Hello , I purchased USB FTDI FT232RL online , but seller sent me USB FT232BL what has 5 pins , 5v, 3.3v, TxD, RxD, and Ground. But DTR and CTS pins are missing. What I work with this ?

Thank you very much for this informative tutorial..... One down side of this board is they are compact and without serial port but are high in price compare to arduino nano which are cheaper than this boards and with on board programmer. That's why I use arduino nano for my projects.

FYI: Pro Mini voltage regulator marked with Kbaa can be both 3,3 or 5 v. To identify what voltage version you have you should also look at the ceramic resonator. If it marked with 0.08 it's a 3.3 V and if its marked with AR is 5V (from what I could find)

Connect 9V to VIN/RAW & GND, then measure the voltage on VCC & GND. It will be either 3.3V or 5V. No guessing needed.
