- Answering some of your questions about the Prinsu Design Modular Roof Rack for the 5th Generation 2019-2020 Toyota RAV4 Adventure. This rack is designed to (almost perfectly) fit RAV4 Adventure, TRD-Off Road, XLE, LE and Hybrid models.
I also go into a deeper dive of my off road lighting setup and how I trigger them WIRELESSLY with a Trigger Wireless Accessory Control System.

Nice video! I like that wireless controller. I have a Cali Raised behind the grill light bar on my 2019 T4R OR with wires run the firewall. Looking for more lighting for my new 2020 Rav4 OR. Just don't see an easy way to pass through the firewall on the Rav4.
Edit: Can you do a quick 10 second video showing off the light bar strobe feature on the wireless controller?

Will this Prinsu Roof Rack work on the 5th gen hybrid, with the dual panoramic glass roof? thanks!
The prinsu website says the rack will interfere with the panaramic roof
@Grateful4Love I'd love to give you an answer but I don't have a sunroof on my hybrid also. You should call prinsu. They did only mention the panaramic moonroof on the xse on their website as having issues

So you got the option with the 40” light bar cut out and purchased a light bar separate from prinsu right? Do you have any videos on how to install

Nice work. The new rack looks better in my opinion and you have more capability with lights now and better mpg. You may need to watch the seal on those holes due to age and exposure.
Piece Train yeah I still plan on applying a flex seal like tape along the channel to really hem it up
@@DannyRocksteady That's a great idea. All I could think of was inadequate tape possibilities or a more permanent fiberglass bond installation, neither of which are satisfactory.
Do you have the dimensions of the roof rack? They do not have the installation pdf online so I can’t find the exact dimensions.

What size light bar did you put in that prinsu rack? Also and suggestions where tyo get one?

What did you do with your rain gutters on the roof It looks like you had the molding still there
THAT Z FEVER flex seal tape cut into strips and run down the channel
@@DannyRocksteady oh ok because it looked like you had moldings back in the rain channels
THAT Z FEVER the last 2” or so of the mounding is still useable, so they are there on the rear

I asked Prinsu on Instagram about the holes once you showed your install. They just said no revisions/versions are planned, so I guess plugging them is the best option. Another page that had a shop install their prinsu rack said they didn’t have to drop the headliner like you did, so that’s a plus.
for that Rav4 that didn't have to drop the headliner for the installation - do you know what model Rav4 it is?

dustinmcd91 technically if you're paying for a shop to do it--you're not having to drop the headliner anyway 🤷♂️. I would expect a shop to have specialty tools regular DIYers like myself wouldn't have.

Hi Danny, i see that u have a trigger plus , where do you connect your yellow wire to? Do you connect to battery with positive or fuse?
How u connect your ditch lights to trigger plus?
Johnny Pineda the yellow is currently run to the positive terminal of the car battery-I plan on eventually tapping it into a fuse, but that’s a project for a later time. The ditch lights are run to one of the trigger inputs.

INeverLose it is a 40” bar from 4WDKING for less than $100 on amazon. All my lights are being upgraded this month though-stay tuned for an update!

Could you share a link with the exact one ?
I’ve had these for a while don’t remember which they were. I don’t really recommend these ones as they create a huge blind spot-there’s newer versions available now that are a lot better. Mine were one of the first one’s available.
What is the light bar brand your running?
4WDKING from amazon in this video-but I run Diode Dynamics lights now including their 42” light bar
