This is great, I was looking to map something to a surface but knowing there's a free transform after Envelope Distort is amazing. I've used Illust. for years never knew this was possible.n
"the selection contains objects which cannot be distorted" is the pop-up i get when i try to use the envelope option. But i tried a different image and it worked. Please i want to ask why the first image i used didnt work
If you're talking about the X- shaped frame then you can turn it off by clicking on the Embed option in property bar. And if you don't want the Bounding Box itself then you can turn it off by going to View Menu and Un-check 'The Show Bounding Box' option.
@@GraphicsDen32 I mean when you drag the edge is without the bounding box and drag from the exact shape, meanwhile i have to drag through the bounding box, how to do it like that, anyway thankyou for answering🙏
What file type is the box you are using, is it a jpg file? There are mockups in Creative Fabrica, etc but I don't know which file type to use. Which file types are not compatible with Adobe Illustrator?
I am not discouraging bro...u r work was very good...but small small minute corrections needed...zoom in to the borders...u can bit notice some misalignments...not so much to worry...but minute corrections is needed...some originality is missing....

When you select the image click on the 'Embed' option in the Property Panel. That should resolve your issue.

Could be something to do with the image format, I haven't encountered such issue thus far...
I also find the same problem "the selection contains objects which cannot be distorted" for every image I select, yet am selecting jpeg images
@@luwaggasamson Need to look into it, I never had that issue...
If you select the image, on the properties choose "Embed", it seems to then work :)
@@VeraMCab THANK YOU, for real you saved me!!
thanks you
Thank you very much 😊
It is possible on iPad version? Thank u
Not sure, never used it on iPad...

What if the edges of the mockup are round? What then? How to make it fit exactly?
Create a rounded rectangle and then add images...

I've a separate video on that... You don't have the Blending Options in CorelDRAW, so it doesn't look realistic...

Make sure that, once you Place the image Click on the Embed option on the top (Control Panel), that should do the trick...
@@GraphicsDen32 okay bro let me try
The selection contains objects which cannot be distorted for every image I select yet am selecting jpeg images.
I need to check what's that all about, I never had that issue...
Same issue
gracias!
why everytime i move the edge of image it can't move from the exact position and theres a frame?

It's JPG... Illustrator Supports JPG, PNG...
i cant envelope distort it, it says the selection contains objects which cannot be distorted
Select the image click on the 'Embed' option in the Property Panel, then use distort...
IT CAN BE EASY MORE.
I think photoshop is easier for this kind of mockups
Yes...
Error 😢😢
What's the error...
There is an actual way to make mock-up and this isn’t it. It’s ok but not best way to do it.
I think the best Mock-ups can be created in Photoshop... This is just the basic stuff...
It is not realistic
How so...
