    Michel Friedman is a *provocateur,* NOT an interviewer. Good job to Ravza Kavakci Kan for exposing Friedman's logical fallacies and giving clear rational answers.

    Turkey is no doubt violating get international law by entering another country without that country's permission but what about the Western country entered and still remain there.

      Russia is in Syria with the invitation of the legitimate government of Syria. Whilst Turkey and Western countries are there against the wishes of the legitimate government of Syria. In point of fact Turkey is supporting FSA whilst western governments have been training and arming rebels.

      There was not one attack from ypg prior to act of aggression by turkey..

    • @ugurokus

      There is pre-emptive strike against an existing and potential enemy. I don't see the violation. People thinking otherwise fail to see the obvious link between PKK (existing terrorist organisation fighting against Turkish army) and YPG (Syrian branch of PKK)

    • @wolflg

      I think they are saying talk to Syrian government before you enter another country border for military action, what if Assad went to border as ISIS just coming from turkey and oil trucks coming in from Iraq and Syria, could they attack terrorist on turkey side

    Those who say she answer the question and he kept asking same question.
    She is supposed to represent human rights yet agreeing with everything that goes against international human rights standard.
    Are those asking for peace terrorists?
    All she claims is they are supporting terrorists.
    She also claims turkey is not at war, yet soldiers and tanks and jets are in a sovereign country, the greatest point was when he mentioned turkey downing Russian jet for invading the airspace yet they have sent 50+ jets into Syria

    Reporter is disrespectful and condescending. She is so patient with him by keeping her good exposure. It is easy to read from a list of topics and ask the same question again and again after she already answered. On a scale one to ten, I would rate him at one. Because there is no option for zero .LOL

  • @TheCanaKurd
    @TheCanaKurd 7 років тому +3

    People are forgetting that the ypg/ypj never attacked Turkey prior to the invasion. Turkey attempted to draw them in several times. Attacks on Kobane etc.. But the ypg were smart and never attacked Turkey even though Turkey let proxies into their border and transported jihadis to Kobane and attacks took placw from within Turkey. Not one attack from ypg/ypj against Turkey. Ypg tried several times to have dialogue with Turkey but their policies are anti kurdish and will try anything to destroy their image.

    • @ugurokus
      @ugurokus 7 років тому +1

      Ypg/ypj militants were captured with abdullah ocalan (terrorist pkk leader) posters and coat of arms. They do not even conceal their link with PKK. For this reason, the argument of "ypg never attacked Turkey" is doubtful. Furthermore, Turkey has a legitimate longer term concern of a possible Iraq-Iran war scenario. Turkey's preemptive strike is way more legitimate than GWBush. After all, Turkey has a very long border and affiliated terrorists inside its borders.

    What a blatantly biased interview, simply putting on view your own awful mind-set and subconscious feelings about Turkey. I regard this interview held with not that lady, but with its own subconscious voice. Thank you DW for uploading this video and helping us keep this as a record which would be a qualitative data source for academics to meticulously examine your genuine sentiments and perspectives towards the region in general and Turkey in particular. By the way, I guess this guy watches Stephen Sackur too much, yet his capacity obviously falls behind Sackur's. One suggestion: make more library work and read a lot about both the subject you dare to ask questions about and journalism rather than watching HardTalk.

    I do not know and do not understand what this reporter asks about Turkey. Were they blind and dead in all of these years. Why they did not protest against action of Turkey but now that Turkey becoming against of American politic in his border becomes guilty with many of mistakes.
    America is going to create a new Israel in the border of Turkey and Turkey does not allow. As President of Turkey said America has to choose Kurdish or Turkey simple as that.

    at 8:37, the guy said: "everybody killed until now were terrorist,....". how can a person say something that untrue? Did U.S bombs say hello to civilians and did not kill them? Did the Russians drop cakes to civilian areas to kill their enemy? That guy is not a journalist. His words do not make sense, the way he looks as well. The open truth is that everybody kills civilians while they are killing their enemy, no one is on a moral high ground on that issue. Don't accuse others, do it rationally if you do.

    14:25 interviewer- "are you going to attack American forces?", Turkey spokeswoman- "that's not something we want to see happen"......... umm, that didn't sound to reassuring.... please don't do that, for the love of god...... please don't do that... that would be a bad move on Turkeys part and it will affect the world, that wouldn't just spark a war with the United States but also NATO and maybe even another World War, at a time where so many are already dying, why do this now, Turkey is a beautiful country but it will look like Syria if so and many will die on all sides, all from a simple mishap of firing at American forces in Syria.... the United States has put so much of their money in their military, you think you seen all the assets in Afghanistan and Iraq... no, believe me, they didn't give their soldiers ANY of their special assets (accept for a stealth helicopter when taking out Bin Laden but that is still at the bottom of that list) because it wasn't even necessary, they were only equipped with the basics, I know some stuff I probably shouldn't I'll just say that, if they go up against Turkey, a force with land, sea, air support and ground troops with modern technology...... as curious as I am to see these advanced technologies in action I don't want anymore war and death, we need to find a peaceful resolution.

More, she says Esad has killed 0.5 million people which is not correct statement. She lies because Turkey - not Turkish people but Turkish Government - has been striving for getting rights on the Syrian's soil like America, Russia so on and so forth.
    This is not about Syria. This is about which country will get more s"oil" from Syria and Middle-East.

    Razva Kavakci. So uninformed, so clueless, so unilluminated and so ignorant. She is talking thing she was made to memorize. May God not put one in the position of its enemy. When I listen Razva Kavakci, I felt like hearing the rhetoric of Benjamin Netanyahu, Avi Dichter or Avgidor Lieberman of Israel. Turkey under such politicians and advisors will have no vision and fortune for the future.
