Even when MIKAN is trying to replicate his classic style, it turns out much better than the videos I watched a year ago. You've improved so much MIKAN, don't stop now!
Absolutely amazing redemption run for Maroon! They placed so well for being the last to finish phase 1, and among the last to finish every other phase aside the last
Thank you for adding outlines around the very dark colors!! I always have trouble finding them on the screen on your old videos. Everything about this was a showcase of your skills gained over the last year or so. :) Well done.
Mikan, there’s a huge portion of your audience that doesn’t mind watching repeated videos. I know you record multiple times to get non-spoiler thumbnails. You could upload the various attempts of the same course on like, a second channel. I don’t think it’d be that much more work, but people (me included) would definitely watch it!
Yeah. Also, I'm kinda getting tired of seeing Green lose all the time. Green marbles get taken out due to physics bs that only happens to them in eliminations, and in this race, Green only needed one more marble to enter the last course, but look at the end score, especially compared to Brown, which hadn't even entered the semi-final course by the time Green had almost completed it.
@@Kartoffelkamm Cyan suffered the same as green. In the 5th area Cyan entered the same time as monochrome who came 1st overall. Yet Cyan suffered another case of waiting for the last marble. He was at 4 marbles before green entered the final area and the last marble took forever to get out, causing Cyan to eventually finish 20th.
I appreciate the smaller view to show the previous sections while there's still activity in them as well as the border around the darker ones since they can get noticeably compressed.
Rooting for Maroon has never been so painful. Just one marble holding the entire team back. I mean yeah they got 6th in the end but it sure was frustrating watching the earlier stages
Wow, I loved every part of this! First, it's a classic race, no real gimmicks, just RNG with obstacles. Second, the side screen. It showing the two farthest back stages means we can watch the entire race, not just whoever's in first or last place. Third, the way every marble has a chance to see the finish line, so it's not as critical to get a high ranking every time (though that's simply a matter of it not being an elimination race). The last thing that specifically springs to mind is how, on the last stage, the reset route gets blocked off for each tier of placement. When none of them have placed, all parts have a reset route. When 1-4 have placed, the last route is blocked off. 5-11, the second one, and 12 onwards, only the first one has it open. It really makes it so the end doesn't drag on like some of these team placement races can. Congratz to mono.
Those vanishing objects, it'd be nice to give them an outline or something so we can clearly tell when they have vanished, maybe even a change in how they vanish so it's easier to guess how long it'll take to vanish.
With their 23rd place finish, Indigo manages to hold onto their perfect record, being the only color to not have been eliminated yet. It was a close call today, but they've been going strong for a while.
@izzy1794 yeah, Indigo is always my favourite color, too. They were doing great, got first positions in two consecutive stages, then went downhill until being stuck in Stage 5. I don't think they deserved the 23rd position tho, at least one of the tenths.
@@PetoDiTacchino You see the incredibly large number of misses dark purple had (it's not Indigo, indigo is a different colour, closer to blue, this is a dark shade of purple)? That wasn't supposed to happen.
It’s like remaking your own race not in algodoo, but unity, also you can see the previous stage for other unfinished marbles. You marked stage numbers too! in the right side screen: upper part: previous stage lower part: this stage
Actually the upper part is the earliest stage with marbles. There's a few times where there's the current stage, then the previous stage is full of marbles, then the one before than has like one or two, but in those you can't see the current stage on the right

Maroon had such an impressive run! Watching them struggle on the first course, but then finishing with a pretty good placement on the last one was so nice!

I think it would be really neat to see a "Drop the Slowest" race It would start with a team of say 8, and each level would require one less marble to move on So the first challenge started with 8 red marbles and ends with 7 where the last one through dosent count against them. Then the next starts with 7 and ends with 6, etc.
Amazing consistency from Violet except when it counted: 8th to finish leg 1 2nd to finish leg 2 8th to finish leg 3 8th to finish leg 4 9th to finish leg 5 ...21st to finish leg 6
The advantages of unity is 60 fps and many more that makes the viewing experience much more better than from algodoo! Mikan thanks these are very nice to watch i like your videos very much!
