Hope you don’t mind some company on this one because I cannot resist. Totally what I meant when I said “good or bad”…excellent selection well executed!
Absolutely wonderful. Suits that ukulele playing perfectly. Great vocals. Love the black and white. Gives it a feel from days gone by. Can you tell me more about the ukulele you're playing on this one?
Thanks for the kind words. The uke was made by Rob Collins aka TinGuitar.com, from a cigar box. It is one of his very early models, and the neck has warped over the years, but it still makes a good loud noise!
I thought the cigar box was a great pick for this one. Sounds real nice with this tune. I thought maybe folks smoke ceegars for weddings, but is that when people have babies? I really only seen it in old movies 😅
It’s the sad songs that make us appreciate the happy endings that sadly are rarer for most of us. Cheers!
@@AndrewMorsePDX thanks Andrew - much appreciated.
Ah, good one Steve. Tells it like it is in that way great Country songs have.
Three chords and the truth. Can't beat it...
Yes, some love songs can be about unrequited love and this one is a real tear jerker. Nice one Steve.
Thanks Jim.
Great performance of a heartbreaker of a song. Thanks for sharing this sad 😢 song. ❤️🩹
@@charldeneschneier5167 thanks for listening!
This was one my Dad used to play! I haven't heard it in decades. Nice one, Steve!
@@berniarmstrong Cheers Berni
A great old tear jerker of a song. Proper country! Of course I know Hank's version. You're sounding great, Steve.
@@bobjking thanks Bob.
Great job on a song that really pulls on the heartstrings, Steve.
Cheers Ila.
Nicely sung. What a sad song!
Isn't it? I really feel sorry for the guy...
