Want to see the drummer sing? Just yesterday, in their hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, and in front of more than 4,000 fans, Paulina came out from behind her drums. She sat at a Grand Piano, accompanied by a string orchestra, and gave an awesome rendition of “Black Holes” an amazing song she wrote as a 13 year old. The whole concert ( fan shot) is on UA-cam now.
These young ladies were amazing back then. They have only gotten better!
They was a band for year or two before they did this cover. It went viral, and was the main turning point on them taking a music career seriously. Kurt from Metallica seen it, and said the the drummer kicked maximum Butt. Ellen D seen it, and invited them on the TV show. Target Corporation donated $30k for all three of them to attend Berklee school of music in Boston. The Bass player for Megadeath was one of their teachers. They already had an EP made, but they learned so much they set out to make a full LP right away, and XXICB was born. Paulina the drummer has many songs she sings lead on. Try Dust to Dust Live.

They recorded this song in one take. No do overs or multiple takes and splicing together the best sections. Metallica is a 4-piece band with 2 guitars, so Daniela was playing lead and rhythm guitar parts. Technically, they have always been superb musicians. Now, consider watching their re-arrangement of ES they recorded with Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist charity album released in September of 2021 for the 30th anniversary of the Metallica Black album.

The family had a backyard bbq and afterwards, they went into The Cave(the basement practice room) and recorded this to send it to their grandparents so they could see how the girls were progressing. Their dad tried to email it but the file was to big so......he made a UA-cam channel, downloaded it and sent it to the grandparents. The channel was public domain, and viewable by everybody. That was 25+ million views ago.

Remembering seeing this a few years ago. I haven't seen it in a long time. I had forgotten how accomplished they already were. This sounds impressively full for just three pieces. I remember thinking that having actual children do the "now I lay me down" prayer was somehow way creepier than the original...Heh...Love the Golden Girls pillow, by the way...
I think they were 9, 12 and 14 here. Who knew just 7 or 8 years later they would be invited by Metallica to do a cover for Metallica's anniversary album. The covered Enter Sandman again BUT, they completely made it their own and it's genius. Eveytime i hear this,i cant stop thinking "Gaaaaahli! The power shes hitting those drums with!" Paulina Villarreal has grown into a super cutie too,well she was cute back then too,but now shes like "stunning cute". At times i swear i hear Paulinas drums over the guitars. Now you sort of know my favourite,she never stops amazing me with how shes going in on those drums. I actually became a huge Metallica supporter in my super early teens,so its fun to see theese girls take on theyr most known "nightmare" song.
But for the Limitations of e-mail we may have never heard of these girls. This was filmed to send to their Grandparents to show them how they were coming along. The file was too big to e-mail so they posted it to UA-cam and sent them the link. The rest, as they say, is history….Talent meets good luck (for us).
Their talent was clear, but you really see the attitude and stage presence starting to appear.
You guys are fun. I was recently in car accident and fractured my kneecap. So I have a lot of downtime. You are definitely keeping me happier!

This is the video that made them viral and made them to decide to become a professional band, it became viral because Kirk Hammett himself, Metallica’s guitarist saw the video and posted a comment since he liked it very much, and with his comment the views for their video, they even went to the Ellen Degeneres Show and got a for a scholarship for a summer course at Berkeley, because of one of their videos they just used to do and upload to UA-cam so that some other members of their family could see, became viral and got hundreds of thousands of views… and it started their professional journey!
Now you should see the NEW version, a couple of years ago, the one with their own arrangement for this song they did since they were invited by Metallica to be part of the Blacklist Album because of the 30th anniversary of the Black Album

Couple of days ago Paulina (Pau aka Pow) sang a song she hasn't sang live in concert since 2019. A ditty Pau wrote when she was 13 years old about addiction. Song is called *Black Holes.* A song us TWA (The Warning Army) fans has basically given up seeing this song played live. They added something special & something very, very, very special cause it's a real instrument. Get tissues.
Then immediately the band goes into their newer version (now their 4th version) of *Enter Sandman* Again, they added something special. But first, see the music video of *Enter Sandman w/ Alessia Cara.* A pop singer from Canada.
