Which episode was that revealed in? I don't think that's true. People just spoiled it for him long ago. The first tme Madara is teased is in the scene in shippuden where the 9 tails says his name to Sasuke and Sasuke says something like, "I don't know who that is"

Before that, the statues at the Valley of the End are only said to be the founders of Konoha. At this point we don't know that one of them depicts Madara.

That conversation between Tsunade and Jiriaya is one of the best scenes in Naruto. Especially when you watch it again after knowing the whole story. Its also partly what makes both of them some of my very favorite manga/anime characters.
You know Shipudeen is dark when they switch on the only comic relief character.
Episode 136 😂 that voiced change was fire 🔥 when I read that in the manga, I didn't notice that because it's just only a panel
You can summon the snake from anywhere. Sasuke summoned the snake. Went inside the snake to protect himself from the explosion. And suigetsu summoned the snake from the battlefield to his location.
Getting introduced to the leader and shadow leader at the same time is a smart move, leaves your brain in a dizzy mess for a while

Reading the manga weekly was some of the most hype shit ever. Every week after the Madara thing the forums would BLOW UP with theories and hype it was so much fun and exciting
Looking back, it was hilarious how everyone thought Tobi was Obito up until this moment, and then all those theories instantly died... too bad the Golden byakugan never became a thing LOL.
@twitchboy1439It's not a spoiler? Literally everyone who read the manga thought that Tobi was Obito until he revealed himself as Madara. Kakashi Gaiden was published before the start of Shippuden, so we all though that Tobi's goofy personality was a match for Obito. We also thought the Akatsuki leader was Minato until Pain's face was revealed. These chapters changed a lot for fan theories.
Also, spoilers don't matter, they don't read YT comments. But I didn't post a spoiler to begin with.

18:35 Up to this point the only thing known about Madara was that he fought against Hashirama (first hokage) and his monument is next to Hashirama's in the endless valley (where Naruto and Sasuke fought as children). Also remember that the 9-tailed fox mentioned his name when he saw Sasuke, telling him that he has a darker chakra than Madara Uchiha.
He didn't say his chakra was darker than madaras. He said his chakra was more ominous than his, just LIKE madara uchihqs from long ago.

This episode created so many theories in Anime Community back then.

It's always funny the writers pretending Jiraiya didn't already now Kushina's name. So much focus was placed on the Uchiha its a real shame and downfall of the show that other clans had to be pushed out of the story like the awesome Uzumaki Clan

The only mention of Madara Uchiha so far was in episode 1 of shippuden when Sasuke saw the 9 tails within Naruto. No details are given, just that Sasuke's "vision and chakra" is like Madara's from long ago

Madera is one of the founders of the Hidden leaf village, former Uchiha clan leader and yes, that is a stature of him at the valley where naruto fought sasuke

To me, "also..." seems to imply that there is another Uchiha that Itachi is aware of. Because there's a long pause between that and what he said next, which sounded like a change of subject. And right after we see Tobi revealing his Sharingan. (It won't be confirmed what Itachi meant by "Also...", so its just my speculation.)
