Good boots! Got em today! Unfortunately, the orange ankle supports are not mounted by default (like in my previous Select TLS). Since it's way easier to get them out, than to get them in, I would recommend to mount them by default in the factory.
Hi. We have updated our TLS system and we believe that they work very very well now. Many of our team riders (world class riders), friends, and fellow snowboarders use the TLS and love them. WE hope you do as well - there are many benefits to them - including the ability to lace them really tight, lace the different zones differently for a perfect fit, speed, and general overall fit performance. Thank you for you comment.
I've been on Nitro boots (the Select) for well over 200 days now, spread over 3 seasons. Not the same pair obviously ;) Out of all those days, I've had absolutely ZERO issues with the TLS system. User error is a thing and I'd say that's the case for most if not all people complaining about TLS. Tighten them up, flex into the boot a couple of times and you're ready to rip. Easy peasy!
@@embee1706 good to know! I actually got this pair and was so stoked yesterday. only gripe that i am trying to fix is when I strap on my binding, the front where the toes are seem to be tight at the start but loose whenever i put on my ankle strap. hmm but very very happy about the boot
@@mackybernardo9390 You might be cranking your ankle strap too much, causing you to essentially tightening the boot even more with the strap, creating some slack in the laces. If your boot fits your foot well, there should be no need to crank those straps so much. Think firm hug instead of death-grip. Kind of hard to know for sure if that's what happening, but I hope it helps regardless. Don't worry too much about it, go shred and then make adjustments where necessary.
bought the boots and been running them for how many weeks now!! so stoked!!!!! they are amazing!!
Just ordered a pair! My fourth pair of Nitro boots!
Wow!!! Hyped to hear this! Glad you like them
