- • Mata mata turtle is a large freshwater and a sedentary turtle with large, triangular, flattened head with many tubercles and flaps of skin, that when triggered send signal to its brain and do a necessary action. It has a very long neck where it extend to reach the surface of the water to breath through its tubular snout act as a snorkel.
• They can be found throughout the Amazon in northern South America, and in Orinoco basins.Fimbriata is one of the two extant species in the genus Chelus, the other one being Chelus orinocensis.
• Mata Mata's plastron is narrowed, hinge less, shortened towards the front and deeply notched at the rear. With narrow bridge. The appearance of this turtle carapace resembles a piece of bark, and its head resembles fallen leaves, indeed a good camouflage they possess. Adult Mata Mata turtle’s carapace can measure up to 37 inches and weight up to 21kilogram.
• Unaware small fish swim too close, and they disappear instantly,; sucked in by the Mata Mata's wide powerful vacuum mouth when they open their jaws. Their eyes reflect lights similar to other nocturnal reptiles, so they’re predominantly feed at night, and kept them smiling all day long. Actually they are smiling, look at that smile.

If you have trouble deciding to what to make next then you can use my suggestion: peackock mantis shrimp or rattlesnake
Actually i have a lot of subjects to choose from my lineups, but i am just trying to give chances on you and on others request because i care all of you guys😊 and i truly appreciate our interaction. Soon i will make those animals you mentioned. I want to make them all honestly, but i have only limited time because of my day work.
I agree with you, just take your time man

Hi hi, would you ever consider making marine reptiles like tylosaurus?
Oh sure my dear, that would be one amazing marine reptile sculpture i suppose. Thanks for the suggestion will put it into our list😊
I love your wildlife sculptures and all the info about the animals you add ❤️❤️.
I also love all your custom tools. They look like the kind of stuff I always want but don't know where to get. I'll take a look at your video on this topic.
And you have a very interesting painting technique. I'm used to the sort of stuff used in fantasy miniatures, but this seems different and great for realistic looking sculptures.
Thank you very much dear Paula😊🙏 im glad you liked my personalised tools and my video style. Hope to see you more in this humble channel of mine.
Stick insect species naman sana sunod kuys! Okaya mga updated tools na ginagamit mo to sculpt 💙✨
Salamat kapatid, sure gawa tayo nyan sa susunod.

Amazing work as always! You are so talented ❤
Thank you very much Ida😊🙏
Now you need to make a cast of him and sell them.
Definitely i will bro, but i have to figure out how to make mould and cast it without ruining it. Appreciated it bro, thank you.
Awesome we had these in a pond where I used to live.
Thanks my friend, they info said they can reach up to 30 inches, is that true? Because i didn't see actual one yet.
@@LifeofClay yes the one in the pond was massive.
@@LifeofClay Wait I might thinking of the the Spiny soft shell turtle. Yeah I dont think we have them in North America.
@@ArmaGuyz oh i see the one you referring to is the alligartor snapping turtle might be. Cause this mata mata is foind in Northern South America, amazon and orinoco basins.
@@LifeofClay No no the Shiny soft shell doesnt have the spikes on its back Alligator snapper I have encountered a few times. They are big and they are mean and very spikey shelled the one in the pond had a flat back shell.
Hey! You're sculptures are amazing! I just found your channel off of your Reddit post :) These are so good, and very realistic!
