I was waiting on the ‘how to’ for ponds portion of this. Lake fishing where there is a deep thermocline is what I’m use to. Finding them in ponds in the summer sounds easy but I have trouble with it.

I was interested in buying the fire dye for minnows .. I do a lot of crappie fishing at night. Under lights. I usually buy two pounds of minnows a night for the whole boat. They way they come is in a giant bag filled with oxygen. Could I just pour two bottles of your dye mix into that oxygen filled bag and they’ll all dye green?

      Theron,
It's critical to follow the instructions on the bottle for it to work. Your formula won't be effective. We have a half-dozen how to use Fire Dye videos on our UA-cam page to help you.

I've never heard of shiners sold by the pound. Around here they pretend to count em out for you. You're actually getting what you paid for. I am not 😎

It would have been helpful to mention the approximate dimensions of the pond including the maximum depth. The pond looked big to me but I could not even guess how big.

Little word of advice…..most people who go fishing in ponds, don’t do so in a boat 😂😂

@@TeamPautzke - that’s my point….the title is “how to catch crappie in ponds” generalizing ponds as a whole…..not “hot to fish THIS POND”……

If any of you are new getting into crappie fishing, don’t listen to these guys u don’t need these “crappie fireballs” to catch fish, all these videos r them trying to promote they’re product

      Austin,
Of course they are. Isn't that what fishing companies are suppose to do? Promote their product? And, for the record, they do work or guides and pros on the Crappie Masters wouldn't be using them.

Sure you dont need them, but it definitely helps

True austin..there's no such thing as a sac-a-lait not biting..it's all promotion for money..I wonder how my father, grandfather, great grandfather, caught boat loads before all this was invented..lol..it just makes me laugh that you have to have this rod, this reel, this line, when they used to use a piece of sugarcane they cut from the field and a length of string..don't believe all these utube bullshit..
