Looks to me that the A800 pretends to have a higher resolution when really what it does is provide a less wide angle, a more zoomed in view, that just makes objects look more detailed. The problem with that is that you lose a lot outside the frame.
500s can record when parking right? Does it going to wear out the car battery faster? Do we need to change the car battery once a year because kong already? Can we off the parking recording?

Also would you get M500 over A500S or A800S The biggest difference is that M500 is not dual channel and you won't be able to ever connect a rear camera... So what's your opinion my friend....

Thanks for watching 1. Plays back regular speed files length are determined by settings 1 2 3 mins dashcam normally breaks up files so easy to wifi transfer to phone & share 2. Will loop recording after card is full use 64gb can store up more hours before written over.
A500s clearly higher contrast in the dark. Than the shadow look more darker. We can't see if something or someone in the shadow but the light part better than the others. 🤔

Real 4k in A800 is a joke. A800 have problems in focus, quality of video and need special adapter for parking sensor. Only i recommended the A500 70mai lite.

I prefer A800s due to 4K availability cause I do run a UA-cam channel sometimes may need some road trip videos in 4K but for normal users they may not as it takes up lots of space and can't store too many days of videos in 4K.
I'm really surprised that A800s doesn't have HDR. I can see the sharp image that's true to 4k resolution but without HDR it's fairly useless at night unless you're in a really well lit area. I was on the fence between A500s and A800s but like many here I'll go for the A500s. A800s has minor improvements and fixes the "disappearing" ADAS (on a500s the ADAS turns off randomly after transferring video) but price + HDR makes a500s still the winner for me.
HDR isn't for night conditions, it's for capturing extremely bright areas at the same time as extremely dark areas, like being in a tunnel and the exterior being clear instead of over exposed. For a good night picture, a larger sensor is needed. Otherwise the only way to see at night is to increase the ISO which adds noise.

If very dark won't get good video both the A800 & A500 using the same rear cam... my tint not darker than 50%

how big the file size for A500s?is 32GB memory card enough for it?i mean how many days can we record on 32GB memory card?
32gb normally enough for 3hrs - 6hrs drive best use 64gb if you plan to keep footage longer before it over rides back the earlier ones

Great dashcam comparison. The PRO is clearer without the light. But when there is light A500S is clearer

You need to enable it from settings and open door close it to test knocking on dash won't shake the car enough

the surveillance is not a full video it's like multiple snapshots each min stitched together no worries on sd card space & heat
