As a psychologist watching this, I can't even imagine how disturbed these poor babies will grow up to be because of living in these circumstances so young.
I wonder how many actually survived the brutal conditions and how old they are now and if they are living a healthy and happy life. I wonder where they are now. Martha Hampton if you've ever been to an orphanage it is a very overwhelming feeling. Sometimes people say weird things when then aren't sure how to react.
It just shatters my heart and soul to pieces hearing these stories. I just hate this shit so much, ever since I was like 10 or 11 years old I dreamed about being a Dad and I know that's weird because usually it's girls that dream about being Moms. Maybe it's because I had 2 nieces and 2 little sister I watched and took care of all the time and I just loved it. Sadly I don't think I will ever be able to live my dream, I am disabled from dealing with a life long kidney and liver disease and have had 3 different kidney transplants and 1 liver transplant, and developed really bad bone disease as a result. Also you usually have to be kind of well off financially. I'm a single guy with my own place but usually they wouldn't let someone in my situation adopt. I watch all these stories and other stories about international orphanages and its so heartbreaking because I would adopt internationally in a heartbeat. All these children need is someone to take care of them, tell them you love them so they know they're loved. Any child that grows up in an environment like this is going to truly believe that he/she is not wanted or loved and that they were a mistake and they are going to carry that with them for the rest of their lives.
I wish you soooooooooo much health and happiness my friend. You seem like a very compassionate and a beautiful human being inside out. All I pray is, GOD make if not all the people but more and more people so kind and loveable that they opt to adopt those babies out there even if they can give birth to their own❤
Instead just taking videos and pictures they could showed a little compassion and give some love to those poor babies, that's all they wanted to be held and touched. This is very sad.

Agree so much. I am 25 but don't "qualify to even apply until I'm 29. Not to mention all the process I'll have to go through. I would give them a wonderful life. As I'm sure many people would. It's so heartbreaking. Adoption needs to be easier. I understand they want to make them go to a good home, but they are sleeping on wood like dogs. :(

Most unmarried mothers in the U.S. keep their babies and get help from the welfare department and their parents. Sometimes the baby's father and his family will help.
Then do it. So many kids in the system and not enough families fostering or adopting. Everyone has something to say but very few step up to the plate and align word with action.

Some have blankets, some don't. Why? Some look like they're way too sleepy. Some are screaming, possible hungry. They want to be held and feel that sense of another human. I was in an orphanage in the States and it SUCKED! You scream to be fed, you scream to be held, you scream to be noticed, you scream because you feel abandoned. Those cribs can't be comfortable. No way.

The ones in California had no children under school age. Chicago had a huge orphanage run by nuns with a swimming pool and sports teams for the teenagers that had children of all ages, including toddlers. That was stupid; babies belong in homes with a family. There are still institutional places for disturbed children.

I adopted a 2 year old girl I Germany in 1959..it did not cost me a penny...That girl now a woman, went to Russia and adopted an 18 month old boy and she paid thousands of dollars. She tried to adopt from the same kinderheim where we got her...But it no longer exists.....abortions are cheaper. I myself was raised by my grandmother....never knew the name of my father...However, I was blessed to have 8 more children. of my own....one who is also raising her grandkids....life is strange but all children need is love

They are so small and innocent and don't understand the world and why they were left. I wish I could just hold one of them And give one of those fuzzy haired little babies a good home and love. Exactly what I was thinking. Make no mistake this is baby trafficking. If it was about homes they'd charge under 5000. Maybe even few hundred. I hear it's 50k to adopt big business. And these kids weren't all abandoned. There version of DHS rips many from Loving homes. That's why some are upset they want there mom's. The infants content have been there all along.

I adopted my son through foster care. Got him at 3 weeks old. He is 5 now. No fees and they paid me foster care money. So it is possible for people who don't have thousands for a traditional adoption.
I have watched a few of these types of videos and I tell you, they are the most gut wrenching and extremely horrific videos I have ever seen! And for people just to walk in and think this is normal is mind blowing! I guarantee to you that they choose to lay them on plywood, that way they don't have to keep buying or cleaning mattresses and covers that the baby's keep peeing! Just imagine all the other abuse they are receiving both physically and mentally! Its very heartbreaking! Please understand that in many Asian countries all people sleep on wood bases because it's considered to be better for your back, they've been doing it like this forever. My Thai mother in law comes to stay for a week or so perhaps 6 or 7 times per year. She's late 70s, the room has a standard spring mattress and a softer 15cm pad on top of that. She sleeps on the ceramic tiles on the floor and without a pillow and gets a good nights sleep. That's what she's done all her life. I certainly agree there's a lack of love and toys etc., in the prphanage in the video. But keep in mind we're automatically comparing to what we typically see in western countries, so the comparison is not apples to apples.

In most of Orphanage videos Lots of children are crying but only 2 care takers are there, Who rarely take care if they cry,, so sad. its better there parents would not get them birth.
I'd love to run this place, giving the babies all they need...emotionally and healthily. I just want to pick up the one in orange who is constantly crying. Babies only cry as a means for shouting help. So many babes are peaceful and have maybe learnt that crying doesn't achieve anything. i felt like they were displaying them like hamsters in a pet shop. i'm sure that these babies are well taken care of for display and that there are others who live in squalor in a back room somewhere. so sad!

Most unmarried mothers in the U.S. keep their babies and get help from the welfare department and their parents. Sometimes the baby's father and his family will help.

Then do it. So many kids in the system and not enough families fostering or adopting. Everyone has something to say but very few step up to the plate and align word with action.

Some have blankets, some don't. Why? Some look like they're way too sleepy. Some are screaming, possible hungry. They want to be held and feel that sense of another human. I was in an orphanage in the States and it SUCKED! You scream to be fed, you scream to be held, you scream to be noticed, you scream because you feel abandoned. Those cribs can't be comfortable. No way.

@@victoriousvic2733: There used to be orphanages in the U.S. but they've pretty much gone the way of dinosaurs since the early 70s, and some states got rid of them before that. The ones in California had no children under school age. Chicago had a huge orphanage run by nuns with a swimming pool and sports teams for the teenagers that had children of all ages, including toddlers. That was stupid; babies belong in homes with a family. There are still institutional places for disturbed children.
This brakes my heart. I would love to adopt, but the cost is so high and there are a lot of babies and young children that need a family.

how horrific. what must it be like to start in your life like that - cold room, hard bed, not even a small toy or a bear or anything to cuddle, and, whats the most horrifying about this, no warm arms to hold you, nobody talking to you, kissing you, no warmth in such a young life. I adopted a 2 year old girl I Germany in 1959..it did not cost me a penny...That girl now a woman, went to Russia and adopted an 18 month old boy and she paid thousands of dollars. She tried to adopt from the same kinderheim where we got her...But it no longer exists.....abortions are cheaper. I myself was raised by my grandmother....never knew the name of my father...However, I was blessed to have 8 more children. of my own....one who is also raising her grandkids....life is strange but all children need is love

I adopted my son through foster care. Got him at 3 weeks old. He is 5 now. No fees and they paid me foster care money. So it is possible for people who don't have thousands for a traditional adoption.

I have watched a few of these types of videos and I tell you, they are the most gut wrenching and extremely horrific videos I have ever seen! And for people just to walk in and think this is normal is mind blowing! I guarantee to you that they choose to lay them on plywood, that way they don't have to keep buying or cleaning mattresses and covers that the baby's keep peeing! Just imagine all the other abuse they are receiving both physically and mentally! Its very heartbreaking! I pray so hard for these precious babies and wish we could do something, anything to help!! 😢💔🙏

This is horrible!! Just imagine hours and hours of discomfort from laying on the wood all day.
Please understand that in many Asian countries all people sleep on wood bases because it's considered to be better for your back, they've been doing it like this forever. My Thai mother in law comes to stay for a week or so perhaps 6 or 7 times per year. She's late 70s, the room has a standard spring mattress and a softer 15cm pad on top of that. She sleeps on the ceramic tiles on the floor and without a pillow and gets a good nights sleep. That's what she's done all her life. I certainly agree there's a lack of love and toys etc., in the prphanage in the video. But keep in mind we're automatically comparing to what we typically see in western countries, so the comparison is not apples to apples.
This breaks my heart babies sleeping on wood crying for love ,i have 4 kids and if i could afford it i would adopt in. A heart beat but saldy even once babies have a family it takes mo nths or years for them to leave which kills me knowing they ciuld be getting love for all that time .Its sd how pricy it is to adopt and out of the reach for many loving families

Those children don't have toys or a TV .They sleep on wood in a crib .And because of their inactivity they become deformed due to atrophy.They are literally left to die in their cribs with no exercise ,no decent food etc ! Bless, they don't even have a mattress on their beds, toys nothing. I have my own baby but would absolutely love to adopt but process is to long and so much money. Should make process easier and more cost effective for people who want to adopt. Just want to give them a hug 🤗
