepresentation of the animal. Then you go into their IG main overview page and you can clearly see the lighting differences. It’s funny. I use a shitty cell phone and every picture you can see down to the scale. But not on these fancy cameras?? 😂 oh and cream is NOT White!!! Everyone says oh look at this high white and it’s cream!

That's why I always photograph on my hand. Anyone can tell a picture is edited by looking at skin tones
