I know some people disliked the music in Bridgerton but I personally always loved it. It was a great way to show the beauty of classical music with pieces that are well known to an audience that, for the most part, probably doesn't listen to classical music on the regular.
I was watching Bridgerton when I realised Maroon 5's Girls like you was playing in the ballroom, just loved it. Then in Episode two, another tune I recognised but couldn't remember the name of was used - a great idea to do this.
IMO, the music is the best thing that could have happened to Bridgerton. It's a great opportunity to spark interest in a different type of music for those who are use to "traditional" classical music

Actually I disagree. For someone’s first introduction to non traditional classical music, there are many many other soundtracks for them to listen to. BatMan:the Dark Knight is a classic, as well as Inception; soundtracks of the BBC versions of Emma, Pride and Prejudice, even the Hollywood version of P&P is good! This would not be my first choice to show someone non traditional classical music. It’s not even my first pick for movie music. It is very good music tho no doubt about that.
Not only are these renditions CRACKED, but it perfectly fits the theme of Bridgerton: seamlessly incorporating new traditions into older, regal, classical ones! It also shows younger people how much classical music SLAPS, the soundtrack and costume design really made me fall for the show.
To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late-night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heating pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. The busy life sometimes makes us forget the importance of relaxation. But this video reminds me that we need to take time for ourselves, relax and enjoy moments like these.
OHH, it has River Flows In You!! Most beautiful song EVER, IMO. It can be the most happy, inspirational song, but also the most heartbreaking; if I ever have to cry on demand, I can just play this song. This is the song I walked to at my wedding, and we paused it at the break for the ceremony where my amazing MIL married us, then we continued it as we walked back up the aisle together. I wanted to play it when I birthed our babies, but... "ain't nobody got time for that!".
I would LOVE for them to do "Chasing Cars" classical music like this too. And have it included in the next seasons to come. I think it would sound so beautiful.

Anotnio vivaldi was a very famous composer and I recognize almost all of his compositions in class because we still use them in everything. Insane. Glad to see it in this youtube video.
Please go look up Vitamin String Quartet . They do a lot of instrumental versions of pop songs and performed most of the music in Bridgerton. I was already a fan before the show. I had their cover of The Offspring's "I Want You Bad" and Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" as my entrance and exit music at my wedding. It was an inside joke between myself and my husband after giggling together over inappropriate wedding songs performed at various weddings over the years.
When i first watched the series I thought maybe I wasn't hearing correctly! Could this be modern music for a time piece show? I thought maybe its older music sounding the same. It was indeed genius!
