Please agree how the Dragon in this you actually want him to get some redemption, literally felt sorry for him throughout the show, he just needs to be forgiven! But no way that can happen without a conclusion. Ended up despising the main characters especially the Rabbit, Fox and Panda.
It was actually pretty popular in summer 2008, most likely because that was around the time of the Kung Fu Panda hype. But by late 2008/early 2009, the show pretty much died off thanks to CN deathslotting it and was eventually erased from the channel. Pretty disappointing because I think it deserved a second season. This show is overhated. It might not have been among the best shows on CN, but it was alright. I even rewatched the show one time after almost 10 years and still enjoyed it. Too bad it didn't last long on CN.
Fun fact: this show was actually the debut of the award nominated Irish animation studio cartoon saloon known for films like the secret of kells, song of the sea, wolf walkers and my fathers dragon
@@katelynthewhitewerewolf6376 OK to be fair we don’t know if he did absolutely nothing all we know is that he was punished, Whether the punishment was justified or not we will never know since the show seems to want to bring it up for obvious reasons
@@empireyouth5791 The lore was that the Valley had a drought and dragon had a technique that could make it rain but he had to ask the heavens to use it. The heavens didn't reply to him so he did it himself anyways and was punished for it
While this show was creative I can see why it got taken off. They could have had more enemies on this show other than the freaking ninja monkeys and dragon. Plus every episode felt the same with Rabbit being arrogant, Skunk being adventurous, Fox being focused, Panda being disciplined etc. It needed more variety which it wasn't getting.
I liked "The Art of Remembering", I felt like the tone and direction of that episode would be great for where the series could have gone...too bad it was the last one.
This was literally the last cartoon I decided to stop watching because I'm getting too old for cartoons and most of the cartoons I grew up watching had finished. This cartoon was the turning point of me growing up. My golden era of cartoons died in 2000s
I just randomly came back to watch this theme song and I was thinking "Hey is that Ghostface, no it can't be". Then I heard him mention killa beez and I knew it had to be him.
Oh my god, I can’t believe I found this…I watched like two episodes of this show when I was six years old and then forgot everything about it, but I remember really enjoying it. I’ve been trying to figure out what it was for the past decade and now I know. :)
@Christopher Millian They also made the Secret of Kells (2009) the Breadwinner (2017), and the upcoming Wolfwalkers. So far all three of their released films have been nominated for best-animated feature, an impressive feat given that most of them get little to no mainstream buzz. As an Irish studio, they like making films with a strong emphasis on Celtic mythology (though breadwinner is set in Afghanistan) and are regarded as some of the best 2D animators working today. If you're interested both Song of the Sea and Breadwinner are on Netflix in America if you're at all interested.
I remember when this came out on Cartoon Network in mid 2008 and thought it was a Kung Fu Panda cartoon since it came out shortly after that movie did. The intro was different too it still had the talking at the beginning but then had a generic asian sounding song. I could never find that intro on youtube.
Is the video where he talked about this show even still up? I remember it being some two part top 50 video but I haven't even been able to find it since 2014
my favorite characters on skunk fu are skunk Fox rabbit crane Panda if only they put a final episode where skunk defeated dragon and save the valley And rabbit finally tells fox that he loves her and go out with her on a date
Or how about after skunk defeat dragon and dragon is changed back to a nice guy so he can be friends with panda again and skunk saves the valley from chaos and rabbit tells fox that he loves her and goes out on a date and everybody of the valley including panda, rabbit, Fox, and dragon thinks that They love skunk after all and skunk winks at the viewers and says that thank you everyone, thank you so much for watching the show!

Skunk Fu was actually one of those TV shows that I didn't want to see anywhere, but I have accidentally seen it somewhere a few times before so I didn't really think it was as great and nostalgic as I remember. I think this show aired a long time ago on Cartoon Network and I remember how the opening theme song goes, but I also thought it went different. It was also in one Serbian TV channel known as Ultra and it's called "Smrda Fu" there, even though "skunk" actually means "tvor" in Serbian and "stinky" means "smrda".
So let me get this straight... The dragon was punished because he helped out the people in the valley because of a drought that heaven brought well technically it was killing a lot of people? I'm starting to think that the dragon wasn't actually supposed to be the bad guy from the beginning....
I remember I watched this as a kid I saw it on cartoon network back in 2007 - 2008 man the nostalgia memories then I later saw it on the Super Mario Bros super show DVD that had a few theme songs at the end of the last segment.
