You can simply give it a “The Rescue Rangers” explanation, "No case to big, no case to small, if you need help just call". The Rescue Aid Society found a bottle with a message of help on it, and they plan on providing that aid no matter who, where, or what. In the Rescuers Down under it came to their attention again because a mouse was the one who called to help the little boy.

Of all the songs that have been stuck in my head, this one has been the longest. 10 YEARS NOW!!! I watched this movie when I was 4!!! . Is it possible to have nostalgia for a movie made almost 20 years before you were born? Because I just noticed that my eyes got all watery while the song was playing and now they're all red. . HOW DOES THIS VIDEO HAVE ONLY A QUATEER MILLION VIEWS?!?!?
So somebody is singing off key in the beginning but everyone else is singing with their hearts, including Bernard and Bianca who brightens the ending chorus as Eva Gabor joins in the scene with her amazing voice.
I remember growing up watching this! Re-watched it recently, got so inspired! This song hasn't left my head for a week! I can't believe Walt tabled the idea due to it's political statement, so glad the senior animators revived the idea!
Bruh this movie came out in 1977 and somehow Latvia has a seat despite still being part of the Soviet Union (only Belarus and Ukraine were given their own separate seats in the Soviet days). The entire continent of Africa is represented by one delegate. Austria and Vienna somehow both have seats. I know I'm nitpicking, but I just don't understand the point of these, I guess, artistic choices Disney was making.
I suppose Mouse culture is different than human culture. Maybe the mice viewed Latvia as deserving a seat while Ukraine and Belarus were more associated with Russia. Maybe Vienna mice view themselves as unique from other Austrian mice. Maybe all the mice in Africa are the same culture and country unlike humans.

I'm 25... and every couple of weeks I remember this song.. and find myself singing it... I youtubed... it ... and what U know... Here it IS! THANKS 4 posting this.
@gojyoismine Lol. Fun fact! Bianca's voice actress, Eva Gabor, was, in fact, actually from Hungary.
i absolutely loved this movie when I was a kid, I wish Disney movies were still like this.
XDDD Man, when Bianca stepped in, she really turned some heads, the minx.
Very cute clip! This is another one of my favorite Disney cartoons. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. :)
This comment is 15 fuckin years old!?!?
I still randomly sing this when I'm walking round 😂 just pops into my head
I just randomly got this stuck in my head just now, so I'm glad I found this! Bianca is awesome ^_^
RIP Bob Newhart 🐭❤
This always been arguably my favorite Disney movie even as a kid I loved it so much

@@Sammy-34079a) How would you like to read sentences with zero punctuation?
@@Sammy-34079b) You are dead wrong 😂
1:01 Bianca looks so cute strutting down the aisle like that.
Had to come to this after hearing that Bob Newhart passed away! Thank you for your work Bob! Now go have new adventures with your beloved and friends.
Way to go France and Latvia for being the trend setters!! haha
R-E-S, C-U-E, Rescue Aid Society. Do do do, do do do, do do do do do do...
Heads held high, touch the sky
You mean everything to me
In a fix, in a bind
Call on us anytime
We'll appear from nowhere
Mighty are we
R-E-S, C-U-E,
Rescue Aid Society,
Honesty, loyalty,
We pledge to thee.
vlasktom *Chorus*
In a jam, in a scrape,
And you think- no escape
Do not fear! We’ll be here!
Courageous are we!
Our hearts will pledge to thee
@@justin2308 Yeah, I don't suppose Mice need to imitate Human Politics.

When you grow up and realise the lyrics were on point 💜💜
Now Bernard and Bianca can be reunited in heaven.
R.I.P. Bob Newhart
1929 - 2024
Bianca sashaying her way into the meeting, fashionably late, but she makes an impression. That's how it's done.
Have you had any experience doing this at an event? 😂🎉😂
Bianca is the 1970s Jessica Rabbit to some ferries as I'd envision 😂❤❤😂
Miss Bianca is a hot mouse
r34 pls!
@@TheCanterlonian I'm still waiting on the r34 🤣
Bianca's entrance is absolutely fabulous. Her gait makes her look like a diva, and then Eva Gabor's voice is majestic!
RIP Bob Newhart💔
Best Disney song hands down. If I had a phone when I was little this would probably be my ringtone I would just keep rewinding the tape to listen to it
Oh my god I can't handle my emotions ..Damn Nostalgic
to bad the old disney is gone
Love whoever did the captions for this
Thank you! .... I want to say that I think I did one bored and sassy afternoon when VidIQ gave me crap for not having it captioned, but I can't remember if it was for this video or not. But if it was a community contributed captioning (back when youtube allowed that) then full credit to them but I can't seem to find a way to check who that would have been.
If anybody knows how I can check who did the captionings, please let me know, I'd love to give proper credit!
1:01 i love this part!! bianca's entrance is great!
I always loved the German mouse. She's just so emphatic about it.
i have this movie and it is awesome
R-E-S-C-U-E....rescue aid society, heads held high touch the sky!!!!
Out hearts we pledge to thee.
Man, cartoons were far more wholesome when i was a kid.
Now we have blues clues Trans-Parade.
I love how they all stop singing to gawk at Bianca.
Hummuna hummuna Hungarian women!
God, what an underrated gem, I loved this one, more than Down Under, honestly.
00:18 Got me dead hahaha! All the mice looked over at the German mouse
LOL I know right?
I have listened to this catchy tune more than ten times now. Disney songs never fail to make me smile.
Anyone else get a headache from pure nostalgia or is it just me?
This has lived in my brain for 25 years
Fav childhood movie
me too. I wanted a job like that when I was little. Parents talked me out of it by explaining you had to be cartoon rat to join the rescue aid society. Shattered my childhood aspirations!!
It's thanks to this song that I can always spell rescue despite my dyslexia
Still one of my favorite Disney songs😉
As far as Disney's "Bronze Age" era songs are concerned, Recue Aid Society still slaps
RIP Bob Newhart and Eva Gabor 😢💔
