And the comics he's classy like that, One of those silver age villains wins up becoming a a modern anti hero because , at the end of the day , he was mostly just bored And fought the heroes because he wanted Something to kill his time.
Hes basically Green Lantern with Shadows. When you really think about it shadows are everywhere and he can not only make them solid, teleport and basically make them do whatever he wants day or night. Factor in speed (he's a flash villain, shadows are equal to light speed) His immortality, in the comics not only is he a living shadow he's like hes like centuries years old. His tied to the shadow lands which is like the speed force for shadow people. The shade is an Starman anti hero in the comics and it's believed because both he's not a total jerk. And " He's outright stated that if he wanted to take over the world he would have done it already because very few things could stop him."
Shades a scary guy he can just appear and disappear from any shadows or dark points in a room. So there’s nothing to stop him from appearing anywhere abducting someone and they’d never be seen again or even heard if they just disappeared into the ground
Because one of the main things people like about batman and co. are that they are normal people. People especially like it when normal people make super powered people look like chumps
@@PhoenixEnforcer101 Nowadays it`s look a bit ridiculous, though. Batman`s deduction, intellect, skills and technology sometimes look like....I dunno, some kind of noir toon force or something like that.

Idk how strong he is in the comics but literally aside from that one time with the hacks power of white light fire....no one has even touched him. Even then before that hack he was casually soloing them in a 3v1. I think his abortion ability is weaker and he can't use the shadows as physical attack weapons but he doesn't really seem as nerfed as everyone else and seems op in this verse
I don’t like the mask. He always screamed 1800s gentleman wardrobe. Shit, he’s an immortal born in the 19th century who adores the time even into the future (see Starman). Glad they kept his hat as least, but the mask just looks too off for me.
I really like the little hat tip he does at the end.

@@joshuarosen8080 hmm yeah alright 👌
He's actually quite weak here, but still great nonetheless
I love that when he was picking his outfit, he went out of his way to find a top hat 🎩 😂
I like how DC has several characters named Shade and they're all pretty cool.
He looks cool and creepy
God I love shade here

His voice actor was one of the Avatars on Charmed. I think he was the Alpha Avatar.
The one with goatee
He was also in the audio version of Greg Weisman's book, "Rain of the Ghosts". Same with Livewire and Mist's voice actresses.
If Justice League's Shade every tried to freelance, i start to laugh.
If it's this Shade, on the other hand....
The shade of it all 😂
Better than The Flash (CW)
WAY BETTER. CW wasted him
@@Demaad exactly Thank goodness for DC’s Stargirl which has HBO’s Help and Young Justice at least those 2 know how to treat him right!

@@domainexpansion1101I love how classy but condescending he was in Star Girl 😂
Real question here how is there never been a story where Batman or the Batfamily has this kind of power?
Because one of the main things people like about batman and co. are that they are normal people. People especially like it when normal people make super powered people look like chumps
there is one batfam member with noticeable powers but he's got light powers and defends Gotham at daytime, the signal

DAMN. he's strong

Oh good he was looking underdressed without his Signature Tophat
Halo vs Shade 😍
I believe Psylock (X-Men) had shadow teleportation powers for a short time when I collected comics.
it's shade and hide the darkness like batman
He’s Larry scp 106
So he’s basically just a cooler looking version of the spot?
Shade predates Spot by about 20 years, but yeah.
He was the meta guy with long brown hair and beard, next bald as mad hatter puppet
Yeah?

Can’t he just make the whole room dark.
