Also even without Sasuke cutting off the tentacle, B would have still break off a tentacle and the result would be the same. At this state in Shippuden, Sasuke would had lost to B no matter what especially if he fought solo.

@@roxasbaker Sasuke's chakra nature and Sharingan counters Deidara, so that works in Sasuke's favour and it didn't prove anything at all. Meanwhile Sasuke also fought a 15% strong orochimaru which tells us NOTHING other than Sasuke's sharingan killed Orochimaru's transfer ritual. So these 2 scenarios are basically telling us that Sasuke's abilities are just meh... Sasuke only won those fights because his enemies are either too weak or have incompatible chakra nature against sasuke. So ultimately, Sasuke is STILL useless.
AND BTW, that guy above your comment was right. Sasuke WOULD HAVE died if not for Karin. You should have mentioned his fight against Danzo if you wanted to highlight Sasuke's best moment. That 1v1 was much better to showcase Sasuke's improvement. Still didn't prove anything though because it is true that Sasuke would have died to Killer Bee. Killer Bee is FILLED with battle experiences during war times (3rd Great Ninja war). Sasuke is just a little baby trying to fight with an ELITE war veteran Killer Bee. So don't even compare deidara and orochimaru to Killer Bee, sasuke is just a baby in the eyes of Killer Bee.

"Hachi" in Japanese can be "eight" (八) and it can also be "bee" (蜂). ALSO, "bee" in English has a very close pronunciation of the kanji for tails (尾).
When this brother says "Hachibi (eight tails) stings like a bee" (八尾蜂のように指す) this should stun his opponents from how many jokes per second they get hit with.
I used the wrong kanji for "sting" it should be 刺す instead of 指す.

It’s so funny that the first fight after beating itachi and awakening mangekyo, everyone thinks sasuke is gonna easily handle Bee. Then, Bee absolute destroys all of them and sasuke is pretty fortunate he didn’t die TWICE!!! 😂

FYI: The Mangekyou Sharingan has a unique power for each eye
*Itachi*
Right eye: Amaterasu (black flames)
Left eye: Tsukuyomi (genjutsu)
*Sasuke*
Right eye: Kagatsuchi (Amaterasu flame control)

Tsukuyomi is only used by Itachi. it looks like other genjutsu, but the difference is his victims feel everything he is doing to them like it is real, and he is able to manipulate time, space and matter at will. notice how bee simply couldnt move from the paralysis genjutsu. in a standard genjutsu whatever they cast on you is what is happening until you are awakened, moved, or a more powerful genjutsu is cast on you ( i dont want to spoil so i wont include my sources, but people who have watched and read know.)

Haha yes, that was literally a prevalent theory in Naruto forums at the time. I can think of some reasons they'd want to hide his face though. For example, what if Madara did a body transfer jutsu on a prominent character of the past? What if Tobi was Madara having taken over the body of the 4th Hokage for example? Or since Kisame mentioned the Mizukage, I could see people theorizing that it was Madara having taken over the body of the Mizukage, who had not been introduced at this point.

I love that instead of building his story up from the nothing, they introduce him like this, as basically a completed character, and it makes you curious to unpack everything about him.
If anyone is confused.. so far... we know .. The Uchiha clan were planning to attack the hidden village and take over the village... Itachi had to choose between the clan and the village. Itachi chose the village.... So Sasuke is not going for revenge for Itachi.... He is doing it for himself.

Killer Bee's Oxtopus form is _SO_ cool, and this episode really raised the stakes in terms of how dangerous a Jinchuriki is. I liked that the plot armor Sasuke had there came at the cost to his team in a way that made him remember Team 7.

From original Naruto, you guys might recall the seal applied to members of the Hyuuga's Branch family which destroys their eyes upon death. This implies that Kakashi isn't unique in wielding a Sharingan implanted into him but that anyone can wield the clan-specific eyes if they can get their hands on them. After all, what would be the point in the Hyuuga's seal if the eyes also required a Hyuuga body?

he is partially correct. sharingan takes a lot of chakra to use if you aren't an Uchiha, Kakashi has a lot of chakra which makes him capable but most people would be way too drained from it to use it to their benefit.

The further you get into Naruto the more plot armor stuff will happen, which is geniunely fair critique. I just didnt expect it from you guys since you like DS so much and didnt seem to comment on the plot armor there. Completely agree with you guys. When I saw this fight it was instantly my favorite. The eight tails is SO sick. He's such a unique character not only in Naruto but in Anime, period. To this day I'm still irritated Killer Bee "lost" because he absolutely DESTROYED team Taka. I also felt like Sasuke not dying was super plot armor(y).
Winners and losers aside, it's a really pivotal moment for the story. Sasuke awakens new powers. Prior to this we didn't know you could extinguish Amaterasu. We learn WHY Karin is extremely valuable to team Taka (her unique abilities). We learn that Jinchuriki's can actually work as "partners" with their tailed beasts inside and see how insanely strong they are when doing so, which adds this whole new degree of pathways to the story. We learn the Hachibi is the Raikage's little brother. . . . I believe this is our main introduction to the village hidden in the clouds? etc etc etc.
So all in all, there are lots of exciting things I think you guys picked up on even though secretly we all know my man Killer Bee should have won.
There was a filler episode where Tobi(Madadara) met Kisame for the first time. Kisame killed the owner of Samehada sword and Mizukage shows up, but it was Madara controlling him with his sharingan, during that encounter Madara took off his mask and showed his face to Kisame.
Every Mangakyo sharingan owner has his unique abilities, Itachi was unable to manipulate amaterasu just create it, one of his eyes could create amaterasu, the other one tsukuyomi genjutsu.

Why would they? When has anybody had a giant hole in them before? And Jugo is able to do a ton of shit with his ability, including growing new body parts. And we know that his ability can be transferred to other people. So it all makes perfect sense. Just because it was convenient doesn't mean it was contrived.

Fun fact Sasuke is hit by a direct blow from Killer Bee's Lariat As a result of this attack, Sasuke had to be saved by Jugo with his abilities In the manga, the effect of the Lariat bee makes Sasuke's chest tear and his ribs are visible, which is covered in blood However, in the anime scene it was changed to a small, dark wound with less blood According to Jugo, Sasuke's chest and throat were completely destroyed, even down to the internal organs

Sasuke was mustering every last ounce of strength he had to try and stop his big brother; Itachi loved this Sasuke so much he could hardly stand it. He even had the impulse to run away with him. But under no circumstances could he do that."
Guys, Tobi already said Itachi was a double agent, if we would bring the "hokage peace agreement" to table to discuss, they would kill him knowing he's spying them.
The reason why jugo was able to fuse his body with sasuke is cos the curse mark was originally from jugo. Thats why sasukes body was compatible with him. The curse mark from orochimaru was removed during the itachi fight. So the merging from jugo has nothing to do with orochimarus curse mark. It's just his body is compatible
Hidan is actually likely dead by now in the story. Kishimoto said he can die from malnutrition. So he would die after a week or so in that pit.

On the topic of how Chakra works, chakra is infused, not just usable by possessing it. Chakra is taken in and infused into your own chakra pool, expanding it. So since Sasuke had the mark for years, his chakra is highly compatible with curse mark chakra and therefore it can do things like near death healing.This is explained much later on in the show

Not a spoiler but this is just information so you don’t get confused. Each MS has two separate abilities. Notice I said each meaning that a person like kakashi would only have one. Itachi had Amaterasu and tskynomi. So we will get to see sasuke own.

kakashi's sharingan was permanently activated the moment it was transplanted to him. it cannot be deactivated and it was constantly draining his stamina everytime he uses it since he was not an uchiha and didnt have the uchiha body to freely activate and deactivate it at will. so he had to cover his eye.
remember the fight between naruto and sakura vs kakashi, when naruto was spoiling kakashi about jiraiya's book, kakashi had to close his eye because his sharingan can aslo read naruto's lips. the moment he closed his eyes, he cant use the sharingan although it was permanently active.

The reason jugo could do that was because, only a few people can have a curse mark if you can’t handle it. You will die, so it’s like a heart or kidney transplant.

Y'all are partially right about the Sharingan, those with the Uchiha bloodline can awaken the Sharingan and it won't drain their chakra easily as a non-Uchiha which is why Kakashi can't last in a fight long when he brings out his Sharingan. Yeah that's why he wears his headband low to cover his eyes because Uchiha members can retract their Sharingan and Kakashi can't or maybe he was never taught how to.
Itachi knew about Tobi because 15 years ago Konoha was attacked by the kiyubi and only someone with a manguekyo could do that but he knew it wasn't anyone from the clan, so he assumed it was an Uchiha defector and went after him.

*Bee has 8 swords
*Every mangekyō sharingan has unique ability/abilities. Tho both itachi and sasuke can use amaterasu, only sasuke can control it.
*Not everyone can survive the curse mark. Since sasuke was able to, it means he's compatible with Jugo's chakra.
*Regular mangekyō can blind the user if used excessively
How Itachi became aware of Tobi is shown/explained down the road unfortunately around the 450ish episode mark

No spoilers, only answering your doubt. They never answered how Madara survived the eternal flames of Amaterasu in the anime but from what we know, he probably used his ability to slip his body through the fire. He has the ability to slip through anything and everything.

The curse mark is derived from jugo cells so it makes sense
The thing about the Sharingan is that, yes, anyone can kill an Uchiha and implant their eye. But if you are not an Uchiha, you will suffer some limitations regarding the Sharingan. The main one is, you can't ever turn it off. That's why Kakashi has the headband covering the eye, otherwise it would drain his chakra forever.
Listen once you die your Hutus releases UNLESS it’s a seal like the nine tails being sealed in Naruto as an example.

Yup, that's the power of having complete control over the tailed beast.
I don't know which studio did this episode, but if a remake of Naruo will happen some day, it MUST be like this episode, the artstyle and characters are so beautifully drawn, and the fights so dinamic and fluid and smooth and don't put that famous over exagerated distortion. And I also think Suigetsu should have died here.
Every Uchiha has an ability in each of their individual eyes, Itachi had amateratsu in one eye and in the other he had tsukuyomi, so itachi could use amateratsu but not control it. In the other hand Sasuke has amateratsu in one eye and in the other eye he has amateratsu flame control. So he can use amateratsu and control it.
