What kripparian sometimes encounters is nothing to what I meet every time in the arena. Did not even win a single game in 20+ attempts. I get decent drafts but enemies have insane decks :(
I too had an amazing N'zoth Arena Deck as Rogue. Made funnier because I consciously made a bad pick early in the draft. N'zoth to refill the board -> board clear -> shadowstep and play a Nzoth on 8. The deck came with two sludge belchers and a few other reliable deathrattles.
I recently had a selection #1 legendary in drafting a rogue arena deck, with N'zoth, Hogger/Elwynn, and Majordomo. Heartharena said I should pick Hogger, but he seemed so lackluster so I braved it and got N'Zoth. Then I went and drafted every single deathrattle card in selections 2-30 to boost the synergy. But first, selection #3 was pretty amazing, Ragnaros was the clear choice in my SECOND legendary. So how many deathrattles did I get by the end of the draft? Three. One harvest golem and two Southsea Squidfaces. Went 5/3 on that deck, two of the wins simply handed to me by Ragnaros. The number of times I played N'Zoth? One. The number of creatures N'Zoth resurrected? Zero. v_v
This deck reminds me of that one priest guy I met in arena with N'Zoth, 2 shifting shades, a loot hoarder and 2 museum curators (one of which game him Sylvanas and one Shredder), and who knows what other deathrattles he had left in 15 cards. Barely managed to beat him by topdecking a fireball for exact lethal.
I drafted a N'Zoth Paladin lite in Arena yesterday. Had a Legendary selection as my first pick in the draft, and it was him, Harrison, or Cho. Went with N'Zoth figuring I could get plenty of deathrattles...only got 4. But of those 4 I had Shredder and Belcher. Won 3 games just off N'Zoth showing up and finishing the opponent off. Ended up at 8-3 and I was pretty happy with myself. Almost didn't even pick him though cause he's rated *really* low on the tier sites...can't for the life of me figure why.

*sigh* ...this video reminded me that about two weeks ago I got N'zoth as a first pick in an arena run with a...paladin, I think. Can't really remember the class, because even though I picked the very best cards I could and had some good deathrattles, I still went 2 and 3 because I was unlucky enough to get matched against 3 pure face decks that had nothing bigger than a 4 drop all in a row and got crushed. :(
to game #2 (when kripp was 2-0 already) after n'zoth flame strike would literally burn you to the ground (3/3 trades into 5/3 n'zoth) and you would be left with a 2 drop from shredder
I never understood why the beast is never in a N'zoth deck. It's a huge minion, where the down side is you give ur opponent a minion, but they are probably already running zoo, and N'zoth decks usually have a lot of clears.
just watch any of his vids where he keeps the draft in the beginning, he normally says why he adds what he does. If you're new to arena you can really just pick cheap decent stuff and zerg your way to 5 wins.
well that the good side one time i got nzoth in the first card in arena and it ended up with only 3 minions that have death effect one time i even went shaman and got a deathwing and shaman legendary that give minions +1+1 and i didnt even reach 8 wins
Hey, could you guys help me in one little thing? I am kinda new player yet, with a pretty crappy deck, should I use my coins for area for a guaranteed pack and possibly a free one, buy packs straight away or save them to get things like the explorers thingy?
League of explorers has some very powerful cards, for example, Reno Jackson, and they're guaranteed, card packs don't really guarantee anything good, but buying it with gold will cost like 2800 gold, I honestly think 28 packs is a better idea.
The best u can do is a mix of those three options. But if u are great in arena, then consider not doing the pack buying. Adventures are always great, but for the price of one wing u can buy 7 packs...Its all up yo U
1 : adventures. The most effective way to get a lot of (good) cards. When you have all the adventures available : 2 : classic packs. Contains most of the cards that allows you to build the basis of the most popular archetypes. And they will always be usable. When you are able to build most of (your favorite) classic archetypes : 3 : most recent expansion packs. When you get to step 3 (and not before !), you can consider trying arena seriously. But not before : you would be so bad that it wouldn't be profitable at all. You first need to know all the cards and how the game is played in general.
yeah and after you have a decent amount of the classic cards and good cards in the meta from expansions and understand the game do arena instead of buying packs. you can earn gold/packs/cards/dust like 10x quicker by grinding arena
As a new player you may actually pay almost 150 gold for every guaranteed pack in arena + when playing on ranked you do get 10 gold for every 3 wins, so I wouldn't recommend playing arena unless you really enjoy it. First packs you will buy will not contain duplicates, so they are very valuable. Once you start getting duplicates you should consider saving money for adventures.
