went to the one in Evanston, they were well stocked . Lots of black cat stuff which I am not particularly fond of but they weren't too crazy as far as price, sure was cheaper than the purple ghost place
I really Love 200g cakes, they are ignored & underrated by alot of people... Friggin Bangers hidden in plain sight! And "novelties" never get old. Good times!

Nice to see you in our neighborhood Cody! We shopped at both the Pyro City and Fireworks Outlet store behind you this year (Wholesale Fireworks was mobbed! I think everybody saw your video, lol) . We were there on the 28th, and they still had plenty of stuff to choose from. It was packed, but they do a good job of moving people through pretty fast. We were very happy with our show. We bought a lot of various 200g cakes, as I learned from watching your channel they were good value and performance to fill in between the shells. Then the rest of the budget went to shells. Both the neon and regular Diablo shells were crowd-pleasers. Prices are high, but they have a captive audience right over the border in Colorado where we can't get any of this stuff. And boy, we go up there and spend a bunch of money for the 4th. Denver was ablaze this year with Wyoming fireworks! It always is, but this year was especially "festive". It was great! Looking forward to seeing what you got.

I'm planning to have a road trip in USA and these firework-stores are definitely a part of the plan! We don't have these here. In my country all fireworks inside the shop must be contained in these fire and explosion proof cabinets that can be closed really fast. There can only be about 50kg of NEC inside the shop at all times. So we have these pop-up stands inside the shop for few days before New Year's Eve. For enthusiast there are internet-shops that have drop off sites.

I have never seen such a clean display of candles and rockets in a store, 5 stars just for that! Usually they’re just thrown in.
Man all these firework store tours are making me want to contact my favorite store and schedule an appointment. They are only open by appointment in the off-season. Keep it up cody love store tours!

Man, that was a lot of Utter Chaoses there! those were discontinued a couple years ago. The Black Mamba shells I picked up this year were pretty decent as well, they really surprised me.

some great fireworks in that store but they seemed quite expensive in my opinion. I hope you get some kind of discount for being a professional pyro with all that you bought!

High Falutin is an awesome cake! $55 is overpriced a bit. I pay around $35 to $40 at my local shop. Even at $55 it's a solid cake if you have to pay that to get it.
It's always interesting to see the difference between German and US fireworks. Firecrackers for example - In Germany, you have Pyrokracher, A, B, C, D, SB1, and SB2 (SB = Super Böller = Super firecracker) firecrackers. From tiny to big. That's it. Then there are Kubische Kanonenschläge (cubic cannon shots), Kanonenschläge (cannon shots), Knallketten (chaincrackers), match crackers, and just a few outsiders that don't fit into this range (Honey Badgers, firecrackers with a preburn, that kinda stuff). All those sizes are always the same from different brands, but some use higher quality components, thicker paper, less paper, different color designs, it always depends, but going by size and everything, it's pretty much always the same.
In the US, it's fartnugget mc blaster 5000, bomb, pyro bomb, mega bomb, bomb bomb 2.1 bomb, zombie blood stain feast cracker, dynamite, big dynamite, official dynamite, real dynamite, actual real dynamite, it's all just so weird and funky, there's no "order". No recognition value. Just tons of weird things with weird names. No hate, it's just funny. I've been interested in fireworks since childhood, I'm rather old now, and it's still funny to see how weird fireworks are handled and advertised in the states, especially with many people still believing that there's actual "tnt" or "dynamite" in firecrackers.
I still hope that one day I can also shop at least once in a store like that, because things like that don't exist here in Germany. There's discounters selling fireworks 3 days a year before new years, and just rarely a professional popup store here and there for fireworks before new years. Otherwise you'd have to order online, and the shipping fees are INSANE because of safety reasons. I just wanna see what all that zombie goo poop fart nugget 5000 firecracker stuff is about.

I tried neon diablos, nikishi cans by Phantom,Pro Shells by M-80 fireworks,Nikishi blast, Koto collection, and lock and load, and Excalibur. The Excalibur performed the best, WTH LOL. Xcals are WAY under rated unless I got a hot batch idk?
You needah visit elite fireworks in Houston and do review on there products there really goood

Ugh, I hate Pyro City. Shopped there a time or 2 before I realized there were way better options. Mostly weak Black Cat cakes at high prices. I really hope prices start going back down after the shipping issues have gotten better…but I’m not sure they will.
